We Help Moving recently moved us from Austin,TX. I?m not sure where to start on how amazing my experience was. Our driver Jim was the absolutely best. Not only was he skilled at his craft, he was kind. Jim arrived 1 day early in Austin and stopped by the night before the move and actually helped us finish packing(Not even included in the move). We were so thankful we invited him to dinner with us. He diligently wrapped our items up. There was 1 or 2 glasses which in my opinion was acceptable for a move of that distance. He put all the items exactly where I wanted. Most normal people would be annoyed with how OCD I am but Jim was happy to do exactly as I asked. I hope we never move again but if we do "We Help Moving" will be our mover!

If I were to rate this company on a scale of 1-5 with one being the worst and 5 being the best, I would rate them a 2. They got a 2 for showing up. The company consists of a total of three employees; two of them are partners and one real employee. Between all of them the concept of "common sense" might as well be a foreign language. Here is an example to illustrate my point: A rubber pastry scraper (just a rounded piece of rubber) was wrapped in four pieces of packing paper, while all of my husbands hats and one fedora I purchased for myself were placed on the bottom of a box with a heavy gym bag placed on top of them, packing paper on top of that... thus crushing and ruining all the hats we had ever bought ourselves. The brims were broken, tops packed in, all hats (7) trashed. Where is the logic in this? I also specifically asked these people to label each box explaining where the items came from i.e. linen closet, guest room bureau. It didn't happen. When they did pack our closets, and the kitchen, they took the shelf liner without asking and packed it in the boxes as well. Depending on who packed, some of the old shelf liner was again, packed in several layers of packing paper. They used so much packing paper (overkill) that it made getting to any item extremely difficult, especially when it was something that would not be broken in the process of packing, and yet, I had some glassware that did not receive the love of sufficient paper and broke. They also lost some of our belongings. There was no consistency whatsoever. I could not recommend this company ever. They were expensive. We never put in any claims because I wanted to just be done with them. The owners are nice guys and I am sure they mean well, but they have no idea what they are doing.

Overall, I can't speak highly enough about my experience with the Moving Ahead Services team. They arrived as expected, had me tour the entire house with them to cover what items were to be moved and then got to work. The team of Matt, Justin, Tyler, Andre, Moises and Adrian were fast, efficient, friendly and extremely careful with all items. All furniture was carefully wrapped and moved with flawless precision. Upon arrival at the new house, they were patient as we decided where the furniture needed to go and even helped move several items multiple times. Having a group of guys like this on a moving day is a blessing and as much as I loathe the idea of ever moving again, I wouldn't hesitate to call this company. They are the real deal!!

Having We Help Moving help me move out of my apartment and into my new apartment was the best decision I could have made.They made the move so easy and simple I didn't have to do a thing. I have already referred them to two friends and they are going to use them also. The movers were very friends and the price was great. I couldn't be happier with their service. If I ever move again I will definitely be contacting them.

Awesome group of young men. I can't say enough positive things about them. They all worked very hard, carefully wrapped all our furniture and were very professional and courteous. They worked the entire time they were there, answered all our questions, and were extremely careful in unloading and placing items. They always asked where we wanted something. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mover. We felt the pricing was extremely reasonable for 2 trucks and 5 movers. Couldn't be happier!!!

Very pleased from the beginning of this process! Prompt follow up when I inquired about Moving Ahead Services, competitive pricing, and on actual moving day, cannot say enough positive words about the work Jon, Gary, and Thomas did for us!!! They worked hard, were very pleasant and personable, and it was just a pleasure to have them for our moving crew. They took care of all of our items and no damage was done at all. They made sure the furniture was where we wanted it at our new place and they cleaned up all packing materials before they left. We would definitely use their services again!

Extremely fast, efficient, curtious, and took care of our stuff. On several occasions, when they didn't know I could see them, they were running back to the truck for the next load. The guys were all veterans who had been with the company for a while, so the company must be doing something right! Worth every penny!

They said they would be there at 9:15 AM and they arrived at 9:16 AM. They said they should finish within 4 hours. We added 2 stops to the move and they still finished on time. Excellent service and punctual and accommodating.

I'm not really sure how to label the experience. It wasn't great, by far, but I suppose it could have technically been worse. Here's the low-down: 1. We had a lot of boxes and some fragile items such as China, etc. All boxes were clearly labelled as fragile when the contents were exactly that. To that end, when we arrived at our final destination and unloaded the truck, we found some heavier boxes put on top of the fragile boxes, and some of the fragile boxes literally chucked up on top in an unstable position- I clearly stated to them that nothing was to be on top of fragile boxes and to let me know if there were any issues. The did not say anything about it. 2. They put non-sturdy items underneath piles of boxes. For example, my coffee table and antique tea cart were placed on the floor of the back of the truck with items much too heavy, placed on top of them. My coffee table is also an ottoman and the cushion took two days to come back to normal. 3. We discussed that we had a lot of items to put in the truck and I asked that they use all of the available space to the best of their abilities- this clearly did not happen. We had two outdoor plastic (highly durable) cabinets that I asked them to place items inside- they did not. There was space left under the coffee table and under several other things that could have not only filled space, but provided support. In the end, we had to leave several things behind that absolutely could have fit in the truck had it been loaded properly. 4. The guys were friendly and there to do the job. I tipped them well, and even gave them a few things (corn hole boards) we were planning to get rid of anyway. That said, one of the guys had to leave early to go see his parole officer. I'm not judging on that- we all make mistakes in life- but losing a guy certainly slowed the process. They did bring another guy in about an hour or so later to help finish, which was great, but this was another person that I had to tip (again, I don't mind tipping for good work- I was a bartender for a long time- but had the other guy been able to stay, my overall cost would have been less for more than one reason. 5. Finally, this isn't the opinion of "some guy" who hired them. The moving company that unloaded us when we arrived in California, was far from complimentary of the packing job and due to a lack of use of ratchet straps and other restraints (that I willingly provided) was constantly concerned of items falling on them. I guess all in all, it was a bad job. I realize that it has taken me over a year to write this review, but I was on Angie's List and felt I should share my experience. The time doesn't change the fact that the job was poorly performed. I liked the guys, despite the issues and inability to properly back a moving truck, so that's probably why I have a hard time saying it was terrible- but honestly, it was a bad experience and I would never use this company again.

I hired 4WeHelp Movers a little over a week before my move. They called me back the same day and I was able to arrange a date. On the day of the move, they called between the scheduled window and arrived promptly. These guys were lightning fast! Tory S., Robert B. and one other guy were able to move our furniture from a 3rd floor apartment to our new home 15 min away and unload everything in under 3 hours!! They were also very friendly and professional. Thank you again!! I will definitely be recommending your services!!!

They are very courtesy and polite for the whole process. The move out from old location was kind of slow, which made us concern about the time. But the move in was fast and they considered the break time to be non-chargeable. We only moved big staff in our 2 bedroom condo using the moving company, so we expected that to be done less than 3 hours. But it actually took 5 hours to be done. So this kind of below our expectation. Other than that, we were happy with the mover and their service.

They showed up exactly on time and walked through the house with us to see the items that had to be moved (everything). Immediately the three men started wrapping everything carefully and thoroughly and placing it on the truck. They laid down floor coverings to protect the floors. It took several hours. We had a few items that went to a different location and they loaded them last and delivered them first, as location was on the way. En route, they took a lunch break as we went to our condo. When they arrived they started unloading and unwrapping and placed every item exactly where we directed. It was a hot day but they did not slow down. When it was all over, they presented a bill under the estimated cost. Every one of the men were courteous and respectful. Not one item was damaged. Our move could not have been any more perfect.

Mover gave us a phone estimate based on items to move and size of house. On moving day, three men arrived promptly, walked through the house with us to see what was getting moved and immediately went to work to wrap every piece of furniture and placed it on the truck. They worked quickly and carefully. Several items were being delivered to another address. They gave those items the same quality of care and delivered them on the way to our new home. Once here, they unwrapped and carried in the furnishings and placed them where we wanted them. Then, moved them around as we changed our minds. At the end of the day we were more than satisfied. Not a single mishap!! The actual cost was $300.00 less than quoted. The men were all pleasant, courteous and very cooperative. What more could we want? I would definitely recommend them.

I was not really thrilled with it. There more pieces involved that I have originally thought. They were really reluctant. They acted like they didn't want to do the work. There were two guys. I hate to say this but it was more on a racial part but it was a racist thing actually. It was my first time and I won't use them again.

The movers were very respectful yet funny. They made the day much more pleasant than I ever imagined. They worked so well together! The had to move an upright piano which was VERY HEAVY but they managed! The team- Gary S., Seth C., and Stephon T. were AWESOME!! They worked so hard yet so well together- keeping their sense of humor through the end of the day! I will be moving again and I am requesting these guys again! They took great care of all of my property. BTW- they sing well too!

The three men, Galvin, Paul and Thomas, arrived on time and immediately walked through my condo to assess the situation. They introduced themselves and shook hands. A very nice touch. They worked the whole time without taking any breaks and without any unnecessary chatter. They worked very well together and treated my possessions with care. Once moved, they were very agreeable to move my furniture around if asked. Moving is very stressful and I would definitely use them again.

The movers (Matt and Chad) did a terrific job. They were efficient and courteous, taking care with my furniture both removing it and then delivering it to my new home. I was very impressed and will recommend Moving Ahead to my friends and family.

They did a great job. We had items designated for multiple locations (home, storage and garage) and they worked tirelessly. Our possessions were well cared for. When we had one small issue, the owner corrected it quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by how low the total price ended up being. Would definitely recommend.

I called last minute when my other arrangements fell through. Moving Ahead was able to move me on one day's notice, so for that alone they should get an A+! They sent three guys with one truck to move me from a one bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom home. The entire move took only 2 hours. I was definitely impressed with their speed and accuracy. There was only one small bit of damage to my Ikea couch batting, which was pretty good considering the damage done by other movers. I wasn't concerned about the damage as much as the feeling that they were trying to hide it. When they brought the couch in they were adamant about getting the couch cover on right away, even after I told them I would do it on my own later. This was the main reason they didn't get the highest rating possible. Another small disappointment was the fact that the movers drove to Cincinnati from Columbus. When I booked the move, I called a local Cincinnati number. I was never informed that the movers were not local. This would not have been a problem except that they were over an hour late arriving to my apartment (they had some problems getting the rental truck they had reserved for my move). I wasn't really upset by the delay, but take note if you want to work with local movers. I think Moving Ahead is looking to expand into the Cincinnati area, but they currently don't have an office here. Overall though, the customer service was good, the movers were professional, and the work was completed faster than expected.

It went well for the most part. Movers were 30 minutes late but they called and let me know they were running late. I was a little distressed to see the movers hitting the walls a few times with the big bulky items. Other than that, the move went well. They were professional, organized and packed the truck full.

The two movers (Patrick and Robert) showed up right on time and we walked through the house together to verify what was going on the truck. They were very efficient and courtesy and took great care of my items. The loaded the truck and than drove to Louisville to out the items in storage. I will use them on future moves '
