Great. Extremely nice, professional, and responsive--especially as compared to other companies. Mower was ready in 1 week (and I was getting quoted 3 weeks by everyone else). Going back in a couple of months to have him (them?) work on our rotatiller and snow thrower as well.

When my lawn mower's steering stripped, I checked the list and found A & A Mower. When I called, I was disappointed to learn that it would cost $60 just to pick up and return my mower plus a diagnosis fee* would have me spending almost $100 without getting anything fixed and it would take 3 weeks just to get this far!! The icing on the cake was that A & A couldn't or wouldn't give me a non-binding ballpark amount ($100 or $700??) to repair stripped steering! It may not be worth fixing! *(Fee applied if I chose to not have the repairs done. It's reasonable to cover their time invested.) Then I was referred to Schaefer Services by Patrick McDaniel who was cutting my front yard while my mower was out of commission. Prompt return phone call, $40 to pick up and deliver (based on distance & time - they taught me that $60 from A & A was not unreasonable!), ballpark guesstimate was 'Probably no more than $150' AND they could be out the day after tomorrow to pick it up. They had it fixed and ready to return in two days!! Plus, with all the extra bits of maintenance they did for me they still kept the total cost under $150. It's been a happy, well behaved lawn mower ever since.
