As great as the design and layout of the home are the quality of the subcontractors that Mark Zaring decided to use were very poor for my house. The overall construction of the house is one of the poorest I have seen. I think Mark and his company were caught up in the building boom and decided to sacrifice quality in order to continue to serve demand. It's very unfortunate because the design of the house is great, but after talking to many people who built with Mark Zaring the inconsistencies of satisfaction should be a cause of alarm for many people. I have talked to some that couldn't be happier with their build and others who wish they could walk away from the home and start over. After folding the last company, he is coming to market with another name (Bradley Custom Homes, I think). I find it hard to understand how the law lets these builders fold one company and walk away from their responsibility and liabilities and start anew under a different name. All buyers should do a thorough search of this builders past holding companies and look to see satisfaction rates and be completely informed.
