Plumb Tite Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drains

I had 2 compression fittings with significant corrosion on the copper output line of my hot water heater. They weren’t leaking yet but I knew it was only a matter of time. The line was very close to the ceiling which made access for soldering very difficult. I called Plumb Tite and they were able to schedule an appointment very quickly. The plumber and his apprentice even arrived a little early for the appointment. He quickly assessed the situation and explained he would use a new process for joining copper pipe that didn’t require soldering. The pipe didn’t have much give and it was difficult to move it enough to get the old section out and the new one in but he worked at it and was able to get the job done in less than 2 hours. The joints are clean and dry now. I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend Plumb Tite for plumbing repair.

i can not say how happy i am with Plumb Tite. The 2 young men came in and installed the new toilet and took away the old one, in record time. there were very professional and polite. they did a fantastic job and i will defiantly use them again when i need a plumber. Thank you so much.

Chris, plumbing technician, was excellent. Came as scheduled, spent about and hour. Thorough job, demonstrated that it was done properly, double-checked draining and connections for me to see without complaint after I asked him to. Neat, clean, friendly. I would give an A+ on service. Price of $274 seems too high, per Angie's list guidelines. Service was basic kitchen sink drain clearage, including use of 35-foot snake. Elsewhere on Angie's site I read: "Cost to snake a drain Manny Vega, president and owner of All Drain Services in Dracut, Massachusetts, says his company charges a flat-rate fee to snake drains. They charge $195 for kitchen sinks and $170 for bathroom sinks and tubs. While price varies depending on the market and the severity of the clog, Young from Legacy Plumbing says the average cost to clear a tub, kitchen or bathroom drain runs $109 to $214. Removing a clog from a laundry drain costs between $151 to $214, and remedying a toilet clog ranges from $109 to $273. All jobs include a $50 service fee."

Mike was great. He was very professional, clean, and did high quality work. He took the time to label everything so even our children can identify the hot and cold pipes, the gas supply and the emergency valve. He took the time to show our children how to shut off the gas in case of emergency. Well above and beyond.

Steve did a great job duribg the install. He had to cut a small space in our interior dry wall ceiling. Excellent job with the ceiling! Installed a frost free facet. Steve entered our house with a facial mask and shoe covers. The job was performed at a quick pace. Great all around job!

Plumb Tite was easy to schedule. Tim arrived and reviwed the toilets we were looking at replacing, including installation of a bidet in one of the bathrooms. I couldn't be more pleased with Plumb Tite. From the first call to the office to the technician who did the evaluation and installation. The staff was incredible and extremely professional. It is refreshing that there are still people who strive for excellence and customer service. Chad, the lead technician, took the time to fully evaluate our current heater to determine if it needed to be replaced. He explained why and showed us where the issues were and what would happen if it wasn't replaced. He laid out the various options and told us the pros and cons. Eventually we landed on a tankless system. They returned promptly and completed the project in less time than originally quoted. There were no surprises and everything works perfectly. A few days after installation, a customer service representative, Betty, called to make sure there were no issues and that we were absolutely satisfied. Well Betty, we most certainly are and thank you for following up. We have been using another plumbing company, but we will now use Plumb Tite exclusively. Bravo Plumb Tite.

I was very pleased to be able to get an appointment within 24 hours. The service men were prompt, and efficient in unclogging my drain. They also gave me information on how to avoid the problem in the future. I definitely recommend them and would use their service again.

The plumber did a good job. He didn't take long to complete the job.

We had a mystery leak in the basement whenever we used the washer. Bobby worked long and hard to fix the problem, to tear up the cement and replace the pipe. He finished the job by filling in the cement. He also did some outside faucet replacement. He wore a mask and kept us informed about what was happening. Very professional.

We quoted out to several plumbers, Plumb tite pointed out several things that weren't to code that no one else mentioned, so went with them. The installer was extremely friendly, experienced and the install went quick; he was also always ontime and called beforehand when he was on his way. This also took place in the midst of a Covid-19 virus uptick so he always wore a mask while in the basement. Will hire them out again for our next plumbing need!

Plumb tite was extremely responsive and provides quality work! We were completing a bathroom renovation when our main water valve broke. Nate was out the next morning to address the situation. He also quickly installed a new shower valve since we were replacing all shower fixtures. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and provided quality work for a fair price. We highly recommend this plumbing company for both emergencies and general repairs.

When they arrived they gave me a price of $324 to run the snake to clean out the underground clogged pipe which they did and pulled out a bunch of roots. After that they they said it would be an additional $650 to run another machine to clean out the mud which they did the water started running clear. So they were apparently successful in clearing the clog. The problem is that they were about to walk away with out properly reconnecting the downspout to the underground drain. He said that's the way it was before he got here. A totally half-assed attitude! I told him that the job of clearing the downspout was started by another handyman. The handyman cleared the down spout but did not have the equipment to take care of the underground pipe. Plumb Tite was going to walk away and leave the downspout without properly reconnecting to the underground pipe. I told him this was unacceptable because clearly the downspout was not even being directed to the the underground pipe. He said he did not know how it could be put back together. It is unconscionable that he was ready to leave the job that way until I insisted that was unacceptable.

I used Plumb Tite to install a tankless water heater. The pricing was straight forward and fair. The service technician was professional and courteous. He showed up on time and cleaned up the workspace afterwards. I would definitely recommend Plumb Tite.

I had a leak in my faucet in my laundry tub, and a leak in the ceiling in my basement bathroom, which is directly under my 1st floor bathroom. Well, he looked at them both and said to repair the ceiling leak he would have to go through my tile wall to get to the leak and for both repairs it would be $1500.00 !! Well, I had him replace the faucet ( $ 375.00 dollar repair) but would have to wait on the other leak. I them called another plumber, he came out took about 15 minutes to examine the problem, and told me it was the stems in the bathtub, which he got the parts, replaced them and it hasn't leaked since. This cost me $ 400.00 total. I trusted Angie's list to recommend companies that are honest and fair, but this was not the case here.

Plumb Tite's customer service was exceptional. I was not at home when the work was completed so the plumber called me and walked me through everything they found. Very easy to talk to and very helpful. Would definitely work with them again!
