Was refused assistance.
Description of Work: Landlord lookiing to have furniture and belongings moved out to the curb for an eviction set-out. Was refused assistance stating as to why "As a policy we dont do it", she then promptly hung up on me. Thank you for you help and for being so cordial, Yeah right. Lame business mentality.

Did a great job
Description of Work: We moved my mother-in-law from Cincinnati to Columbus. They were flexible with details. We just took picturez on cellphone to make estimate easier. Leaders moved from an apartment to a smaller space and storage.

Description of Work: I had some heavy furniture and needed the crew to make an extra stop to pick up items from my ex-husband's place. They guys were very professional and worked hard to make everything the way I wanted. My new place was new construction and the guys had to haul heavy furniture around the back and through the mud but were champs about it! There was very minor damage to one item (on the back) and they pointed it out and didn't try to hide it from me. They were careful with the freshly painted walls and trim and new hardwood. I'd definitely recommend them. They accidentally drove off with the shelf pegs for two bookcases, but the area manager delivered them in person the next business day.

I received an in-home, fixed-price quote for the move. The two-man crew arrived on time and worked quickly. They packed and loaded my three-bedroom house in about five hours, then drove to the new place and unloaded to a third-floor apartment in about two hours. The crew really hustled to get the job done. My only complaint is that the packing needed a little more care. They filled large boxes with lots of very small items with no packing material to separate them, resulting in a mess. There was some minor damage to a couple things that could have been prevented with better wrapping, but it wasn't enough to get worked up about. Out of three quotes, they offered the lowest price.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. A TWO-MAN CREW ARRIVED ON TIME, AND FINISHED THE ENTIRE MOVE IN UNDER TWO HOURS. I GOT AN ESTIMATE BY PHONE BASED ON AN INVENTORY I GAVE THEM VERBALLY. I THINK AN IN-PERSON, IN-HOME ESTIMATE WOULD HAVE WORKED BETTER, BECAUSE THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION ABOUT WHAT WAS ACTUALLY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. FOR EXAMPLE, MY COFFEE TABLE HAD A GLASS TOP, WHICH WAS NOT MOVED. THERE WERE A FEW ITEMS LIKE THIS.
