 + -1 moreService call was completed the same day I called. Bat was carefully removed for relocation to a distant woods. Outside of dwelling including roof was inspected for additional bats (none found) and for sites that might provide nesting or access points (none found). Valuable background information was also given on the characteristics and behavior of bats. Overall, this was a very satisfactory and reassuring service call, as was a similar bat removal by the same company four years ago.
Description of Work: Removal and relocation of bat hanging on outside brick wall of house near soffit.

Description of Work: We had evidence of a raccoon and mice in our attic. Gary came out and evaluated the area and proposed remediation. We hired him to remove the insulation that was damaged by feces and urine, sanitize the attic and replace the damaged insulation.

Description of Work: They removed all the contamination from a raccoon problem I had, as well as sanitizing the area and replacing the insulation.

 + -1 moreIn July I was hospitalized and came home to find out a squirrel was in our attic. I called Gary because we had used him before. He came out that same day and set the trap. It was such a relief because I was sick and knowing that the squirrel was in our attic was stressing me out a lot. Two days later the trap was tripped but the squirrel was not in it. Gary came out numerous times to reset the trap and then put an extra trap on the roof. He even came out on a Saturday. Once the squirrel was trapped, he fixed the damage and the opening. I am so grateful to Gary because he was so nice to me when I was sick. He wanted to remove the squirrel for me because he knew it was a stress for me. He has even followed up by calling me to see how my recovery is going. Gary is a very compassionate person to animals and people. He does a great job.
Description of Work: Trapped and removed a squirrel. Repaired damage to wood and sealed the opening.

 + -1 moreI called on a Thursday, and left a voicemail. I received a call back on Friday afternoon. I just barely missed the call and called back immediately, within one minute of missing the phone call. It went to voicemail. I assumed they were probably on the phone with someone else. So, I called back a little later and left another voicemail. It has been one week and they never called me back. So, I've moved on to another provided who has been much more responsive. Based on their feedback on here, I'm sure they do good work...if you can get a hold of them.

 + -1 moreOverall, I was very satisfied. I did not ask for same day service when I called. We agreed to meet a couple of days later and Gary arrived on time. I explained situation, where I had seen groundhog and traps were set. The first night a trap was sprung, but nothing was caught --- they came that day and reset the traps. The second night, a raccoon was caught. I called that morning and they came and removed the animal, and reset the traps. The trap was sprung again and they came to reset it. On the fifth night the groundhog was trapped and removed. We left the traps in place to insure there was only one groundhog --- after a couple of days, another raccoon was caught, so we picked up the traps. Gary always answered the phone when I called each day, or returned my call very shortly thereafter. They came every day there was a need. My experience was very positive and I will use them again if the need arises.
Description of Work: I had a groundhog living under ground level deck. They caught the groundhog, as well as two raccoons that got into traps as part of the process.

 + -1 moreVery professional, punctual and prompt service. No animal was trapped, but Gary mentioned that if I spot the animal again within 30-days, they cover it within the same service call charges. Reassuring at least. Follow-up in 2014: When the raccoon came back again, it laid babies my attic. The raccoon family was staying in the attic for more than couple of months. Gary came in dozens of times to remedy the situation, by spraying eviction fluid, setting traps, and setting up radio and lights in the attic to scare the animals away. He did not charge any extra money for the 2nd service call even though it was 30 days after the first one. He even sealed the raccoon entry point and other possible entry points. Excellent service and very friendly response.
Description of Work: Gary and his son inspected my roof and house for animal entry and found that a raccoon was getting in. They setup a trap to catch the critter, and followed up regularly. Gary even came in on Christmas Day to let a stray cat which got trapped. Inspected the attic and house exteriors for damage. Follow-up in 2014: When the raccoon came back again, it laid babies my attic. The raccoon family was staying in the attic for more than couple of months and Gary came in dozens of times to remedy the situation.

 + -1 moreGary answered my call the same day and scheduled an appt. with me for the next day. When he was running late, he called me ahead to alert me. He set up a trap, told me to call him anytime of night or day when one was trapped. By 7:30 in the evening the critter was locked safely in the cage, I called him, and it was picked up the next afternoon. If no more critters come out of the den, I plan to have him place a grate on the deck to prevent further animal guests.
Description of Work: Trapped and removed a raccoon from its den under my front deck.

After doing an inspection on our attic, they took the time to look throughout our property inside and out to help us find the problem areas, but they took the extra time to explain best options to proceed for each trouble spot. I would recommend them to anyone looking for some assistance with extermination of any kind.

Description of Work: Set traps for, and removed raccoons from my attic. Placed roof patching to temporarily repair the hole left in my roof by the racoons. Recommended a roofing company for carrying out more permanent roof repairs, and for replacing damaged insulation in my attic. Provided detailed photographs of the damage done by the racoons for presentation to my Insurance company.

Description of Work: An animal came down my chimney on Sunday night, 01/06. After verifying that it was a raccoon, I called Pesky Critter Removal on Tuesday, 01/08, at 3:38 pm. They called me back on Wednesday, at about 12:30 pm and came by to investigate as promised in the afternoon. They set up a trap in the basement and on the roof after determining from the roof that there was a raccoon at the bottom of my chimney. The trap in the basement was first set up, because it was thought that the raccoon could still be in the basement or behind a wall. We also agreed that a chimney cap should be installed after the raccoon was trapped, and there was assurance that there was no other raccoon in my basement. On Wednesday, 01/09, I observed a raccoon caught in the trap on the roof and called Pesky Critter to let them know at about 8:00 am. They promised to come by an pick up the raccoon and install a chimney cap. They called me back and came Wednesday afternoon, 01/09, removed the trapped raccoon, removed the empty trap from the basement, and installed a chimney cap. They assured me that they had caught all of the critters, which was a young male raccoon. This was critical to me, because I was planning to leave on a trip within about a week. They were right . No further raccoon problem! I left on my trip , returned and went on another trip since then with no further problem. They price that they quoted me for the number of visits, animals caught and for the installed chimney cap was the price I paid for their excellent services.

Description of Work: I contacted this company and several others, regarding raccoons in my attic. They responded immediately, and with the most reasonable fees in the area. Corey was extremely knowledgeable about the behavior of the animals, and discussed options with me. He placed traps and followed up promptly. Within a few days, my home was critter-free!

Upon first contacting the company, Gary was out about four hours later and surveyed the chimney, the yard, and possible entry and exits. He set traps after educating me about the habits of the critters. He returned several times as the individual raccoons were captured. I communicated with him promptly to make sure the animals were removed without too much distress. I was very impressed with his humane handling and removal of the raccoons. He is very knowledgable and easy to work with.

 + 1 moreWe caught a raccoon 2 nights after they came out to set the trap. They were very good about picking it up in a timely manner.
Description of Work: First time I called Gary and Corey was a month after I bought my house and had raccoons in my chimney. I called them and they came out the next day. Never had critters before and they were very thorough inspecting the entire exterior of the house and in the attic. I called for another issue I had to get squirrels out of my attic and I didn't feel like I got the service I should have. They set up traps but didn't even get into the attic to check to see if anything was up there. After a couple days we didn't hear anything moving in the attic and called to tell him that. I was concerned about the hole in the roof that the squirrels opened up. I wanted them to repair the hole. They said that they did but now it's a month later and I have squirrels in my attic yet again. I can see that they are getting in the same way they were the last time and it doesn't look like the repair was done well. I contacted another Animal Removal company to come and look this time. I just want to stop paying for traps and getting no results.

Description of Work: Squirrels were finding a home in my porch roof where the bead boards had come down. The company set a trap and a squirrel was caught within 36 hours. They came to collect it, set another trap, and another squirrel was caught within 24 hours. The price included a charge of $45 per animal removed.
