Plumb Tite Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drains

They came out on Christmas eve which was a plus, but they left kind of a mess as well. Just kind of average.

Great. Was finished in about 20 minutes.

It went really well. They set up a time but he wasn't able to come at that time. He called me to tell me where he was and gave me a new ETA. He did arrive at the new estimated time. When he came I gave him the shower head and he completed the work. He explained the process and how the new shower head worked. We discussed other options for plumbing. When he was done he cleaned up, gave me advice for future work. He provided me with a written estimate for the future jobs I am considering. I am totally impressed. I will be using him again.

Work was done in a timely and professional manner.

arrived on time with appropriate tools, accomplished the job in a timely manner for the estimated price, we had a coupon from angies list which was honored without issue. he left the area clean and neat returning all the items removed from under the sink

I called mid-day on a Saturday. They arranged for a plumber to come at 5:00. Since they're business hours were listed as extended I made the assumption that if there would be extra charges for the weekend it would have been mentioned. But regardless of that I called back after 6 when we hadn't heard anything yet and they said he would be here by about 7. When we still hadn't heard anything at 8:00 I called again. The dispatcher put me on hold so she could talk to the plumber. He came on the line after a while and it was really awkward since I didn't expect to just be put through to him directly. And it seemed like he didn't know who was calling him. But then he told me that he'd never gotten dispatched to us and this was the first he was hearing about it. He proceeded to tell me that since it was after hours it would be additional fees and time and a half. Well, we could've gotten that from anyone 8 hours ago! I called the dispatcher back to complain and she told me that these costs would have been the case no matter what since anything after 4 would have been that. Well, they could've told me that when I called the first time! At this point I was so frustrated that I didn't want to deal with them any more. And since we were going to have to pay for weekend service no matter who we called there was no benefit in dealing with them so I just told them to forget it.

1) overcharged for services 2) when repairs were reviewed by our project manager they were frequently found to be done incorrectly 3) didn't follow thru with completing jobs we approved 4) repairs they performed didn't always solve the problem; would then charge to go back out and to fix them again

Scheduled service next day at my convenience. Saul arrived promptly during promised time and fixed the spigot quickly. Will hire again.

He took my coupon and that wasn't the problem. I ended up fixing the toilet myself. He did not fix the problem. It was, like, $87, but they took the coupon anyway. I don't know what the price would be to fix a leaky toilet. They were right on time. What kind of like made me mad, is, like, he talked to my neighbor across the street who used to be a plumber. He probably spent more time talking to him than he did in my house. I thought that was kind of unprofessional too. You know, like, they were out in front of my house. They were laughing. I don't know if they were laughing because of my situation. All he did was, like, adjust the float. That wasn't it, it was the flapper. I just went to a home improvement store, got the part and replaced it. That was fine, that fixed the toilet.

Plumb Tite advertises "Absolutely No Service Charge" but when the tech was finished with his initial call, he charged me $85.00. I asked what the charges was for and he said it was to look at the hot water tank and diagnose the issue. He also said it was to investigate where to buy the part (however, he wanted me to purchase it and suggested that I look at Amazon). At no point during his initial visit did he say that there would be a charge until he was ready to leave. I paid and never had him back.

Things went very well. He explained what he was doing and left no mess!

The three positives were the punctuality, professionalism and quality of work. The sink took about an 30-45 minutes to fix. I don't like the fact they say they don't charge for a service call, when it is obviously included in the final bill once the estimate is approved by the customer. I got charged $176 to fix the clog. The plumber did show me the price before beginning the work, which I appreciated. But since the final invoice had no breakdown of why it cost $176 for 30-45 minutes of work, I can only conclude that a service charge was included in the bill. I don't know because again there was no breakdown of the final invoice. I did have a $50 Angie's List coupon, which helped knock the price down to $126. That price is more realistic. The $176 I thought was too high. One other thing. I was given an Angie's List survey to fill out after the service was completed (while the technician was still there). Very awkward. I would have rather filled it out later or online. As a mentioned earlier the punctuality, professionalism and quality of work was excellent. I do not like how you do the pricing and feel overall it is too pricey.

Excellent - Bobby arrived on time, was thorough and professional. He did the work, brought me up to show me any concerns or issues, and was neat and respectful during the entire process. I have had some bad experiences recently with contractors and it is nice that I have found someone. I will use them again in the future.

We have used Plumb Tite several times and they are excellent. We have used them for plumbing issues, garbage disposal problems, hot water tank issues and more. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, considerate and efficient. What more could you ask for. I believe they are somewhat more competitive in their pricing than others we have tried. I refer them to anyone in need of their services. They are available 24/7 and there is never a service charge! Kevin W. is an asset to the company.

Kevin the plumber came out on a Sunday morning to stop the leak and give estimate for new equipment. Returned on Tues, June 7 to install. His work is clean, precise and well thought out. He took time to patiently explain the new system to me and answered all my questions and concerns.

They came to clear a drain for me. After 5 minutes or less in the bathroom, they told me they would have to tear out the cabinet and walk behind the cabinet and toilet and replace pipes. They further stated they aren't responsible for putting the items back or repairing the wall. They quoted $1300. I said I'd have to wait. Yesterday I called Rotor Rooter and they cleared the drain (didn't remove any fixtures or out any holes in the wall), took the drain apart and cleaned it out and it cost me a mere $224. Good thing I didn't feel confident in Plumb Tite's diagnosis.

Great, there were complications that they handled until all work was complete they went over and above.

It turned out well. He did a good job. He was quite expensive. I paid $175 on top of that. He did a fine job. I would probably not use them again because of the cost. It seemed that it was very high priced because it doesn't take that long to install the faucet. He spent an hour here.

Excellent experience Kevin called whom he has ½ hr away. Very knowledgeable and personable. Job done at a fair price I will definitely use Plumb Tite again.

They were prompt and, like I said, they couldn't really find it. They guestimated, but really did not know for sure. I called somebody else and got it taken care of. It was just a service call.

The techs called and stated about a 20 minute lead time. They were here in about 15! Upon arriving they were very courteous. Introduced themselves and proved credentials. They treated my home with respect and wore slippers on their boots the entire time. They were cordial to our dog who LOVES company. After a few minutes of showing them what I wanted, they got straight to work. I already had all the parts so there was no time wasted. I got a $50 credit for $100 worth of work. My bill was $270 less the $100 credit. The techs didn't give me the run around. Didn't try to over sell and did outstanding work. I would recommend Plumb Tite to anyone looking for plumbing work. Do your self a favor and search them down. Get an Angie's List deal! It is the only way to go these days. Plumb Tite called me ASAP when I scheduled...and that was super easy. They had time and understood my issues. They called again right after the techs left and then again to insure my happiness. They also deal with email conversations which is great these days. They followed up with two emails as well as the phone calls. Can say enough about Plumb Tite!
