I needed an estimate for chimney repair. We set a date for the owner to examine the outside while I was at work, but it took a couple of weeks and several phone calls from me to find out if he had taken a look and come up with a number. The verbal estimate was approximately $1600 and I stated that I was happy with that number because I had just received a quote for $2000 from another company. However, when the written estimate arrived, I was surprised to see it come in at $1940. Needless to say, I did not and will not do business with this company.

The roofing seems fine, but there were several follow-up problems, mostly with gutters. He's been extraordinarily difficult to reach. Many messages unreturned. He did stop by once, promised to do some work, have been unable to reach him and haven't heard from him. He did seem very nice.
Description of Work: Put new roof on our house. Paid for by former owners as condition of sale. Relined box gutters.

ONCE WE GOT A DATE SET PALMER ROOFING WAS PUNCTUAL, WORKED VERY CLEAN. THERE WAS NOT EVEN A SHINGLE LAYING AROUND THE PROPERTY AFTER THEY WERE DONE. ENTIRE JOB WAS DONE IN THREE WORKING DAYS.
Description of Work: COMPLETE TEAR OFF OF ROOF, EXCEPT FOR THE RAFTERS, BRACING OF EXISTING RAFTERS, COVER ENTIRE ROOF WITH NEW PLY-WOOD, UNDERLAYMENT AND SHINGLES, INSTALLED ICE GUARD ALONG ALL GUTTER LINES, INSTALLED RIDGE VENT, COPPER FLASHING AROUND DORMER WALLS, CHIMNEY AND SKYLIGHT, AND CLEANED UP AND HAULED AWAY ALL DEBRIS.
