Description of Work: Bi annual furnace/AC checkup and maintenance; keeps the unit performing to spec and can spot impending problems. Have had Knochelmann doing this for years,on both old unit and brand new one (which they installed). Very pleased with them and renew the service contract each year.

Description of Work: The technician was prompt and courteous. He did an annual inspection and tune-up of the furnace, humidifier and air purifier. He had to order filters and a UV light--I was amazed when he called the next day to see if he could install them that afternoon! I like the fact that I was not pressured to buy something I did not need.

Description of Work: I bought an electric air filter for my HVAC from Knochelmann and they recommended buying a maintenance agreement. I bought the maintenance agreement and made an appointment for 6 months later for them to come out and service the HVAC. On the day of the appointment they were supposed to be out between 8AM and noon. At 10AM I hadn't heard from them so I called to ask when they would be out. I was told that they had a lot of service calls that day and would have to re-schedule. I told them I had made the appointment 6 months ago and had missed a morning of work waiting for them. I was told since my call was for maintenance instead of a repair it wasn't a priority and they would have to re-schedule. I rescheduled for a few weeks later. When the serviceman showed up he peeked inside my furnace and condenser with a flashlight, said everything looked ok and left. The call took him around 10 minutes. The same thing happened 6 months later. I would not recommend using this company.

Description of Work: Our heating and cooling systems were 30 years old and we felt like we were living on borrowed time. While we made it through a very cold winter, we were not willing to gamble with the summer heat so we took advantage of a between seasons special offer. | The salesman was very professional and carefully explained the reasons that he was recommending one unit over another based on our consumption records/needs and on the square footage of our house. He was quick to answer any questions that we emailed to him and returned calls promptly. | The team that installed the units arrived on time, reviewed the installation plans before beginning and when the job was complete, they took the time to explain what had been done and to show us how to operate the new thermostat. They were very professional. | A follow up call from our salesman was made a day or two after the install and a follow up visit was schedule for a few weeks out to go over any questions or concerns that may have occurred from our end. | We highly recommend this company to anyone considering using their services.

Description of Work: I used Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning for a new air conditioner and furnace.

Description of Work: In a 100-year-old house, had a pipe leaking under the basement floor. They came dug up the floor, fixed the pipe, and were very informative and detailed in what they were going to do and did. We did have an issue so they came back out, dug it up again and fixed the secondary problem, all under warranty.

Description of Work: They performed an in depth tune up on my system. They took apart the inside unit and completely cleaned the fan. The first time the diagnosed the problem incorrectly but came back out and diagnosed the problem correctly. They didn't charge for the 2nd visit.
