We had our 1920s basement finished. Gary and his team were flexible and positive and very responsive to communication. They had great ideas and tried their hardest to make mine a reality. During the project we had a couple of huge issues come up in our home, not related to the work Kiwi was doing. They helped remedy those problems ( one being a very large hole in a plaster ceiling) and when they couldn’t remedy it, they helped me problem solve. They are good at their jobs and good humans and that’s not always easy to find when looking for a contractor. Our basement is better than we could have hoped. We will certainly be calling Kiwi for the projects we have planned in the future.

Extremely happy with the work done in our kitchen. Honest, professional and reasonable. Very happy we ended up going with Gary and his team. We will be recommending and plan to contact in the future for other planned projects.

Crew was professional, respectful of our space, clean and knowledgeable when I had the opportunity to meet with them. Finished work was beyond our expectations and very reasonably priced. Any questions, Gary and crew were able to answer. Once they were finished, Gary made a point to let us live in the space for a week and make note of anything we needed touched-up or changed. Very responsive to our needs.

The process of talking with Gary and getting his and his subcontractors (for electrical and plumbing) input for the potential new bathroom went great. Gary was good to work with and always on time. Ultimately, I decided not to have anyone make the addition at this time.

Gary knows what he is doing but fails at business communication. Rather than say he just isn't interested, or whatever, he strings things along or simply doesn't respond. Massive waste of time, which is a shame, because the quality of his work is obviously excellent.

Everything went better than I could have imagined. I would recommend Kiwi Construction to anyone who wants a contractor who is going to accomplish what you want.

We are very pleased with the results of the bath renovation. It has been a few months since the repair and there has not been any recurring water issues and the bathroom has garnered many compliments from our guests. The Kiwi crew were very pleasant to work with and they were meticulous in their workmanship. I feel like their pricing is fair given the amount of work they did. I will use them again for a few other home projects that I have in mind.

I called Gary looking for some ball park estimates on remodeling the back half of a ranch house (move bathrooms, create 3 bedrooms, etc). Gary was responsive and very professional in the conversation we had - giving me rough costs for various scenarios and options. Gary took the time to talk with me, gave me ideas, and was patient with all of my questions - even though he did not service the area my house was located! Excellent experience.

Gary really helped us out when we needed a quick carpentry job doing in our bathroom so we could get granite installed. He came out when he said he would and did a very quick and efficient job, doing exactly what I asked him to do. He is a pleasure to work with.

The experience was easy from start to finish. I have moved a number of times in my life but this was by far the easiest. Kiwi Custom Construction along with Shayne and Mellisa turned a townhouse that was drab and uninteresting into a space that is warm and welcoming. They were able to look at the space and adapt it to what would be comfortable for me. The colors, the fabrics, the furniture placement, all were completed before I actually moved in. We discussed what I liked as far as colors and my life style They were able to move from that to creating the perfect space. I could go on but I don't believe I am doing the job they did justice. I now live in a townhouse that is completely done, and I love it!!

The work was great, the support through a stressful time was even better.

I am in the process of getting my house ready to sell. I needed some updating to the kitchen and master bath. There were also a number of things that needed to be updated or fixed. Gary was able to come in and look at the total house and help put the whole process together. The work was done in an efficient and timely way. The kitchen is a new color with tile accents, that bath is beautiful and I have a new closet that works great. Working with someone who is creative and also budget minded is a great combination. The job worked out much better than I envisioned.
