Description of Work: Had to take computer in again within 2 wks after initial repair for problem getting on internet web sites. Dropped computer off and had to repeatedly call to find out what was going on with it. Finally able to pick it up after 5 days. When it was picked up they claimed the power cord was not dropped off with it but were willing to sell us another one for nearly double the price we were able to get one on the internet. Will not use again!

The Nerd Patrol is very professional and thorough. They always seem to find what is wrong with my computer and help me toward a resolution. Their prices are competitive.
Description of Work: My computer was getting the Microsoft "Blue Screen of Death" so I took it into The Nerd Patrol. They looked into the problem and recommended that I get a new video card. To save money I put the card in myself.

The tech was nice and honest. Showed up to the house about an hour after he said he would, but he did show up the same day we called. He did not bill for all the time he spent working on the computer, and the back-up of the data on my hard drive was extremely useful.
Description of Work: My computer crashed and wouldn't boot-up (would just boot-up to a blank screen). The tech came out to the house to repair the computer. After "quick-fix" didn't work he took it back to the shop to burn the hard drive to a disk, and recommended re-installing the operating system from scratch...the problem being the operating system was ME with a XP-upgrade. Therefore, both systems would have to be installed. The tech was honest with me and said the time to reinstall the two operating systems, would cost as much as buying a new computer. He gave me my computer back with a clean hard drive and DVD with back-up data, and instructed me on how to install the operating systems myself (pushing enter a lot of times).

STEVE CALLED AHEAD AND CAME EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED. HE WAS VERY NICE, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EFFICIENT. I'D CALL HIM BACK FOR ANY MAC ISSUES. (GOOD MAC SUPPORT CAN BE TOUGH TO FIND).
