Ohio Valley Pure Water

Everything went fine. Installation was quick and easy! (I had to leave my house by a certain time. He was very punctual to make sure I was able to leave on time) He explained how the system worked before he left.

OVPW installed a water softener and whole house filter about a year and a half ago. Last weekend we experienced a problem with the salt tank. I called Mike on Sunday evening, and he called me first thing Monday morning. He came out that same day (Labor Day no less) and fixed the problem right away?under warranty, so no charge! Great company, great service!

The owner and his employees are wonderful people, and we have had a very good experience with this company for the past several years. We rent our unit for approximately 20 dollars monthly. Given that maintenance, service calls, and filter replacement are included in this monthly cost, my wife and I felt this was the best option. The water is crisp and tasty, and the system suits our needs well. Overall, the best and most affordable RO company in the Cincinnati area. We recommend them hands down!

Ohio Valley Pure Water (Michael Noschang and his assistant were the installers) were outstanding in their service, interactions with me, knowledge of the products they installed and outstanding professionalism. I can see why they are so highly rated. The excellence goes beyond the people and also extends to the product value they give the customer. The soft water conditioner industry is loaded with distributors who approach their business like they are a stereotype used car salesman trying to extract as much as possible from the customer. So many customers in this industry end up with overpriced soft water conditioners and/or water filtration equipment. Ohio Valley Pure Water takes the opposite approach to what I just described. They sell a high quality soft water conditioner and reverse osmosis water filter at a very good price and you know the price right upfront. It is on the website. There is no sales gamesmanship like some of the other water companies me and friends I know have dealt with in the past. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a soft water conditioner and/or reverse osmosis water filter. You will not be sorry choosing this company.

Too expensive to have system serviced.

I switched to Ohio Valley Pure Water last year after a terrible experience with a different company. I was extremely pleased with the work they performed, and now, when I had some service that I needed, I can say without any doubt that this is the company I will use as long as I need a water softener. Mike is very professional, and has gone the extra mile for me both times he has been here. He noted a plumbing issue that my home has, and advised me that all of the plumbing would work better in the home with a pressure monitor. Mike is prompt, courteous, and very reasonable in his pricing. I would highly recommend Ohio Valley Pure Water!

Overall I was pleased with the cost and the service. Michael was very prompt in responding whenever I called him and explained in detail everything I needed to know about their products and services. He was totally no pressure as far as trying to make a sale. They are a family owned and run business and his father-in-law actually did my installation. He did a great job and was very friendly and was dressed very professionally. He had some difficulty getting the old unit up the stairs and outside but he worked hard and managed to get it done. I would definitely recommend Ohio Valley Pure Water based on my experience.

Mike was very responsive when I originally inquired about the services, and continued to follow-up. Wardell did the install and he was very polite & professional. The installation went very smoothly. Ohio Valley Pure Water is a one-stop shop. I looked into purchasing the softener & reverse-osmosis system separately & contracting out the installation (ie, purchasing at Lowe's & then using one of their contractors). It was much simpler and much more cost effective to use Mike & his team. I couldn't be more pleased with the price & professionalism. Highly recommend.

During the consultation, I explained that I didn't want my sink in the basement blocked by the unit. I was assured that the unit could go behind the door and not block the sink. Prior to the installation, I explained to the installer that the unit is going behind the door. However, the unit was not placed behind the door, and the installer told me that the unit could not go behind the door but that I could remove the door so that the unit could be moved back from the sink. So now I have a unit blocking my sink which I'm not happy about. 5/27/2014 - The issue has been remedied. Mike called, emailed, even texted me to rectify the placement of the unit. VERY happy to report that the unit is behind the door as we first discussed, and my sink is no longer blocked. All is well!!

This review has been a long time coming. Mike is so responsive and professional with reasonable prices. He installed all of our systems and we have him set up yearly to perform maintenance. I just had an issue and he came out the same afternoon (see above) and resolved it. There was no charge. Now that is customer service and standing behind your work which is rare these days. I would recommend Mike to anyone!

We called Michael late on a Friday afternoon and received a return call within 30 minutes. He gave us a price, answered all our questions and mailed us literature the same day. We received our literature on Monday, he came out to speak with us on Tuesday and the system was installed on Thursday. The whole process went very smooth. The installer was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job of explaining everything we needed to know about the systems and cleaned up the work area afterwards. He carried our old unit out to the garage for us so we could dispose of it on garbage day. I would highly recommend this company.

Mike (the owner of the company) first came out to meet with us, and showed us his products. We had a very old water softener from another company (which was much more expensive) previously. He was very helpful and forthright in answering our questions. We've been through many high-pressure sales pitches in the past, and it was very refreshing to meet with Mike. There was no pressure at all. Mike arrived timely, and looked at our old system. He was very up front about pricing, and we didn't have to negotiate or haggle about the cost. He didn't pressure us at all that evening, and we said we wanted to think about it before deciding whether to purchase from his company. We contacted the company that installed the old softener, and they wanted $3,400 just to replace the softener alone (and that system did not have the capacity that the one Mike showed us had). We contacted Mike 2 days later, and ordered the water softener, whole house carbon filter and reverse osmosis system. We scheduled the installation within a week. Mike and his father-in-law arrived right on schedule, and installed everything in about 2 1/2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves, and everything works wonderfully. It's been almost 2 weeks now, and the dry skin our family suffered with all winter long is now a thing of the past! We absolutely love the reverse osmosis system. Since it was installed, we've both noticed that we're drinking a lot more pure water, and a lot less soda. We highly recommend Ohio Valley Pure Water!

after I submitted a request for Ohio Valley to contact me, I received a call within 24 hours of my internet submission for more information. Mike set up an appointment to come out to see what I wanted and/or needed, came on time, was very professional and detailed in explaining what they do and helped me determine what I needed......set up an installation time, came and did the job and did it right the first time! Simply stated, with all the choices we have from a product standpoint and from an unending list of potential contractors to do the work, I walked away from this experience knowing in my heart that I just did business with a hard working and honest small businessman who delivered everything he promised. Good Job!!

A wonderful experience. The scheduling and completion were very quick. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. Filtration system work very well and has allowed me to sleep easier knowing the problem stuff was being removed from the drinking water. Post-installation questions are welcomed and shows a rare regard for continued customer service.

The company was great! The owner (family business) came out promptly to give estimate and see what installation was necessary. The were able to install the units and give detailed information as to what was done. Then they explained what further attention would be required to keep the units operating efficiently! The company also services their equipment yearly. They had terrific customer service. I highly recommend!
