.The service came in the morning while my husband was still home. Rang the doorbell and introduced themselves, then cleared the leaves and left. I have only praise for the quality of the job they did. My husband said they seemed like very nice people.

They called one time and said they would call back later in the week. We heard nothing. No messages were left. We had leaves that needed removed and rain was coming. We did it ourself to save the grass. We would like a refund please.

We have been using Dunninaday for lawn cutting/trimming for over two months. Although we have used only two other yard services over the years, Dunninaday is our favorite. When they first came out to give an estimate, we walked the property they performed, and they discussed what services they performed and how they would cut our yard. When we pointed out a couple of tough areas in the lawn, they offered reasonable solutions, and we agreed on an approach. Ever since, we're been on autopilot with them -- they come and go as they deem necessary -- and each week the job looks the same, with everything we discussed at the first meeting being handled as promised. Other things we like: their cost is the same as the other services we've used; their work is high quality; and their behavior on the job is conscientious, courteous, cheerful, professional, and accommodating. Simply put: they are grateful for our business, and it shows in their behavior. Better still, they cut the grass only when needed, rather than sticking with a rigid schedule. By this I mean, during the heat of summer, when grass growing slows, they extend the time between cuts. I like this approach. You don't feel they're cutting the grass needlessly (and wasting our money). Further, during the spring, when we got a lot of rain and parts of the law was marshy, they would use a lighter-weight mower on the marshy areas to avoid gouging the yard, which we greatly appreciated. They've been the only service to do the latter, and as a result our yard is smooth and looks great. We will hire them again next year to cut our lawn, and intend to try out their mulch service next year, too. A great experience.

Fantastic. I have used Andrew's services before and will definitely call him again when we are ready to go with phase 2 on the exterior of the house. the crew was prompt, hardworking, thorough, and cleaned up beautifully. Andrew came by after it was done, gave us some extra weed prevention to keep it clean while we decide how we want to use the space, and gave us advice on what grass to plant. His price is always extremely competitive and he is quick to get the work done. We are very happy with his work!

Extremely happy with the service provided. Back yard has been completely redone and looks great. Even helped set up a sprinkler system to cover the sod and grass seed. They did a great job keeping in touch with us throughout the job, any schedule changes, etc. and walked us through each step of the job. All of the employees were very professional and did excellent work- they were obviously very concerned with making sure the job was not just done, but done right.

The job was started in late May. I went out to Ammons Nursery and picked out the new trees and bushes. Andrew came out with me and picked them up in his truck. He loaded them up carefully and fully tarped them for the highway ride home. Then he planted them and mulched around them Then we had delays from our concrete contractor who was doing our stamped concrete patio so Andrew waited to finish the job after they were done. He came out the second week in June and removed all of the dirt and debris that was left by the cement guys (this was for an added cost but was well worth it). After the area next to the patio was cleared out he regraded the dirt so it was below the new patio and then mulched the area. He also ammended the soil under the mulch so I can plant and grow ground cover there over the next few years. I have a beautiful looking backyard thanks to Andrew and his hardworking crew.

We had some plans drawn for landscaping our backyard by a designer. We needed help with the heavy lifting of taking down a retaining wall, bringing in fill and re-sloping the backyard. We hired Andrew and Kyle to take care of this stage of our plans. They did exactly what we asked and are detail oriented. They were very easy to communicate with and were timely with questions. I would hire them again without hesitation.

They were really great. They were extremely helpful and professional and got things done on time. I spent around $3000 on that work. They came out on time and were extremely helpful with ideas. We recommend them to other people.

Everything went very well. He responded quickly to come and look over the work to be done, supplied us with a detailed estimate, was ready a day early to begin the work, and finished in two days. He and his helper worked hard the entire time. No complaints, whatsoever. Would definitely hire again and recommend to others.

A crew came in and cleared the yard of leaves (lots of leaves!!). They were prompt, setting up the appointment was easy (phone calls were returned quickly and as needed. Communication was excellent). The work saved me hours of time. I thought the price was a bit high -- or at least was hoping it would be a bit less expensive. But the guiding factor here was, good work, timely effort and hassle free.

It has gone very well. Over the past few years I had other people come out and do what they do, but they are the most economical and reliable company that I have came across. This has been a very good experience for me.

I heard about JD Dunninaday through the online auction for the Cincinnati Arts Association. I won a landscape evaluation. Andrew gave me a landscaping estimate in the spring. When I needed the work done, Andrew arrived at the agreed upon time with the revised estimate. Within a few days I had steps and a garden plot. Replanting grass around the steps was postponed because of the drought. Andrew returned last week and sewed grass seed like he said he would and the job was completed, I was very pleased with the professionalism and punctuality.

The work was done professionally and we felt the job was done right. He estimated it would take about two days to complete. We had additional work performed that Andrew had not originally estimated for so the work took a couple extra days, which was fine with us because the additional work was substantial and the extra time was reasonable.

Contacted them based on good reviews on this list. They came out promptly and mowed my lawn. They provided an estimate for monthly yard maintenance that seems high, but to be fair I have not price shopped this service. The price for mowing my yard is about $7 more than I paid each time for mowing of my double lot in my previous home, however.

This company was the most responsive and contacted me in a timly fashions with the plan and cost estimates. I did not like two of their suggested plants, so they subsituded others that I preferred. Work was completed when they said it would be and the crew was corteous and professional.

Anderw came when he said he would for the estimate, they started when they said they would and they finished on time. They did a tremendous job and I was fully informed around every aspect of the job. I highly recommend them. I have had other companies (some small, some large) and these folks are the absolute best!

The back yard is an enormous shade garden that requires a lot of attention every spring. This is the second time I have used this company for this effort. Andrew and his crew do great work with an eye to detail. Services included weeding, application of weed prevention, trimming of hedges, trimming of ivy, cutting back bushes, removing a dead limb, delivery and spreading of mulch and hauling away debris. There were delays in doing the work due to weather, but Andrew kept me informed of where I was on the schedule. I will no doubt use them for the final clean up this fall.

The team was prompt and thorough. I was really impressed with the edging - the beds look great! The biggest improvement though fixing a brick patio and laying new steps. Our patio looks great and is no longer dangerous!

Excellent service and excellent work. Contacted us back via phone and email and very responsive. Their service was great and they even squeezed us into their schedule as fast as they could. I would definitly use them again and look forward to future landscaping projects.

Regarding the gardening, I have not been pleased. It did not seem as though they knew very much about landscaping. I wouldn't reccommend them to others if they are looking for landscapers. They did fine with mowing but I was unhappy with their cleanup.

We chose Dunninaday based on Angie's list reviews. Our regular mowing service claims they do landscape services but did not return our calls for weeks. Andrew responded to our call right away, listened to initial requests and visited our property by himself to prepare a proposal. His original proposal seemed off the mark, too drastic and we questioned various items. He offered to come out and walked through with us that Saturday to clarify what we wanted to achieve. Andrew was very patient and really listened well throughout the visit. Our priority is what we see looking out from the house, we don't really use the yard. Jobs, injuries etc make it ever harder to spend time doing dreaded yard chores we have come to hate. Andrew totally got all that and made several suggestions to deal with overgrowth and options to simplify ongoing maintenance. One suggestion we took was not cutting overgrown shrubs back too far at one time, do it in stages to maintain their health and leave buds for some flowering in spring. He was detemined to reuse stones to keep costs down for the revised stone walkway, and he did it. He emailed the revised proposal to us later that day and they started the job the following Monday. He and crew were knowledgeable about plants vs. weeds and cleaned up very well each day. He pointed out poison ivy that had invaded some areas and arranged for immune worker to remove it. During the job Andrew asked us how they were doing and trimmed some bushes further at our request. We test walked the new path and he adjusted some stones to improve the flow. Despite losing a day to rain they finished on the original timing. Just 2 weeks after our initial call the work was completed and our landscape looks great now. Even our picky lawn manicurist neighbors had no complaints, they actually complimented the results and crew work habits. We are totally satisfied with the work, money well spent. We expect to get Andrew back for fall clean up, possibly some planting, and we are considering his proposal for regular weeding service to keep the yard from running wild again.
