Everything went great. The sub-floor needing to be totally installed was a surprise to all of us - didn't know how bad it was until the floor was ripped up. Our service guy explained everything to us and was very transparent about the cost and process.

Great work. They showed up on the day/time scheduled, did the work with quality, and the final price matched the phone estimate I had been provided.

I called the Mr. Hanyman office to explain my needs to see if they could handle the job The office assistant was very efficient and professional in scheduling the handyman to give me an estimate and a day that very week for the job if I accepted the estimate. Dave arrived on time and told me how much paint would be needed and the approximate time and cost to do the job. I approved and he came back on the scheduled day to complete the work. Dave arrived on time and set to work. He was very congenial and did the work with utmost competence. Since he had the pressure washer to do the siding, he even pressure washed my front sidewalk (which wasn't part of the job) and it looked fantastic.

Andy arrived early and got started right on time. After looking at the roof and at how the exhaust fan was situated in the attic he consulted with me about how I would prefer to have it done an then got stated immediately. He completed the job in two hours and came in exactly at the quote that I have received over the phone. I would definitely recommend Andy and use Mr. Handyman's services again.

If I would have agreed to the $50 service charge it would have been included in the cost of the work. The quote that he gave me was outside of my budget and what I felt comfortable with. I have dealt with this Company on 2 other occasions and I have never heard of the $50 service charge.

The garage was built in the 1970's, 30 years after the rest of the house and it had lots of cracks and inconsistencies. But the thing I really needed done was him to fix a small area that looked like it was caving in and also to finish the drywall in another area. I told the guy right toff the bat, I don't want this perfect. I originally told him new drywall would have to be cut for the problem area but after seeing it, he said the area that was caving in was salvageable and wouldn't need to be drywalled, that he could secure the pieces that were falling down. I thought that was smart and would save time. The first thing he did was use hundreds of bolts and washers to secure the ceiling to the joists and taped over the bolts and finally mudded over the tape. The thing I liked is that he was thinking out of the box and would also fix little things I didn't ask for, I have 2 hanging florescent lights and he said they might be pulling the ceiling down, so secured those. At the time he was working I was out of the house, and after working for 5 hours he gave me a call and asked me if he wanted me to continue and I said that he should stop and that it was probably good enough. On my way home to meet him I was shaking in boots just thinking about the cost, especially considering that we were selling the house and I just wanted to do this to appease the new owners. But when I got home, I was completely blown away! I mean for not being "perfect" it looked really good! He even managed to fix a bunch of problem areas I didn't even ask about, such as a crumbling area over the garage doorway. I think in retrospect I probably would've said, "Just work on this for like 3 or 4 hours and lets a**** what the ceiling looks like," considering I didn't really want to spend almost $700 on this little project. On the other hand, it looks awesome and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. I'm really happy with the work that was done and the workman's ability to improvise when I didn't give him exact instructions on what to do.

The guy came. He puttied the seam around my toilet. But we hoped the water would stop leaking when he puttied the seams. This past year, we had flooding in our basement. So, he did not repair the gutters properly. He said his work would eliminate the water, but it did not. They did not stand behind their work. When their 2nd guy came out. He shook his head and took pictures. They never got back with me or came to redo it. I wouldn't hire them again.

I ended up buying a new one and the whole deal seem to cost me more than I felt I should have to pay.

I am not local, however my eyes and ears at the property were pleased with the work done.

They charge $136.00 for the first 10 minutes or 1 hour!!! That is right $136 per first hour!!! Service Tech did not know he was even coming to fix a massage chair and had never worked on one previously. I had to copy a manual off the internet for him and show him how to disassemble. He wanted me to call the massage chair company to order a part. Many communications problems and inefficient receptionist had personal issues which added to delay after delay. My massage chair sat in my family room for over one week in a disassembled state. I was so frustrated that I told them I could not give them anything but a negative review. They then stated they would not solve my issue. I ended up fixing the chair (which is under warranty) by myself.

I called needing to get someone to the house quickly - rain was on the way, and I had a gutter issued that was starting to damange an inside wall. They managed to fit me in and had someone at my house within a couple of hours. Bryan was on time and completed the job in a very timely manner. He then explained exactly what he had done and why. Will definitely use them again.

Excellent, knowledgeable professional service. Exceeded my expectations. Mr. Handyman costs a bit more than if you're able to find a local handyman, or independent contractor. But as long as you provide the necessary materials, they're worth a bit higher price for the convenience, peace of mind, and quality of work. Will use again!

Oustanding result. Dan, of Mr. Handyman, continues to surpass our expectations for quality work. Dan has performed numerous handyman activities at our house, and each time, provides a result which exceeds our expectations. We are very happy with the quality of work he provides and will definitely seek Mr. Handyman and Dan's service for future needs.

He was punctual. He came when he said he would. It took him about 20 minutes to put it in, which is perfect.

C.J came out to our home to inspect the work only a few days after I contacted them I was impressed with his knowledge of what had to be done. l When I mentioned that there was dampness in the basement need where the porch was overhead, he immediately said he would add flashing to fix the problem. I was impressed that he was not a sub-contractor as the service I had been using. I could be assured of quality work each time they came to my house. I liked how clean and organized his Mr. Handyman truck was, and the quality of his tools. Here, I thought, is a real professional who takes pride in his work. The entire structure was well made. I was especially concerned that the step railing was sturdy and made to last .He even brought his own generator to power his tools, since there was no easy access to an outside outlet, and I needed to leave for a while.

Services we completed within 40 mins, much quicker than anticipated. I'll be using Handyman soon on another repair.

George did an awesome job, again! 1880's house had buckled floor from bad wall support in basement. The posts were replaced, and George made sure they were level, and shimmed them till they were perfect. The floor, with a little persuasion, went back the way is should have been. It's was that way since we have owned the house, for 34 years. Much to our relief, we can now put the sub floor in and have our new flooring installed without worrying how we could get around this major problem. George to the rescue!

TOP NOTCH!! They were awesome!! The tech came out twice (after the first fix was damaged by the squirrel just hours after installation). The tech as well as the customer service representatives were nothing but helpful. They scheduled him quickly and the work was done at a very high level of quality. I could not ask for a better experience. I will use Mr. Handyman well into the future after this great experience.

The floor joists were supported while damaged sill plate was removed. This was in a hard to reach spot, as it was behind the electric panel and phone routing system. All of the wires were loosened so the board the panel was located could be lowered so access to the damaged area could be reached. After the mess was pulled out, and it was a MESS, it was all cleaned up spotless! Very impressed with the work!

The workers were friendly and excellent. They were very prompt. I would recommend them to a friend and they were reasonable. We would use them in the future.

Josh and his helper did a great job in the bitter cold recommending gutter clips to reattach the gutter Very quick and did a good job, they only charged for the one visit as Josh needed a helper due to the weight, length and height of the gutter. To answer the question would I use or recommend them again...defiantly a yes.

He is fantastic,, the attention to detail, clean up and all was beyond any reasonable expectation. he worked quickly and efficiently, and paid attention to the little things. George obviously takes pride in his work, and I would recommend Mr. Handyman and George without any hesitation. I will surely use them again,,

Upon calling a few different handymen around town, we were continually waiting for return calls and estimates. After reading the Mr. Handyman review on Angie's List, I decided to give them a try. I appreciated the immediate contact that I was able to make to schedule an estimate. After meeting George and receiving a bid, we promptly scheduled a time for the service. Although we had to wait about 3 weeks, it was worth it. He showed up on time and repaired our shower tile and caulked in the exact amount of time he predicted. We are very happy with the professionalism, quality of work, and overall cost.
