Later that day, I called, and he said it had been sent to some other guy to contact me. As of 2 weeks later, I have not been contacted and went with another company.

Description of Work: My call to them and my goal was to meet at my house via an estimate appointment to get a price quote for a rather large asphalt drive sealing project. After three days of calls to firm up proposed "days" to meet, and then supposedly if it would be AM or PM, the lady in the office never seemed to be able to lock any times in and repeatedly didn't return calls to give a better "ballpark" estimate as to when the estimator (Doug) hoped to arrive, once the day had been agreed on. After being "ignored" on two consecutive days and him not showing up, and me again calling back, we agreed that he would come out the following Tuesday and call me at that time, since I would be out of town, but able to "talk" him through my needs and concerns. Since that time, he didn't show up on Tuesday and no one has ever contacted me again. It wasn't three strikes, they blew the whole inning. Luckily, during that time, I was able to deal with two other professional companies and now have quotes and the work scheduled.

+ 0 moreIn both cases, they did a very good job in a timely manner. While it is not "perfect", his pricing was much lower than than the only other competitor I was considering. (Had quotes from a couple of other companies but decided after talking to the person quoting that I did not want to use their services.)When they came to pour the concrete, he sent the concrete truck back as they felt that there was a problem with the concrete that was being delivered.Doug also figured out a way to create a small ramp from the new concrete to a shed...made out of pavers. It seems to have worked very well. (The concrete needed to be poured a few inches below the entrance to the shed for drainage.)
Description of Work: Doug Rogers bid the job two different times (because needs changed). I needed a concrete driveway put in (new) and had an older asphalt driveway torn out and replaced.
