Hired Mike Wightman to install a new HVAC system for us in Hamilton. He installed it with no problems but would not pull a permit for us (the City or Hamilton required it). So, we were stuck not being able to sell the house until a permit was pulled. Luckily, we had another HVAC company pull the permit for us (they were very reluctant because they didn't do that work). Mike Wightman was also very demanding for the installation payment immediately after he finished. He was very rude to me and my staff. Do yourself a favor and find a different HVAC company. Mike is only concerned about himself and making money. He could care less about his customers

Great, he was on time and expedient.

Went great. Mike actually found a few mall issues with the original furnace install. corrected a draining pipe and tightened some loose screws. Offered some great advise and walked me through the entire instal and maintenance procedures. Very professional. Highly recommend Mike.

He used a chemical cleaner to clean fan and it went all through the house, causing me to have an asthma attack later that night. Also, dirt was blown into heating unit causing my husband and I to think the house was on fire in the wee hours of the morning. Never had anyone spray anything into our system. When I called him the next day to tell him, he said “ I didn’t know you were so sensitive “!!!!!

Highly recommend this gentleman for excellent work, attention to detail, and very reasonable pricing. You won't be sorry if you call him. He is our heat & A/C person forever. Nice man!!!!!!!!!

I scheduled an annual cleaning with another company. The owner of the company came out and without looking inside the unit or using any gages or tools told me it wasn't worth cleaning and servicing I needed a new unit. Before leaving this man turned my unit off telling me not to use it because I'm just wasting electricity. I called Mike Wightman for a second opinion. He came out as soon as possible. He checked things out, used his gages to read my freon levels, checked sensors, etc. He determined that while my unit is old (18 years), it isn't dead yet. He cleaned it, added a squirt of freon. My a/c worked so much better that I had to turn the temperature up, because I was cold! Thank you, Mike!!

Awesome!... He informed me i need a new air filter and how often to either clean or replace it . I appreciate him take his time and answering all my questions. I will definitely use his services again.

I have used Mike in the past for AC work and he was fair, honest and reliable. This December morning we woke up to a 58 degree house so I gave Mike a call and left a message. The call was returned in less than minutes. As previously mentioned, I've used Mike before so Mike had an idea that I was somewhat handy. Over the phone, Mike mentioned a couple of things that could be causing the problem that I could try (this furnace wasn't the older pilot light design). I followed up on his suggestions and was able to fix the problem saved a service call. Thank you again Mike.
