Pete Arnold & Co Painting Contractors LTD

Pete Arnold was very professional and responsive from the beginning. He provided a written estimate within a week of our phone call. He also made adjustments to the estimate based on our specific requests and needs. He was very upfront about changes and the effect on the cost. We signed the estimate in June, and he scheduled the work to begin in late July. During that time, he worked with us to select color choices and provide unbiased opinions about color choices. Work 2 weeks later than scheduled, primarily because we couldn't decide what colors we wanted. His crew started work each day before 8am, cleaned up each day, and was very unobtrusive. The work was completed in 3 days. He also worked with us each day to make sure we were happy with the quality and progress. He was happy to make adjustments (additions or subtractions) to the job based on our preferences. We have been impressed with the quality of the work and would happily use him again in the future.

When we originally asked about doing the deck, I never received a definitive answer; so I didn't pursue it with him; we hired another company for that service. I was very disappointed with the overall service this company provided to us and I feel it is very important for others to know the experience we had with them, because I do not want anyone else to go through what we did. They are very unprofessional, and they have with minimal follow through.

They had to paint stucco and wood. We think they did a great job. They were a courteous and respectful bunch, and returned our phone calls. They were easy to work with. I thought the price was well worth the service. They came early, and stayed late if they needed to.

I got an estimate from 3 companies on Angie's List. Pete sent me an estimate, detailing what he would do and for how much. He said it would be about 6 to 8 weeks. I got the colors for him. He called and set up the time to come out. They were done in 2 days. They used the best quality paint, Sherwin Williams paint. It looks wonderful, no drips, no bad spots. Excellent work.

They were great to work with. They were prompt when calling me back for estimate. They told us when they would be able to complete the work and they were ahead of this. They were very hard working and they completed the job in one day. I also received a thank you card after the work was done.

The quality of work was great. They got the whole job done in a day. They did pretty good work and and I would recommend them to other people. I thought that the pricing was very fair.

I picked Pete's company to paint our house exterior based on recommendations from Angie's List. This is a contractor you can call if you are really busy and can't take time off from work to meet. I have never met Pete and barely saw his crew. All communication was either handled by phone or mail including the estimate, paint colors, and job specifications. His crew came when he said they would and did a wonderful job. When rain delayed the job, he called to let us know when to expect completion. Well painted and all cleaned up. He called when the work was complete to ask if everything was satisfactory, and he sent a thank you note on the receipt of my payment. We will be using this company again for interior work.

His estimate was the most reasonable. He followed up. He was extremely conscientious. He called me several times prior to the work, to make sure I was positive as to what I wanted to do. He went to different paint companies to make sure he got what I wanted. His men were very professional. They did the work in the time we asked.

He was exceptional. He came in with information about his insurance and papers that would pertain to anything happening on our property. He was there on time. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was one of the finest servicemen we have ever had work for us. He was very well prepared. At the end of the visit he sent us a personal thank you letter. We would recommend him and we would never call anyone else.

The job turned out better than I thought it would. They did excellent work. I was very pleased.

Mr. Arnold's crew arrived on the day expected and finished the work on time, despite it being the hottest days of the year. They left some paint chips scattered in the yard, but the transformation in the appearance of our house was well worth it.

Excellent. They did good work, and it was quick. When we pointed out areas that needed more scraping or paint, Pete happily took care of it.

We called Pete and he set up an estimate within the week. We got three estimates and Pete's was over $2000 less than the next lowest estimate. The team showed up on time every day and completed the work within a week. Very professional, excellent work. We'd definitely hire them again.

Pete came out do give two bids (one also for the inside of our basement) and was able to turn a bid around for both jobs very quickly. His crew came out the next week and completed the garage painting; it was a great job for a very fair price. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Pete did work for us once before and we were quick to call him back when our basement was finished. He returned our call the same day, and was out to give us a bid within 36 hours. The bid was right where we expected based on our experience and speaking with a few other companies. He was able to meet our target date for completion with time to spare. I never had to call to find out when he would be starting the job, as Pete kept us informed on his timeline based on his other workload. Just an overall delight to work with, I wish all contractors were that honest, reliable and genuinely concerned about my satisfaction!

Workers/ painters were very professional, they were kind and courteous, mindful of cleaning up absolutely everything when completed. Workers were very efficiently and had everything, they needed to do job. Pete Arnold also was in touch with them throughout the day. He even called me to be sure I inspected it before they left.

It couldn't have gone better. Pete was on top of things 100%. He and his crew were very professional.

Pete is super. He really knows his paint and I would have been very comfortable having him paint our house. However, we had a quote from another company which was 20+% lower, so I went with the other company. I would have Pete quote other jobs.

He was very good, had good follow up, and attention to customer satisfaction.

Extremely impressed with Pete Arnold and Co. They were VERY professional, thorough, and polite. Each person on the job site fit this description. I felt comfortable leaving them at the house. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone. In short, Pete Arnold did the work he promised on schedule and without any errors. A+ job all around.

They performed the work while we were on vacation. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism, how they cleaned everything up, and the overall experience. Would highly recommend this company to everyone I know!!!!

Pete, was very good about explaining the work and returning phone calls. He had his crew show up on time the day he said they would show up.

PETE ARNOLD CAME OUT AS SOON AS I CALLED AND EXPLAINED THAT THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO BE CAUSED BY DETERIORATION IN THE WOOD. NEVER THE LESS HE SENT HIS CREW OUT TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM AND EVEN PAINTED A COUPLE MORE THINGS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL PRICE. HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. WE ANTICIPATE USING HIM AGAIN FOR INTERIOR PAINTING.

PETE HIMSELF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. HIS CREW WAS PRETTY GOOD, ARRIVING AT A DECENT HOUR EVERYDAY AND PUTTING IN A LONG DAY. THE PAINTERS DIDN'T DO A LOT OF PREP WORK, SUCH AS CLEANING OFF WINDOW SILLS, ETC. TO PREPARE THE SURFACE FOR PAINT, BUT THE JOB TURNED OUT WELL. WE DID HAVE A PROBLEM AT THE END WHERE A LARGE AMOUNT OF DECK STAIN WAS SPLATTERED ON OUR CARPET INSIDE. WHILE THE PAINTERS DIDN'T MENTION IT TO US (WE ACTUALLY FOUND THE STAIN UNDER A BOX), PETE WAS REALLY PROFESSIONAL ABOUT GETTING OUR CARPET CLEANED AND MAKING SURE THAT WE WERE SATISFIED CUSTOMERS. OVERALL IT WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.

THIS CONTRACTOR NEVER BOTHERED TO RETURN MY PHONE CALL, SO I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE A GOOD CONTRACTOR OR NOT. LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THEM TO CALL DURING A WEEK THAT I WAS ON VACATION. WE DO HAVE AN ANSWERING MACHINE AS WELL.
