I am very happy with the service and will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

The yard has never looked so good. This job took a few days to complete. Andrew was in contact through out advising when he would arrive and on what day. Despite the amount of mulch,top soil and yard debris involved with this job, the premises were clean when the work was completed.

I called them. I had had a very good experience with these people before. Andrew came ,looked over the work to be done and sent an estimate by email the next day. I signed the email as a contract and submitted a 1/3 down payment. Four people came for three days and I look great now.

I contacted this company based on the very positive reviews from others who had used them in the past. My call was returned promptly and Andrew met with us on a weekend for our convenience. We needed a significant amount of landscaping performed--damaged trees removed and new ones installed as well as taking care of drainage and erosion issues. Andrew was very personable and seemed enthusiastic about the work. The plan was that he would be in contact via email with an estimate. Unfortunately, through some type of misunderstanding or technology glitch, I didn't receive the bid he sent via e-mail after our meeting, so I went with another contractor.

Great! Promptly returned my request for estimate/information, visited property to provide estimate, gave suggestions on jobs we should/shouldn't consider, etc. Completed work very promptly and exactly as set forth in estimate. The yard looks great. Would hire them again in a second.

I purchased a commercial office building in Mt. Auburn that needed some new landscaping. Additionally, some of the existing landscaping had become overgrown and needed to be thinned out. Andrew worked with me to sketch up a rough plan and gave me some good suggestions of low maintenance plants to use. Andrew and his crew took about 3 days to complete the work (and there was a lot of it). I was very happy with the work and plan on using him for any additional landscaping I need at that location. I have worked with plenty of landscapers in the past and they can be a flakey bunch. They usually all to good work but they are a little questionable when it comes to punctuality. I did not run into any of those problems with Andrew. I currently also use them to for snow removal.

Andrew contacted me promptly, came out to view the site, and provided a quote within a few days. There was a slight delay in getting started (a week or two) due to storms and damage Andrew got involved in cleaning up; Andrew coordinated closely with me so I got no surprises regarding when the work on my job would get done. After agreeing on a date for the work, his crew showed up on time and completed the work with no mess. A great team to work with.

Andrew responded quickly to a request for an estimate and was able to schedule the job approximately two weeks later in August. The demolition of the shed and grading required the use of a Bobcat, which was expertly operated by Andrew's associate, Kyle. All of the debris was hauled up to the street and into a dumpster. After grading and laying topsoil in spots, the ground was seeded and straw blown. A hemlock too near the house was taken down and stump ground, using a sub. I was impressed with Andrew's professionalism and communication was excellent. I would use JD Dunninaday again.

I was very satisfied with the work they performed. The backyard used to be an embarrassing eyesore, but Andrew designed and executed a great landscape that is low maintenance and very pleasing to the eye. The job took slightly longer than originally anticipated, but Andrew kept in constant communication and was very flexible as my wife and I tweaked the project along the way. Andrew was very knowledgeable when it came to which plantings would suit our needs, and he followed up with detailed care instructions after the project was finished. Considering the work performed (especially lugging all of the materials up the stairs), the price was excellent, and gave us a true feeling of value. The only flaw in the landscape was a result of pre-existing conditions rather than Andrew's workmanship. One of the runs of stairs is less walkable than the others, but this is primarily due to the construction of the original run. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the project.

I worked primarily with Andrew, who was very personable and professional. The quote was very reasonable for the work completed (see above). The team worked quickly and completed the job on time despite temperatures in the high 90's most days. Andrew met me for a final walk-through to explain what he had done and answer any questions I had. He even purchased a soaker hose to be sure the plants would get watered!

If only all contractors were this thorough, professional, diligent & easy to work with. I would hire them again with no hesitation.

We moved from NYC, to a house we love in Cincinnati two years ago. Our enthusiasm for gardening and yard work is spotty to none. The previous owners had flower beds and beautifully landscaped boarders all around the yard. After two years of neglect and a very, very busy Summer, our yard was an embarrassment, an overgrown forest primeval. I found Dunninaday on Angie's List along with a couple of other companies who do similar work. Andrew was the first to return my call and we set up an appointment for the coming weekend. Andrew was prompt, professional and friendly. We walked the property and I gave him my wish list of all I'd like to have done, but wasn't sure was within my budget. My other concern was the we were having a large party in just two weeks and I'd like to get the work done before the event. Andrew was able to do everything within budget and was able to shift his schedule around so the work could be done before the party. His crew pulled weeds, cleared beds and put down river rock around one tree, lava rock in one area and mulch everywhere else. They did it all in a day and a half -- it would have taken us twelve weeks! They were careful to leave the actual plants that were not weeds and the yard looks fantastic. Andrew also does more traditional landscaping and we will have him remove some dead bushes and replace them with something flowering.

Three workers came each day for 4 days. They were diligent and polite and made some useful suggestions, which I accepted. Andrew came back for a "walk around" to be sure work was OK. We hired them for monthly Maintenance.

Andrew was polite and on time when he came to look at the place. He promptly sent me an email a few days later detailing all the work. He was available and willing to answer any questions I had. When I called and ordered the work, he immediately scheduled it. The weather, however, did not cooperate. Andrew and his crew had to come out three separate times to finish the job thanks to rain, each time very professional and prompt. He apologized very much for the delay, which of course wasn't even his fault! The yard looks great!

They did an excellent job. Prepared soil well, planted right & a good attitude.

Very well. The weather was an issue but Andrew always showed up when possible. He took away all of the yard waste and left the place very clean.

We were more than pleased with this company and we will most definitely use them again for future work.

I had contracted for a local landscaper to do some work over the weekend. They failed to show up. Angie's List recommended JD Dunninaday. I called them on Friday and they showed up Saturday morning and completed the job without charging me an extra amount because of a Saturday or quickness in my need - in that I had 3 cubic yards of top soil in my driveway, plus hay, plus seed that had to be put in the ground immediately. They showed up and immediately tackled the project and their price was very reasonable.

I was impressed. Andrew came to my house the day after I called, and gave me an estimate within a few days. They did the work about one week later.

They called us right away and they were reasonably priced. They are here when they say they will be and do what they say they will do. They have been amazing. My husband used to own a landscaping company and I have struggled to find someone as good. These guys are awesome! They are detailed and conscientious and so eager to do a job that will please the customer. They even put a design in the mulch with the rakes. They will go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. I would recommend them.

Andrew arrived early and ready to work. He worked quickly but with care. Throughout the job, Andrew kept the work area tidy by raking and putting debris in bags. He also removed the bags from my property. His knowledge of plants was extensive and I was very impressed with his work.
