This is our second time using Moving Ahead Services, our first time was moving from our old residence to a new one, and this time was for moving some Pinball machines within our home. They are on time, very careful, and professional. They take the time to explain the paperwork to you before starting and are accurate in their time and cost estimates.

 + -1 moreTom and his team were wonderful!! The care they took with our belongings surpassed any past experience we have had moving. They encased our beautiful wood furniture in thick pads, if a piece of furniture had doors or drawers, they shrink wrapped and then bundled them tight in the pads. They arrived on time, and finished on time. They took no breaks, just hustled until we arrived at our new location, and again, with the same attention to detail, and with care, unloaded the 26 ft truck. The service we received was spot on. We are so happy with the service and respect we received.

 + 0 moreFrom the initial contact, Spensir and his team were total professionals. They helped with my immediate need for specialised box sizes and the many, many wardrobe boxes I required. The EIGHT-man team that showed up to move my belongings were the nicest, most professional and courteous group of men I could have asked for. When all of my belongings would not fit into one truck - they quickly secured a second truck without hesitation. When we arrived in Florida and my original storage plan fell through, they worked with me and local movers to accommodate the multiple locations that my belongings ultimately ended up in (without complaint.) Their team worked in blistering hot weather to make an extremely stressful situation for me, less so. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend We Help Movers to anyone in need of moving services. True professionals.

 + -1 moreThe whole, 2 day process went off without a hitch! The crew was well organized, polite, careful and efficient. Anything I asked of any member of the crew was done with a smile! The experience with Moving Ahead Services was very pleasurable and stress-free.
Description of Work: Packing everything and moving all furniture from a 1,400 sq. ft. apartment and from 2 large (approx. 100 sq. ft. each) storage rooms piled 9 feet high on apartment premises to a newly built house.

Description of Work: I currently moved from the Cincinnati area to Mason and heard only good things about this company so I trusted them. I got a call 15-20 minutes prior to the movers showing up and the crew was very professional and the crew leader was very helpful and organized. They gave me an estimated time and we're moving very well paced and professional throughout the whole move! I would recommend this company to anyone local or long distance!

When they arrived at the new apartment they unloaded with speed and took care and put items where requested.  + 0 moreMovers were on time. Reviewed terms of contract which seemed standard. It was all professional and transparent. It was raining so they put pads on carpet and floor of location moving out of. Carefully wrapped the refrigerator and each piece of sectional. The treadmill was unexpectedly difficult to get up stairs and out of basement but they figured it out. The move took a little longer than any of us expected but they didn't gouge me for more money. On the other hand, we didn't ask them to do anything more than discussed in advance and we disclosed as much information about stairs, doorways and our expectations. We also cleared the path and prepared the items for moving in advance.
Description of Work: Moved a refrigerator and leather sectional from one location to another and hired movers to haul a chest freezer and treadmill out of basement.

The men were very polite, very positive, very energetic and they all worked together seamlessly. One of the guys even took a few minutes to fix two of my dining room chairs.  + 0 moreThe move was unorganized logistically, the movers showed to be unprofessional when it came to packing my personal belongings on the truck, lost many hardware items required to reassemble furniture and an excessive amount of personal belongings. In addition, another moving company showed up without my prior knowledge or agreement to perform a portion of the move. Terrible experience and I was proceed with caution in hiring this company.
Description of Work: I needed a move with a load and unload date. Two of the movers showed up on time, however the truck and the third mover was very late. I was told over the phone that one truck and three guys would get the job done. It wasn't very long into the move another 3 individuals showed up and was informed I needed a second truck. My personal belongings were not well taken care of. An excessive amount of items went missing including lots of the hardware required to reassemble my furniture that they took apart. On the unload date, a moving company showed up that I did not even hire. They told me they were there to unload and assemble the furniture. As they proceeded to open the trucks they notified me that I needed to take pictures of how poorly my personal belongings were packed by the company that I hired. It was an absolute mess and clearly unprofessional. I have attached one of those pictures. When it came time to start assembling furniture they could not locate many of the hardware items required to reassemble. That company tried their best with what they had but was just as frustrated as I was. At the end of the day the move was a terrible experience.

 + -1 moreThey were the best!!!! Arrived on time and worked, I mean worked, until the job was done. They didn't even take a break. The knew how to handle some very heavy pieces of furniture. They padded the doorframe when they brought furniture out of the basement so the doorframe wouldn't be damaged. They would have been even faster but my new place in on the third floor and they had to keep waiting for the elevator. Nothing was broke or damaged. I would recommend them to anyone, but io hope I never need to use them again. I hate moving . . .but they made it far more bearable.

 + -1 moreWe Help Moving recently moved us from Austin,TX. I?m not sure where to start on how amazing my experience was. Our driver Jim was the absolutely best. Not only was he skilled at his craft, he was kind. Jim arrived 1 day early in Austin and stopped by the night before the move and actually helped us finish packing(Not even included in the move). We were so thankful we invited him to dinner with us. He diligently wrapped our items up. There was 1 or 2 glasses which in my opinion was acceptable for a move of that distance. He put all the items exactly where I wanted. Most normal people would be annoyed with how OCD I am but Jim was happy to do exactly as I asked. I hope we never move again but if we do "We Help Moving" will be our mover!
