John promptly made an appointment to visit us. He arrived a half hour late but then spent about 2 hours with us, discussing possibilities, measuring our kitchen etc. He said we could expect to hear back from him in about a week. But despite our sending a follow-up email after about 2 weeks, to this day we have heard nothing from him. I would not recommend spending your time on this company.

I would never do business or suggest that anyone do business with this company. I totally gutted my kitchen in mid April and even though I had already purchased kitchen cabinets from IKEA I would need work done. I called this company and spoke with John and made an appointment for him to come look at kitchen. He showed up on time and I did like what he suggested and was actually looking forward to working with him.Now the bad stuff.....to this day I have not ever heard back from him...ever! When he was getting ready to leave he asked if I would send him the layout/plans form the IKEA website, which I did,. I waited over 2 weeks to get some sort of estimate so I decided to call him. I asked if he had received the info that I sent and he said.." yes but I could not open link". When I said I could resend he said " oh never mind I think I have it figured out without it". Well, to this day and it has been over 2 months I have received NO communication from him at all! I of course have moved on but I was so very frustrated with this guy after wasting well over an hour of my time talking about his thoughts on my kitchen...had to listen to him tell me how he thought there were far too many people in " his business" who drop the ball....and he does the same darn thing!BEWARE!

John spent a few hours talking with us about what we needed from our kitchen, how we used it and what we were hoping to accomplish with the redesign. We didn't want a simple take-out-the-old-bring-in-the-new. I wanted a way to have a stove-top and oven separate and have an island. John took my request and created three designs. One the way I asked, though an island was impossible as the space didn't allow for it, one modifying my request and one completely different. He showed how he can give you what you think you want and then he showed us how he can really design! We went with his third design and the kitchen looks awesome! The flow of traffic is soooo much better and the workstations are smart and effective so that a couple people can work in the kitchen without walking all over each other. I'm really impressed with his ability to design effectively, efficiently and with style. Our kitchen is beautiful! When selecting our cabinets, flooring, counters and back-splash, he offered advice but let me decide what suited and didn't try to impose his personal tastes. The fact I spent so much is totally on me, but I feel that this remodel is something I'm only going to do once and I didn't want anything less than what I want. I like fine grained wood and quality materials that will stand the test of time. John had a full range of products from which to choose that included all levels of expense. His guidance and knowledge of the products allowed me to make what I consider the best choices! I hope to have him help us remodel the basement into a more efficient space.

Three weeks went by and we did not hear from John, so we called him to find out the status. He indicated that due to the Hurricane Ike related weather and subsequent loss of electricity in his company's area, he was a little behind, but would be working on the plans that weekend and would get back to us within 10 days. Our initial meeting was August 9th - we have heard nothing since (today is October 20th). I don't feel that I should have to chase someone down to give them my money (especially this amount of money!) - so we have decided to work with a different company. It's too bad - John seemed like a nice guy, but this was handled VERY unprofessionally, and if we had this problem just getting the ideas for a design, what might we run into if we did work with him and the actual work was being done? We would not recommend this company to others - sorry John...

JOHN IS VERY PRECISE, HE THINKS AHEAD FOR PROBLEMS. HE IS VERY, VERY HUMOROUS.
