Description of Work: They don't charge for a service call but they charged waaaaaay to much for the service. I should have asked the price before I had them do the work which was my fault. I had them replace the stopped in the bath room sink and I had the part! It took him 10 minutes and he was finished and I was socked with a $179 bill!

Nevertheless, please understand that EVERY plumbing situation is different and this is why we give a flat rate quote to each customer before you ever commit to a dime with Plumb Tite. We do not and will not begin work until this has been authorized by the customer. This is because we never know for certain until we begin whether a job could take 10 minutes or 4 hours. If the job would have taken 4 hours, you would have been charged the exact same amount, which you state was quoted to you at $179. I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the price in your situation because the job took what you estimated at 10 minutes, even though when I checked our GPS tracking of our vehicles at your job our tech was actually at your house for well over an hour. I think you would find you would have paid in excess of this from the majority of our competitors AND had a service fee added to the price as well. While flat rate pricing may be imperfect, I think you will find that the vast majority of the time it benefits the customer and ensures the service technician is being efficient and effective , as is often the case in a "time and material" types of quote. Again, I apologize that you are unhappy with the amount you were charged with how long it took to unclog your drain, but the vast majority of drain cleanings last 2 hours or longer and you would have been charged the exact same amount were this to be the case.
