ONE HOUR AIR CONDITIONING

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning came out to my moms neighbor. Who is an elderly woman. All she wanted was a service on her Air Conditioning/ Heat unit. Well the guy Billy that came out told her ahead of time needed a new unit. Did not tell her what was wrong with her old unit but it had rust. Now she does not have email. But Billy set her up a Gmail account and applied for a loan for her with a high interest rate and conned her into signing it. He also did not give her a 3 day right to cancel. He stated that he does not have to and that is just a courtesy. Which is not true. They have very unethical business practices. They took advantage of a 76 year old woman. I have file complaints with the Attorney General and the FTC. Also contacted the Loan service company and they will not be charging her any interest. We did contact Billy at One Hour and he said to never call him again. Wanted to warn everyone about Billy’s business practices and praying on the elderly with Willis One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®

I purchased what I believed to be a maintenance contract, i.e. 2 system tune ups per year and preferentially scheduling . Which is actually cheaper and quicker in you purchase separate. My AC went down On Saturday evening and I attempted to reach someone on a 24/7 number. A recording that directs you to multiple departments, none of which are service. I reached a person on Sunday, a nice guy who told me it would be Wednesday before service could be provided...that's not preferencial treatment which again you lead to believe. If you read the small print it stipulates they define an emergency call, possible death is the language used I believe. I UTUBE it and fixed myself on Monday morning. I called the contract number to cancel the appointment but the same number reached no one so I left a return number but no call returned. I finally called the Willis number and reached someone to cancel. I was directed to Direct Energy and I asked to cancel the contract and received a 50% refund since they had provided only one tune up. Guess how that went. To sum it up I believe A) Willis technitions should not be selling contracts where you receive the details after you've agreed and paid. At a minimum they need better sales training. B) I believe Willis to be a good company with good people. I'm not sure if Willis or Direct Energy is the actual owners. C) DIRECT ENERGY IS A BAD COMPANY......READ THE FINE PRINT PRIOR TO ANY AGREEMENT
