Description of Work: replaced fallen ceiling in dining room and repaired areas of damaged wall plaster; created 2-sided display & storage cabinet between dining room and adjacent breakfast nook; painted room. During paint job, noticed a leak from rear of house, so also repaired and repainted back of house. | Went well. Scheduling was sometimes off by a few days because of need to rely on a carpenter for building the display/storage cabinet. | Very pleased with the result.

+ 1 more. He was extremely meticulous. He really took his time to finish and his work is absolutely beautiful, perfect and flawless. I think that is what he prides himself in. I was amazed at how smooth and perfect the walls look after it was done. I would use him in the future. But interestingly I used another painter.

+ -1 moreThe work took 2 1/2 weeks to complete. There was some major cracking in the plaster and the brick that had to be filled in and then meshed. Most of the work that took the most time was in the stairwell as we have a 2 story stairwell and with replacing the ceiling took some time that high up. There was a lot of dust created with this renovation and John and his crew kept our home as dust free as he could. John and his crew did an excellent job with the whole renovation.
Description of Work: Our home was built in 1889 and had not had a major renovation in both of our foyers and back stairwell. John and his crew stripped off all the old wallpaper (dating back to the time the house was built) and many coats of paint. Repaired the major cracks in the plaster as our outer walls of the house as brick outside and brick insider, so the plaster on the brick was repaired. He also replaced out the old ceiling with new drywall for a fresher look and then painted the whole job with a newer updated color.
