The plumber sent had a great attitude!

Steve was prompt, explained everything and did great work.

No one diagnoses and repairs needed for hot water heaters. Our guy came out & literally took less than 10 seconds looking at ours, and immediately said, "you need a new one". So, I said OK a few hours later, and the next day it was installed. I took the burner/igniter unit and gas control valve out of the old heater and found the failed igniter. The price of both parts that I would have replaced totaled $75 & time would've been 1.5 hours for me (a mere amateur) to complete. I spent $1300+ for a new heater...would have been great to known this available option. I paid $79 to have the guy drive to my house, not diagnose nor even TOUCH OR LOOK at my heater, and tell me I needed to buy a new one. Now I have a hot water heater, and so far, the pilot does not go out as my old one did, and it should last quite a while. Just sayin'...

The only reason the value For the work got a lower star Rating is because the initial estimate (according to "the book") for the work was for $450. I am still unclear if the estimate from "the book" is home advisors suggested price for the job or if it is the company's suggested price. When I questioned the price being too high a phone call was made and a decision was done Immediately agreeing the price quoted was ttoo high and they lowered the price to $228. A price I was satisfied with. I just wonder how many would not have any knowledge of the job at all and would have paid the original price double the actual cost. I believe the technician on site was honest and sincere and his work and knowledge was impeccable. I would not hesitate to hire this company again however, I would certainly pay close attention to the pricing. Ken

I have an issue with gas leak around a fireplace. Fireplace company stated it was gas line going into fireplace. Plumber stated it was a bad connection on the fireplace. Called fireplace company to come back out.
