Description of Work: My formal living room ceiling, walls and fireplace mantle were damaged by water. The home is a 1936 Tudor with intricate plastered walls and ceilings. We received several estimates, the highest estimate was $5,000 (they wanted to remove the fireplace mantle, and have subcontractors come in and "redo" the chimney). The owner of Lovco, Co. gave an estimate at a fraction of that cost. He educated us on the mastering plastering processes used decades ago and explained/demonstrated that the water damage was surface and Lovco would remove the affected plaster. We already had a mold inspection and was cleared to began plastering. Lovco began the service by partitioning the affected areas with heavy plastic tarps and shields. They covered all the furniture in the other rooms with protective wraps. They began on time and the work was excellent. Their work was provided with a written guarantee and they did not require any upfront payments. When Lovco completed their work, you could not tell the difference between the original plastering and the new plastering. I would use this company again.
