Mr. Electric of Warren County

Moving forward with the times, I found myself in need of a new outlets in my garage to charge electric vehicles. Unfortunately, the panel was in my finished basement, and on the side of the house opposite the garage. Matthew came over and immediately saw a solution. He claimed the wires could be run cleverly without the need to disassemble any drywall. I was skeptical, but intrigued. I decided to go for it. Today, he came over with two helpers to install the required outlets. I was amazed by how well it went. Not everything went smoothly, but these three seemed to welcome any challenge. They thought their way around the issues, ran the wires, and connected it all up. I was impressed by how well they all worked together. At the end of the job and cleaned up leaving no evidence of their visit other than 2 shiny new outlets eagerly awaiting the future. The entire experience was painless, and I am as happy as anyone could be with new outlets. From now on, I will only call Mr. Electric for any electrical needs. Highly recommended.

I have used Mr. Electric before and was impressed with his meticulous work. He now uses helpers that he works with and supervises, but the work continues to be clean, accurate and overall very excellent. After quoting one price in the estimate, he lowered the cost admitting that they did not have to rewire as many outlets as first expected. I found that honesty refreshing and agreed to have them do some extra work cleaning up some additional wiring in the basement.

We had a deck cover built in last year and the installers put in provisiion for two fans to be installed. Electrical lines were routed out of the covers into the house and joined to the line that controlled the light in the back porch. The electrical lines going into the house were neatly put inside pipes and routed into the attic. The pipes were painted to match the cover and are very unobtrusive. They also installed remote controls for the fans and lights. The bathroom fans we had were original to the house and about 20 years old and needed to be replaced. They suggested the type of fan to get during the visit for the quote and the size of fan to get. The fans in all three bathrooms were replaced and they are working very well indeed. They arrived at 8 am as promised and worked till around 2 pm. They were courteous and cleaned up afterwards. The cost may be more than others but you definitely get what you pay for.

i have had Matthew out at my house twice now. This time it was to fix a light that Craftsman Electric had told me was virtually unfixable. Matthew was able to get it working again. Both times he has done work for me I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, prompt and pleasant. He is very fair with his pricing and honest with what the job will entail. I will continue to call him for all my electric needs and have already started recommending him to friends.

The gentleman troubleshot our breaker issues and determined we were overloading a circuit. He was able to install a dedicated circuit/outlet to resolve the issue that same visit, at a very reasonable price. Service was very fast and efficient, and very polite. Will definitely be calling Mr. Electric for our future electrical needs.

EXCELLENT ! Matthew was highly professional,extremely efficient, and get this, unlike others, he does clean work. It is as if he was never there. I have a comfort level with him, his work and how he explained and perfomre everything. All future electrical work will be referred to Mr. Electric. We are very pleased.

We had a ceiling fan installed in my new house. The ceiling mounting bracket and all the wiring was already in place. All that needed to be done was to hang the fan, replace the wall switch and connect the fan to the power. The job was done well and he even came back the next day to resolve a wireless code issue. I purchased an $80.00 groupon special valued at $150.00 to have the fan installed that was consistent with other estimates I received for this work. Before the work started I was shown an estimate of $170.00 that I thought was the total cost and the Groupon valued at $150.00 would be deducted from that amount for a total of $170.00 for the job. . When the job was over I found out that the $170.00 estimate was in addition to the $150.00 Groupon value that I had already purchased for a total $320.00. The work was good but the job was way overpriced. I purchased a Groupon for $80.00 that was worth $150.00 in electrical services. I paid Mr. Electric $170.00 cash, and bought a Groupon worth $150.00 making the total for this job $320.00. That is is way overpriced to hang a ceiling fan that was already wired and had a ceiling mount installed. Other estimates for this job ranged from $85.00 to $125.00 from other certified electricians.

This is a great husband wife pair that operate this business. They are kind, responsive, and attentive to your needs. The experience went so well I had them add several items to their list once they arrived. Will definitely be calling them back for ALL of my electrical needs.

Matthew Price did great work. He was always on time, worked quickly, and made sure to seek feedback and offer suggestions before proceeding with any work. The wiring was well thought out and everything is working as expected. He and his helper did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, and handled my crazy kids getting in the way without any problems. I gave a slightly lower rating on the price because it seemed a bit high, but I'm happy with the work.

Excellent job. Problem was simple, at least if you knew why that kind of switch was used when it was just fans, not fan-lights. After the job was done, Mr Price volunteered to check some other circuits while he was there, which was helpful, because there were a couple I had some questions about. That is beyond the call of duty, more than we paid for, and greatly appreciated. High level of professionalism and customer service.

Direct tv drilled into electrical wiring at meter while putting in a new line for tv. The power company shut our power off until repairs could be made. Mr. Electric came out that day to start the repair. It wasn't until late in the evening that Duke energy informed me that they would not restore power until an inspection was done. Mr. Electric said he would pull permits and get the inspector out first thing the next morning. He was back out there by 8:30 the next day (after being there until almost 9pm the prior evening) and finished the work, had an inspector there and our power was back on by 11:30. He was very kind and professional. I would certainly use this company in the future should I need an electrician again. Very responsive and helpful. Great experience all around.

Matt Price is just downright awesome! Everything has been done so professionally, Not only are the installations perfectly located, but everything was done neatly and cleanly. His suggestions for improvements are spot on. He's worked at my condo now on at least 8 separate occasions, and everything is tidy and clean when he's finished. You cannot go wrong with having Matt as 'your' electrician.

They did great work. I just thought it was a little pricey even after the big deal was deducted. I'd give them a B because of the cost. I would shop around a little bit more.

Matthew (Mr. Electric) is/was awesome. From my initial interaction with Mr. Electric's scheduler to the completion of the work, the whole experience could not have gone more smoothly - and I had quite a befuddling problem (that is too lengthy to lay out here). Matthew is a highly skilled professional that does not let go of a challenge (thank goodness for us). He spent the time working towards the best (lowest cost and safest) solution to our problem. His communication was spot-on and timely, he was courteous and it was overall the best experience one could hope for when dealing with a problem in the home. Though the cost was not insignificant, I feel it was most likely the best value and lowest it could have been for the work provided (compared to estimates received from other electrical contractors). Definitely keeping Mr. Electric's number on hand in case there is a future need!

Matthew is a very positive character ... For example, when you ask him 'How he's doing?" on the phone ... He'll tell you that "he's having way too much fun". We were scheduled for Friday but as he did not have a 15 foot ladder, we agreed on Saturday so he could rent one. He was on time, he was very clean with carpets, drop cloths etc. He was professional and was able to complete the work which was very intense in good time. I would recommend Mr. Electric.
