Wonderful! Neiman scheduled an appointment during the time frame I asked, and rescheduled it the day before with no problem! Also, the plumber had to order a part, and he came back later than usual, at my request, to install it, no problem. Very professional staff and great work.

They did not come to do the work

Roto Rooter stated that we would need to have the front yard dug up to clear the roots in order for appropriate drainage from home to sewer. Called 2 other companies for opinions. Both companies said the job could be accomplished by removing roots rather than excavation. Both companies gave estimates of approx. $300. Joe from Nieman was ready to go ahead and do the job at the time he gave the estimate. He started the job and was finished within 2 hours. VERY HAPPY with results!

AJ was somewhat difficult to reach, but I believe he was having phone system issues at the time. Once contacted, he came fairly quickly to assess the work and provided an oral estimate range. He later followed up with a written estimate that was somewhat higher than the range initially provided, but not excessively. The bid was in the range of the open trenching bids I had received earlier. I prefer directional boring to open trenching, as it leaves much less damage to the yard and requires much less repair work to the landscaping. Ultimately, I went with another very good directional bore company whose bid was better. However, I saw nothing that would have prevented me from hiring AJ's company under other circumstances.

From the first time I used Nieman Plumbing it has been very professional. They arrived on time and answered all my questions. I highly recommend their service. Since they were able to take care of my toilet leak where as two other plumbers could not fix it, I have used them for many other jobs and have never had any problems.

Their work was cleaner and looked more professional than the original worker. The piping was for a shower and was somewhat complicated with several temp valves and a flow control valve.

We have used Nieman before and while they are expensive, they were traditionally reliable. This time, Nieman sent their plumber to complete quote, and we never heard back from them. We called their office on 3 different occasions to get the formal quote and schedule the work, and each time - the very nice lady who answered the phone said she would get the information from the gentleman and send us the quote. After 3 requests for the amount, we gave up asking and found another company to complete the work.

They came when I called. They got the job done on time and within their deadline time. I am very pleased with their service. I would definitely use their service in the future too.

I was very pleased with the plumber that came out but I don't remember his name. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He gave me some tips on caring for my Jacuzzi tub - particularly on what products to use to clean the pipes (purge the tub). It was much better information than what the manual provided. As a matter of fact, years ago, I received a notice of a class action lawsuit against Jacuzzi for inadequate instructions provided for cleaning/purging the tub. I thought the price seemed kind of high but they let me know what the charges would be upfront. I always think plumber's charges seem high but prices for everything seem pretty high these days and when I find a plumber that I trust, I'll stick with them. I don't think too many plumbers work on Jacuzzi tub pipes and this company was recommended in my instruction manual. Despite the "monopoly" they may have on this type of repair, I was impressed with the professionalism and the helpful tips provided.

My water heater died one evening. I called Neiman first thing the following morning, provided info on my current water heater, received a quote over the phone, and was able to make an appointment for later that afternoon. The plumber arrived promptly. The age of the old water heater and the tight space posed a little bit of a challenge, but the old heater was quickly wrestled out and the new one installed with a few small modifications to the existing connections. Price was the same as the quote without any surprise charges. This was my second positive experience with Neiman, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I ever have need of a plumber again.

This job was challenging because it involved a fixture from a German manufacturer, so obtaining parts was complicated, and the installation had to be fine-tuned. Through it all, Pam at Nieman was very responsive and helpful. The process took longer than either of us would have liked, and involved an extra service call, but I am very happy to have it all done, and would work with Nieman again in the future.

A plumber (Gene) arrived to assess problem same day as called (despite heavy snow). He seemed to be competent and conscientious. He drained septic tank that day, and returned next day to fix problem. His approach to the problem seemed more thorough than that of another plumber (from separate company) who provided assessment and estimate. He inspired greater confidence than the first plumber.

He hasn't done the work yet. We are scheduled to have the work done around Christmas. He's responsive and I liked the way that he looked at several different scenarios to come up with the best solution.

Great, I called them yesterday and they were able to schedule me for today between 8 & 10am. The man called at 7:50 an said he was on his way and would arrive in about 30 minutes. My doorbell rang @ 8:15 and he was prepared for work; pleasant to deal with and very courteous. I continue to call this company even though they seem a little more expensive then some of their peers. Their quality is consistently good and the people they send to my home always exceed my expectations. I will happily spend a little more to get a quality job and prompt service, they arrive when they say they'll arrive.

The water volume switch was broken, and they sent out a nice young man to take a look. He didn't have all of the parts he needed, and he broke one of the parts while he was removing it. They came back out with an older installer and fixed it. They did a fine job, but the whole bill came to $309. This was just to fix two switches. They charged $100 per hour, and only took 20 to 30 minutes each time they were out. I think the price was just too high to use them again.

We were very pleased with the work. They completed the work in a timely manner and were very respectful of our house and cleaning up after themselves. They were very professional and we would highly recommend them.

THE TOILET WAS REPAIRED AND WE EXPERIENCED NO MORE PROBLEMS. HE TOLD US THAT THE PROBLEM WITH THE SHOWER WAS IN THE TYPE OF SHOWER HEAD WE HAD INSTALLED. HE SAID HE COULD TAKE APART THE CONTROL FAUCET WHICH WOULD BE VERY EXPENSIVE AND PROBABLY NOT NECESSARY SINCE HE DID NOT THINK THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. HE SUGGESTED WE REPLACE THE SHOWER HEAD WITH A DIFFERENT TYPE THAT DID NOT HAVE A HISTORY OF PROBLEMS. IF THAT DIDN'T STOP THE LEAK THEY COULD COME BACK AND LOOK AT IT FURTHER. WE DID AND THAT TOOK CARE THE ISSUE. WE APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT HE GAVE US THAT RECOMMENDATION AND DIDN'T JUST 'TAKE US' FOR THE UNNECESSARY WORK.

THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND DO EXCELLENT WORK. THEY REALLY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO EXPLAIN THINGS AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORK. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

ONLY PROBLEM: INSTALLER DID NOT LEAVE ANY CARE INSTRUCTIONS, OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, OR WARRANTY INFO. WE CALLED TO REQUEST THIS MATERIAL, BUT NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING.

THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT OUT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND THEN IT TOOK THEM ANOTHER WEEK TO GET BACK TO US, BUT THEY DID DO GOOD WORK.
