The representative called and asked to reschedule the appointment, which was fine, but I felt rushed the whole time he was there. He was friendly enough, but seemed to be in a very big hurry and not overly attentive to our needs. While Murphy's solution will certainly work, their bid is the highest and leaves us with the detail work to finish afterwards. I can't say it was necessarily a "bad" experience, but not one that left me feeling competent about the job they would do. They are worth a call for your next project, however. Note: if you wish to contact them, do so by phone. It took almost a week for someone to respond to the inquiry submitted via their web site.

Got estimate in early June & was told work could start in 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted proposal in mid-June. Work was not started until mid-September after I called to ask why it was taking so long. Satisfied with work well done. Extra effort taken in some areas. Reinstalled gutter leaf guards without being asked (not in contract). Clean-up could have been better. Caulk flung on roof, deck & yard; bits of aluminum and vinyl & nails left in drive and grass. Would hire again but would not consider job finished until after better cleanup.

The work was done quickly and expertly. The installer cleaned up very well after himself. Our experience, from the estimate to the installation was very positive. All Murphy employees were generous with their advice, and never pressured us in any of our decision making. We are very pleased with their product and their work.

The work done on the main roof, which is a standard shingled roof, was acceptable. Work done on the flat portion of the roof was done poorly and looked terrible. It did not match the job as described in quote. Company returned to redo this portion of the work. Final job was acceptable. Job was completed late last year and I am still picking up nails and debris from my yard, patio, driveway, etc. Workers did a poor job of cleaning up at the end of the job and did not treat my property with respect. They showed up without scheduling the work. I returned home from work one day to find five guys had torn half of the existing roof off and were stacking shingles in an old truck parked in my driveway. Glad I didn't have plans or company coming! They used our trash cans to haul shingles around; ruining two containers. Company managers did respond to the problems, replaced my trash cans, and I am now satisfied with the work. It took 6 months to resolve the issues and complete the job.

Work was done fine. Siding was left a little messy and one piece came back out after repair. Minimum charge of $175 was not given over the phone as this was a very small job. Would use handyman in future for cheaper repairs on these items..

The installer was very efficient, on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself. The price was the lowest bid I received.

The installers were professional and courteous. The door looks and works great. We are very happy with it.

The new gutters look and work great. There was a problem with the porch gutter being too level and not draining well. The installer had no problems with checking the gutter out and getting it properly re-angled.

Brian the salesperson was laid back and professional. The installers were professional and did a great job. We are very happy with how our new windows look and work. No more drafts!

Brian the sales person was friendly and professional - not at all high-pressure. He was responsive to phone calls. The installers were conscientious and cleaned up well. There were a few details that needed to be finished up, it took them a few weeks to come back out but everything was finished to our satisfaction. We have had great comments from the neighbors on how nice the house looks.

The windows are great. They were very professional and on time. I had a problem with one window and they sent someone out that day to fix it.

Brian Kelly, our salesman, and Stewart, who was our installer, could not have been nicer, or more professional. We had used Murphy Home Improvement on some replacement windows and other home improvements we had done in the past, and choose Murphy again. The work was done on time, and with no surprises. We would be pleased to use them again in the future.

DID A REALLY GREAT JOB! MATCHED THE COLOR PERFECTLY. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH HIM AGAIN.

IT DID LEAK AND THEY CAME OUT TO FIX IT. I AM CALLING THEM AGAIN TO HAVE THEM COME AND FIX MY CEILING.

COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD AND QUICK TO RESPOND TO A QUOTE REQUEST. REP WAS GOOD AT BRINGING SAMPLES TO OUR HOME. HE ALSO WENT TO A HOME AND LOOKED AT THEIR SHINGLES BECAUSE I TOLD HIM THOSE WERE THE ONES I WANTED ON OUR HOUSE. INSTALLATION CREW WAS GOOD, PROFESSIONAL AND SKILLED AT INSTALLATION.

WORK STARTED IN 8 WEEKS INSTEAD OF THE 5 WEEKS MENTIONED, BUT TWO WEEKS WERE DUE TO A WORKER BEING INJURED JUST BEFORE WORK BEGAN. ALL WORK WAS DONE WELL AND LOOKS AMAZING. STUART WHO RAN THE JOB, PAID CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND OBVIOUSLY KNOWS HIS CARPENTRY. THE WINDOW TRIM WAS OF CABINETRY QUALITY AND THE SITE WAS TIDY AT THE END OF EACH WORK DAY. TOM MURPHY SHOWED UP ON THE JOB TO MAKE SURE THINGS WERE GOING WELL. BRIAN FOLLOWED UP AS WELL. ALL EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. FOR WHAT THEY DID, THEIR PRICE WAS MORE THAN FAIR.

STEWART (WINDOW MAN) WAS VERY NICE AND CAREFUL. MARK (SIDING MAN) TOOK GREAT PAINS TO DO A BEAUTIFUL JOB SIDING THE GARAGE TO MATCH THE EXISTING SIDING ON THE HOUSE. MURPHY DID ENTIRE JOB FOR WHAT SOME OTHER COMPANIES BID FOR WINDOWS ALONE.
