Description of Work: Mr. Rooter has always provided excellent service. I first used Mr. Rooter almost 10 years ago, when we had water in the basement at another home at 3:00 a.m, and a better known plumber refused to service us until morning.

Description of Work: Awful experience. Plumber was terrible. Kept telling me he couldn't find problem and owner would not let him continue without more payment. Ended up repairing something that did not fix problem. I called owner. Owner had no concern for my problem at all. Quite frankly the worst service I have encounter in 25 years of home ownership.

.totally ripped offn by Mr. Rooter
Description of Work: price was way way way too high....technician quoted my husband 220.00 and 100.00 cheaper if could clean out sewer pipe from outside instead of basement which we were able to do ...then my husband had to leave for doctor appt ...so tech told me it was 337.00 with 100.00 off for outside cleaning not 220.00 with 100.00 off...337.00 was never mentioned at all so now I feel totally ripped of by this company... will never use this company again and will tell all my friends not to use them

THEY HAD TO INSTALL A CLEAN OUT IN OUR DRAIN LINE AND THEY OVERCHARGED US FOR THAT TO MAKE THEIR ACCESS TO THE DRAIN EASIER. THEY SAID THAT WE SHOULDNT EVEN PUT TOILET PAPER DOWN OUR DRAIN AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OF OVER $4000 TO DO A COMPLETE REPAIR. WE USED IT FOR A WHOLE YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS PREVIOUS TO THIS.

COMPANY ADVERTISES 24 HOUR SERVICE BUT NEVER CALLED DURING THE EVENING WHEN I DESPERATELY NEEDED HELP. THE OFFICE RETURNED MY CALL AFTER 8AM AT WHICH POINT MY BASEMENT WAS FLOODED. THEY ADVERTISE THE SAME PRICE DAY OR NIGHT, BUT THE PRICE IS HIGH TO BEGIN WITH. THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO SHOWED UP WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL (HE EVEN COVERED HIS SHOES SO HE WOULDNT TRACK DIRT IN). AFTER WE DISCUSSED THE WORK THAT WAS NEEDED, I WAS SHOWN A BOOK WITH PRICES LISTED. I WAS SHOWN ONE PRICE AND CHARGED ANOTHER, HE TOLD ME THAT I SAW THE SPECIAL MEMBERS PRICING. WOULD I USE THEM AGAIN? PROBABLY NOT.
