Description of Work: We had an alarm on our Samsung fridge that started ringing. It took some diagnostic work to find which sensor needed to be replaced. Chuck from Mr. Appliance was able to determine which sensor it was and fix the fridge. Very pleased that we do not have to listen to that stupid alarm going off.

Description of Work: My water line to my refrigerator was frozen and he unclogged it. He re-wired my washing machine lines. He installed a new ice maker in my Whirlpool refrigerator.

 + -1 moreThe provider was selected as they offered evening hours. My tennent and I were not available until 6:30pm. We were given a window of 6 to 8pm. The service man called me at work between 5 & 5:30 then showed up at the house before 6pm. I talked to him after that to find my tennent had arrived early and let him in. The problem was diagnosed an fixed by the time I arrived. I was told by the girl in the office there would be an initial service charge of just under $80 that would be applied to the work done and any parts. I authorized the work on the phone to get the appliance up and running for my tennent. The total quote was $217.64 with tax and I had hoped to get the breakdown on the invoice of why it was so much. The invoice was digital and was sent to me via email the next day. There was no breakdown of parts and labor, just a charge of $204.36 plus $13.28 tax. Upon calling the office the girl told me that's the way their system generates invoices and was not able to explain why an $18 part and twenty minutes of labor. Cost over $200. As for the service man, he was a little short with me on the phone and when questioned seemed agitated when I explained my conversation with the girl in the office. Quote " the part was 50 bucks and the labor was 150." I chose not to have an argument in my tennents presence so let the transaction slide and contacted the office. This service provider did NOT do as they said with respect to scheduling the appointment. I believe I was overcharged by about $100.
