They were excellent. They have very good workmanship, and were willing to work around the other contractors schedule. I think that the price was fair for the work that they did for me. I have used them in the past to install doors and replace windows and I have always been pleased with their service.

We are delighted with the product and the service. We have used Schneider's for siding and for replacement windows. Our previous experiences were so good that we really didn't consider anywhere else. Our confidence in Schneider's has been reconfirmed. Should the need arise, we would unhesitatingly use their services and recommend others do the same.

They were the only company out there who would work with a stone mason to coordinate the entire job. They did an absolutely beautiful job. I feel like I got really excellent service for the dollar amount of the job and the complexity of this work. I would hire them again in a flash.

Very satisfied with the work. They came highly recommended from my other contractor. The salesman showed up on time and he helped us through are decision making process for the type of railing and color. He measured for the railing and gave us a quote that day. It helped that we could visit their showroom and see the railing before we made a decision to have them do the work. The installation went great and it looks great on my house.

I contacted Schneiders Home Equipment and requested an appointment for an estimate. I was contacted by the salesman, John Wiehe, on the same day. He arrived on time and spent about two hours with me during the initial call. I was pleased with the suggestions he made concerning the little details which would make the project improve the appearance of my home. He offered these suggestions (which increased the cost of the project) without pressuring me to make decisions. The installers were prompt and professional. The entire job took about 2 1/2 weeks to complete. A few decisions had to be made as the job progressed and they made suggestions which improved the appearance of my home. The detail work they did with the trim around the windows is impressive. I was not able to be home most of the days they worked and had no reservations about this. A few small things needed extra attention (a damaged shutter and some finishing detail with the door) and these were taken care of promptly and did not slow the progress of the job. This project was daunting when I began and the outcome couldn't have been more satisfying.

When chosen, the door was not available, offered a cheaper model, and was very satisfied. The front door closes securely since installation and didn't previously. Very satisfied.

They do satisfactory work and they also guarantee it. They don't leave any mess or anything behind. They do a very professional job.

The estimator was on-time, professional, extremely thorough and willing to answer all of my questions. He was very patient and gave me the information I needed to make the various decisions when selecting hardware. His attention to detail was fantastic, and it was this that led me to choose Schneider over a competitor with similar prices. The installation was, on the whole, very good. The doors look great, the outside appearance is excellent, the thresholds are very nice, they close smoothly, the deadbolts and latches all operate very smoothly (no force needed to close the doors or lock the deadbolts). There were a few negative points. Both of the inside door frames pulled away from the interior walls, as expected, but there was some plaster damage that the original installer didn't patch up. They sent an installer back out to repair at no charge. Also, there were a few small areas of daylight coming thru the seals, which they also fixed (mostly, I have to touch up two of them).

We were not home when the work was done but the installation was done very neatly and professionally. We have used Schneider in the past (windows and siding) and continue to be impressed with the quality of the products they sell and their workmanship.

They did great job. They replaced the door because of a little, tiny flaw as they promised they would. They definitely live up to their promises.

Their sales rep is extremely professional and courteous, and we enjoyed meeting with him. Their bid was the lowest and we had a hard time not hiring them to do the work. Schneider wanted to essentially build a new frame within the existing door frame, thus making it a standard size door. We were not comfortable with that approach and ended up going with a different company who was able to use a higher quality door for only a slightly higher price. We did, however, enjoy talking with Schneider and recommend contacting them for a bid.

I received three quotes from three different companies with good Angie's List ratings. These guys had the best price and were very responsive. (Actually when comparing apples-to-apples, they had almost the same price as one of their competitors. But the other guy was adding in a bunch of extras that we didn't really need.) Everyone showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. It'll be awhile to see if the door is properly sealed and installed but it looks good, so far. My only gripe is that the door frame was not painted very well on the outside. (They shaved some money off their quote by not painting the interior, which is great from my view). But the exterior was supposed to be painted well and I'll have to fix that myself.

I received exactly what I'd ordered and am happy with the outcome.

The estimator, Ken, came out on time and took measurements. He was on time and very polite. He explained the procedure and their products very well. He even suggested reversing the hinges for the back storm door for a more convenient opening. We will definitely do business with them again. They even nailed down the amount of time to order and install to the exact day.

They were very professional & very efficient. It took 2 months to get the door in because they had to have it specially made. I thought they were terrific. They were quite & clean.

I was unable to be home when Mike came to give us an estimate or when the work was done, but Schneider has an excellent reputation & I was not disappointed. Mike called me, we discussed exactly what I wanted, & he certainly delivered!

THE SALESMAN WHO MEASURED AND GAVE ESTIMATE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME DETERMINE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. THE INSTALLATION WAS FAST AND PRECISE- ALL DOORS FIT PERFECTLY AND LOOK GREAT. I'M IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY AND ALSO THE INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLER HAD TO REMOVE THE OLD TRIM AROUND MY BACK DOOR AND PUT IT BACK PERFECTLY. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IT HAD BEEN REMOVED.

THE PERSONNEL WERE POLITE AT ALL TIMES, I BELIEVE THE SALESPERSON WAS NEW WHICH MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE REASON FOR ERRORS. ALL MEASUREMENTS WERE RECHECKED FOR ACCURACY. THE PROBLEM WITH THE DOORS WAS THE MOST TROUBLING. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE PERSON WHO COULD AUTHORIZE REPAIRS. THE BILL WAS PAID, EXCEPT FOR $1000 BECAUSE OF THE DOORS HAD NOT BEEN REINSTALLED. THEY CALLED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THAT. WHEN THE DOORS WERE FIXED THE FINAL $1000 WAS PAID. THE WORK WAS STARTED OCT 13 2004, COMPLETED MAY 2 2005.

I HAVE HAD THIS COMPANY FOR SIDING, FRONT DOOR AND BASEMENT DOOR. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO CALL THEM BACK EXCEPT FOR THE SIDING, WHICH WAS PUT ON WHILE SNOWING AND SOME OF IT BUCKELED. THEY RETURNED AND DID IT RIGHT THE SECOND TIME.

THE MEN WERE VERY POLITE, THEY KEPT THE AREA CLEAN. IT WAS A NICE EXPERIENCE.

THE COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB REPAIRING OUR SCREENS. IT WAS DONE ON TIME AND WITH GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP.
