Pete's crew did a great job on my house. They were courteous and professional. Even finished the job a little earlier than scheduled. Quality of work was good.

Pete has done several painting projects for us, including ceilings in basement & main floor, basement walls and most recently the exterior of our home. He has always been very timely with his response/communications before, during & after projects. Workers have been conscientious and clean up after has been very good. Any touch ups needed were readily completed upon request. Would recommend him to others.

Pete came out to review the job and provide an estimate. While he was not the lowest bid, I felt comfortable with him and confident it would be done right based on all of the online reviews. He fit me in within 6 weeks of accepting the proposal. It was a one-man show to complete the job - a painter named Scott was out early every day and worked through 90+ degree heat to finish the job in 10 days or so. He even asked permission to come back on a weekend. He was detailed, thorough, and friendly, and I was impressed with how hard he worked in the heat. We are satisfied with the results and would hire again.

Pete and his team did a great job repainting our screened in porch. They were very timely and did an excellent job communicating logistics. We would definitely use them again!

I called numerous times to have this company come out and complete work, but always got his voicemail and he never returned my phone call. That's great if he's too busy to take on new work, but extremely unprofessional to not even return a phone call. I would definitely NOT recommend or hire you for any of my projects.

Prompt, courteous and reasonably priced would be a glowing enough review for painting contractors these days it seems, but these guys went above and beyond- they actually did a little more than expected (or was quoted) to make sure we were happy. Our home was a tedious job, with some intricate areas, and they handled it with excellence. Highly recommend for any job and we will be using them again.

I have a large house with a ton of trim and 100 year-old windows that required a lot of prep. Pete Arnold & Co did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier. The crew was courteous and informative. They worked long days to get my job completed as quickly as possible. I highly recommend this company.

The primary reason for writing this review is to explain just how committed Pete and his crew are to customer service. Yes they arrived on time, yes they were reasonably priced, yes they painted the house and yes they completed the job on budget; but, the true test of how a project goes is if there are problems how the contractor responds. We had a couple of issues that were discovered nearly a year after they initially completed the project. When Pete learned of the issues, he immediately called me to discuss how he could resolve the issues. Within two days (excluding the raining ones!) he had his people at my house to address the issues we discussed. They corrected them quickly and to a superior result. I would (and have) recommended Pete and his team to my neighbors and friends.

I was very satisfied, Workers were professional and answered all my questions. When the job was completed we walked the entire house for any concerns or questions I will continue to use this company with future painting needs

While I had received one lower bid, I chose Pete based on reviews and reputation for quality. He lived up to that reputation and several neighbors have complimented the work. His team was very professional and hard working. I initially tried to squeeze this in late fall and pestered Pete every time the weather was 45 degrees this winter but he told me the job would be better done once spring temperatures arrived. He was right and I am glad he slowed me down.

Pete and his team did as has always done an outstanding job for me.They are there when they said they would, do quality work on time and on budget and leave the jobs site with everything neat organized. wouldn't use anybody else and my friend that has used him all say the same.

The lower unit of my rental property was in desperate need of updating. The bones were great, but many of the rooms were still covered in their original floral wallpaper and the more I began planning the repainting process, I realized it was going to take me a great deal of time give the unit new life. After searching Angie's list I found Pete. He was very responsive and had the job complete quick and professional. While I have the ability to paint walls and trim (and I historically have done them on my own) the time it takes me compared to the time in which Pete and his team complete the project, makes this a no-brainer. Fair pricing and quick, high quality work make working with Pete easy. Thanks Pete! P.S. While "before" pictures could have helped show the change Pete's work had on the place, I do not have any. Just picture floral wallpaper in a deep forest green color, then borders of more floral wall paper in deep navy blues, then in the bathroom a combination of forest green and red that made it feel like a small closet. The "after" pictures show how clean, fresh, and open the unit now is and feels!

Our whole house was thoroughly prepped and beautifully painted in no time. The large crew was so professional and worked so efficiently together, we couldn't believe how quickly they completed the work. Everyone was so friendly and polite, and they even preserved my daffodils and tulips which were planted close to the house. The colors were perfect, and the details looked great.

I contacted Pete in the winter knowing this was an exterior job that wouldn’t get attention until the weather cleared, but wanted it attended to as quickly as the weather would allow so it did not get any worse or result in wood damage. As promised, Pete called me in mid-April and asked if he could come the next day as the weather was forecasted for two “nice” days before another round of rain and cold. Painters arrived as promised, work was completed in two days - and painters even wiped down my gutters while they were cleaning the wood areas prior to painting!

We had the exterior trim, down spouts and gutters scraped, caulked and repainted. We are happy with the finished project. Pete responded to my texts quickly and in a professional manner.

Pete was very prompt in getting back to me after my initial inquiry and was also timely with getting a quote and having a crew begin the job. Brian and Dave were professional and paid close attention to every detail. Also, the quote Pete provided was almost half the price of another quote offered by a competitor...which I should mention that this business waited 2 weeks to provide even the quote to us. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend them.

everything was fine. they cleaned up after they were done. No problems as we found additional areas i forgot about.

Very well. Pete responded in a timely manner at all times and when weather wasn't cooperating, he let me know when they wouldn't be working. Painting crew was friendly and professional and kept me informed of progress and any issues they found. They protected carpeted area on breezeway and cleaned up any drips on windows and concrete surfaces. I was pleased with the results and would recommend Pete.

They did a really nice job. Painted trim, doors, &deck. Everything looks great, and they left the yard tidy.

Pete Arnold & Company did an outstanding job painting the exterior of our house. We changed the color scheme and it was a big transformation. The quality of the work was excellent! Matt, Dillon, and their crew were on time every day and were very professional. We made several additions or changes to the work as it progressed, and they were very flexible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this company.

Great experience from the first phone call to arrange an estimate to the painters' last swipe of the brush. Had the entire exterior of 1950s wood & block ranch painted and one rotten-wood window frame replaced. Called in March to schedule an October job. Pete explained everything and answered my 20 questions during the estimate walk-around. Randy and Tony arrived in October to start the job with pressure washing. From there, Randy & Tony were dedicated to doing the best job from scraping, patching, caulking, and sanding to the actual painting of a bold body color and white trim. The job took two weeks and the guys cleaned up after themselves every evening. Randy and Tony were pleasant, professional, and very competent. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

Pete and his painting crew were very professional from start to finish. Once the job had begun they were very good in communicating to me how it was progressing, and they set my expectations accurately and upfront. At the end of the job, I had one hiccup that I discussed with Pete, and he handled it very well and to my satisfaction. Mistakes happen, we're only human, right? I have always found that you can really find out the true nature and character of an organization when something doesn't go according to plan. In this instance, I was very happy with how my concern was resolved and they passed my test with flying colors. I would absolutely recommend Pete and his crew to anyone looking for a high quality paint job at a reasonable price.

Pete and his crews are very professional. They arrived on time and did a good job painting our wood siding. They power-washed the siding in a rainy day, so they were not able to use their vacuum to clean up the loose paint. However, they did a good job cleaning even though they knew they could leave it there and clean it up when they paint. There were no drops on the roof or the walls and the ground was tidy. Randy even got rid of some marks from last time the house was painted. They know about exterior painting and explained the reasons why they do or not do certain things. You can tell they care about the job. They know each job will help them get the next one. They evaluated their own work and reworked parts that didn't look right (e.g., they painted again some boards that have a rougher surface than others to achieve a unified look). They did a good amount of prep work including scraping, scrubbing and filling the cracks/holes. They smoothed out some parts in high traffic areas so the "alligator paint" won't jump at you. Other places are too high up or too far away to be noticeable. Adjust your expectations (and budget) if this is an annoyance to you. Overall we are very satisfied with Pete and his crew and would recommend them.
