+ -1 moreUpon opening a bag of mulch, it was black and of low quality. It didn't not look at all like the store sample. I returned it to the store for a refund. I was given my money back and told a gentlemen would be around to unload the mulch if I pulled my car around. The man walked up and argued about the color. When I insisted that the quality was also issue, he became upset and walked away without unloading the mulch. I had to unload the 20 bags without assistance. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years but I won't be back.
Description of Work: Bought 20 bags of mulch. Was assured that the mulch was brown in color and good quality.

Description of Work: I picked up 1 1/2 cu yrds of topsoil. The employees are all young and appear to know what they are doing/talking about; however they have very little customer service skills. I have purchase eight loads of mulch and this trip was my fifth load of Dort from them. It never fails I pay and then pull my truck around to be loaded. every time something is wrong and I sit in my truck for at least 15 min before I get out and go inside to find someone to use the bobcat to load me up. They just don't have enough supervision for the young people trying to run the place. They need a manager on site that can keep thing running smoothly. This last trip, I witnessed a customer talk the bobcat driver into loading a small garden trailer with a full scoop of dirt. Naturally the young man working the bobcat was reluctant; however he did it anyway because the customer said it could take it. Naturally the wheel bent sideways and the trailer hit the ground. The customer had to use a shovel to unload an entire scoop of dirt while blocking the dirt pile. This created the backup and waiting. Ok, this was the customers fault, but the employee who obviously new better could have refused siting safety concerns. I wasted at least an hour waiting for the customer to clear his trailer before I could get dirt. Stuff like this happens every time I'm there. They have good product and the employees are decent people, they just need some better management to keep things running smoothly.

+ -1 moreThe had a lower and more reasonable delivery cost. A question arose on the delivery day and the manager at the office was extremely responsive and took it upon himself to follow up. The delivery crew was also very friendly. Overall, a very positive experience. Cost was fair, but a tad higher than most.

+ -1 moreWent well. went to store to check out the different kinds of mulch they had. Chose the Absolute Black fine. It was $30/yard which was a good price, but what sold me was the $19 delivery charge. That is the least expensive delivery charge I have yet to find by a longshot. I live close, and charges very by distance, so it will cost more the further they have to go. day of the delivery they had told me it would come late. at 8pm I called and said I knew they said late, but how late?? They had a drive get sick, but they worked hard to get my mulch to me that night 9pm. I was thankful.
Description of Work: Ordered 2 yards of Absolute Black Fine Bulk Mulch delivered to my house. The Absolute Black Fine mulch is one of their higher end mulches.
