Description of Work: Ed and his crew removed and replaced the old, damaged hardwood of my stair landing. It turned out great. I will have Ed refinish and repair the steps and other hardwood floors in my house. I definitely recommend Ed to anyone needing hardwood floor work.

Description of Work: I bought the special, Ed contacted me and visited my home to check out the job. He was on time and very professional. I told him what I planned. Ed was honest and very helpful. He told me I didn't need to have my floors done at this time. I really appreciate his honesty. He refunded my purchase. I will use them in the future and I highly recommend Schindler Hardwood.

+ -1 moreEd Schindler repaired, sanded and refinished my kitchen floors during a kitchen remodel. He put two coats of finish on before the new cabinets were set, then put a third coat on and installed new toe strip after the kitchen was completed. He also had to do some repair work where the construction people messed up the floor (although some of it was too deep).There is a step down to our sunroom which we thought didn't really need refinishing (although in the quote), but when the step looked more yellow (age) than the refinished floor, he sanded and refinished it without issue. That meant an extra trip.
