The service was fine. They did a good job and were easy to work with. They weeded, did leaf clean up and general landscaping.

I asked for a drainage solution along the side of the property combined with a water feature and he said he couldn't do it. I told him I had another contractor coming to look at it on the weekend and he wanted me to send him the information the other contractor gave me. The Angie's List ad said I would get estimation and plans, which I didn't get from him. I think he should have refunded my $49.

Things went well when the weather cooperated with the install. JD was very accommodating working around the deck builder and working with me to pick out plants. After the first night the plantings were in the deer got to a couple of them and JD replaced those plants. There were a couple adds but all were agreed to prior to the work being completed and the adds were added at my request. Everything went as planned and JD was very easy to work with. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

It went very well. We had some communication delays, but other than that very professional and will definitely have them come out again next year.

JD Dunninaday Landscapes did terrible. The plants were all the same and then one is different and it's huge and it stands out like a sore thumb. I think my husband called him and I don't know if ne just never got back with us. I think he did that group-on. I think he was overwhelmed and got more business than he probably bargained for and just couldn't handle it. We would not use him. As a matter of fact, we didn't use him this year.

We were trying to sell our home and were living in our current home as well. They were taking care of both homes from February through May. This included snow removal in the winter and continued to take care of the lawns into May and June. We had a lot of showings at the home we were trying to sell and they worked very hard to keep that house looking pristine. The house ended up selling very quickly, and I think that this company’s work had a lot to do with it. We even had some slight damage to the deck at that home and they fixed that for us very quickly, so that it did not affect any showings that we had lined up. They were even great about receiving last minute emails from me letting them know we have an upcoming showing for the home and if they had not just tended to the yard they would fit us in to get it done. The owner was out to the new home just last evening and we are going to update some landscaping that they have been working on with us for the last 2 years.

They did an excellent job in a timely manner. The owner fit my job in very quickly so that I could get my house up for sale.My backyard looks good again. With all the overgrowth removed the yard looks 30% larger .

Andrew was very responsive. It was a little challenging to execute the work because of the weather, but he did a good job of communicating as needed. The only issue I have with the finished product is that I had expressed my preference for black satin mulch and he had stated that the triple hardwood is the same thing. I don't at all care for the appearance. I think it looks like dirt without mulch. So, now I need to go top dress the entire yard with what I want. Although not a huge issue, it's something I feel strongly enough about to fix.

I was very proud of the job they did for us. Cutting the grass out at first and then applying soil and finally laying the Sod. The job went smoothly and without any problems. They cleaned up the street where they unloaded everything after they were finished. The Owner Andrew provided us with a Watering Guide and as of posting this review our grass looks like it came from Ireland its so Green. I would use these guys again in a New York Second without any hesitation for landscaping needs in the future.

It was incredibly hard to connect with him. We did have some weather issues at one point but when he came out here, he was really nice. We just got the quote from him just this morning I guess. It took him 3 weeks to get back to us with the quote and it seems like a very reasonable quote for the work so we just have to talk about it tonight and see how we are going to handle it. I know he's incredibly busy that's why it took him a while to get back to us.

On 4/22/14 I purchased 16 hours of landscaping services. I sent the following message with the purchase: "I would like an agreed to punch list of projects before work is commenced. I would also like to see verification of liability and workers compensation insurance. Thank you." On 5/2/14 Mr. Andrew Wasserman, J.D. Dunninaday Landscapes' representative, met with me at my house and I explained the work that I wanted done. He told me that he would write up an agreed upon "punch list" for my review. That was the last communication I had with Mr. Wasserman. On 5/9/14 I left Mr. Wasserman a voice mail inquiring when work would commence and reminding him that I had not been provided with verification of liability and workers compensation insurance. That same day I sent Mr. Wasserman an Angie's List message asking when work would begin. On 5/12/14 I sent Mr. Wasserman the following Angie's List message: "We met to discuss the project on May 2. Having not heard from you, I left a voicemail on your phone on Friday, May 9 and I e-mailed you on the Angie's List site that same day. It is now Sunday evening and I have had no reply." I requested that Mr. Wasserman refund the purchase price of the service I had paid for but not received. To date, I have had no response. On 5/12/14 I sent Mr. Wasserman my proposed review and offered him a final chance to refund my payment before I posted my review. Still no response from Mr. Wasserman

I have used this company for several years now. Their work is always first class. Last fall they also did some leaf removal and trimming of bushes and perennials. They are always willing to discuss and make suggestions on lawn care. Prices are reasonable.

I received an email from Andrew Wasserman, with a date and time for an appointment. Shortly after, Andrew emailed me again to cancel the appointment, saying he had a conflice. I phoned him, and he agreed to stop by my house and leave an estimate. He indicated that since I had described the work needing to be done I did not need to be present and he would stop by at his convenience. I have not received an estimate to date. Phone and left a message, but my I have not received a response. I get that it is spring and landscapers are busy, but it only takes a few minutes to write up an estimate...

I purchased the Angie's List deal to have my yard mowed. I was able to get in touch with Kyle, who said he would send be over within a few days to give me an estimate on my lawn. Eight days later, I received an email with a quote for my lawn. I wrote back within two hours and accepted his price, and asked him to please start at his earliest convenience. He said he would be over the next Monday. He did come over, saw the yard, and realized the person he had asked bid on my yard had estimated it $10 too low. He said because it was late and he needed to leave town the next day, compounded with rain earlier in the day had pushed him behind schedule, he did not mow my yard...and he did not tell me. I checked in a few days later to see what was going on, we exchanged several emails and finally Friday night, he came over. He explained the situation, said this wasn't how he normally like to do business. He mowed my yard and said because the person he had bid my lawn came in $10 under, he wouldn't mow it again....even though I offered to pay him $10 more.

They were excellent and scheduling was fine. I have used them at least 3 or 4 times since.

I first used them around 2012. They were very responsive, timely, etc. I continued to utilize them, but they became a lot less responsive. It would take more than a week to get a response. Sometimes the job would not get finished for several weeks...even though it was simple to do. I responded to their fall email soliciting business for winter clean-ups. I was told that they would get back to me but it didn't happen. Basically, they are a great company, but I suspect that they are growing quickly and need to hire someone who can take care of the "back office" while others are in the field. The owner is a hard worker and a great person. I hope that they get better. Sometimes companies go through growing pains. I think that they are at that point.

Company always does excellent work and I rely on them for both our home and the house we have for sale. Andrew responds quickly and the work is always as promised. All the mowing of our yards during the year is done by JD Dunninaday Landscapes and we have many compliments on your yard and how it is maintained - all due to Andrew's attention. Excellent company, excellent work whether general maintenance or large landscape project. I can't say enough good things about them.

They did a really great job. There were no additional fees with the Big Deal. Three individuals came out and it was easy to communication with them while they were here doing work.

It went very well. Couldn't be happier.

Andrew came over to provide an estimate within 2 hours of us calling him. We got a written estimate same day and signed the contract the following day (Sunday). Work commenced the following Tuesday and was completed in a day. Andrew need to drive to near Pittsburgh to find sufficient flats of English Ivy at no extra charge. The work was done exactly as described we are very pleased with the results.

They are VERY reliable. A little pricy, but worth it.

This is a wonderful company. Ordinarily, I do all my own yard and garden work - mowing, edging, weeding, raking, blowing, sweeping - because I'm very particular about how I want it to look. For several years I have hired JD Dunninaday to supply and plant new trees, bushes, and some flowers, and keep the garden edgings looking good. I have also hired them to mulch and clean out garden beds. This time, I called him in a panic a few days before we were having a large dinner party because I realized I didn't have time to devote to yard and garden. Although they don't ordinarily mow lawns as part of their business, they came the day before our party, mowed our lawn (plus a neighbor's lawn which I normally take care of), raked and blew leaves, edged the garden borders, were very careful not to disturb landscape lighting, and left our lawn, front and back, looking beautiful. I highly recommend this company!

Andrew was very responsive, polite, and easy to communicate with by texting, phone, and email. All promises were kept. The pricing was competitive--a bit (but not much) cheaper than other bids for the same work. We would definitely use them again.
