They were wonderful. Andrew is the owner and he was wonderful to work with. The only difficulty was with the rain we've had and having to reschedule because of it. That's not his fault, though and he was very accommodating with the rescheduling.

I contacted this landscaper after reading good reviews on Angie's List. I need to sell my home and I want to update/install landscaping. The owner was busy, but said he would send out someone who lived in my area for an estimate. The gentleman who came out worked for this company sometimes; he concentrated on plumbing work. After we walked around my property (5 acres) and discussed the work that needed to be done, I learned that he didn't have any price information. He would tell the owner what I wanted and the owner would get back to me with a quote and let me know when he could schedule the work. The plumber let me know the owner was very busy. I think he still is. I haven't received a quote. In the meantime, I hired another landscaper.

The most recent time they worked for us, they mulched, pruned, edged garden beds, and planted 2 fairly large trees. They arrived on time, did a good job of clean-up, and we were completely satisfied.

I started with this service in mid-May and had been very satisfied to date.

The team from J D Dunninaday did a superb job. The back has never looked better, and the edging and mulching were great. Our yard looks better than it has in years, We couldn't be happier.

WHEN I FIRST CALLED IN APRIL, I LEFT A MESSAGE. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS FOR ANDREW TO GET BACK WITH ME. HE HAD TO RESCHEDULE OUR APPOINTMENT, BUT EXPLAINED WHY. THE CONSULTATION WAS AWESOME. HE LISTENED INTENTLY. HE WROTE EVERYTHING DOWN. GAVE AWESOME FEEDBACK AND IDEAS. HE EXPLAINED THAT HE AND HIS CREW WERE PRETTY FULL BUT WOULD TRY TO MEET MY END DATE. THE WEEK OF MY END DATE HE CONTACTED ME TO INFORM ME WHICH DAY THEY WOULD ARRIVE. THERE WAS A SMALL DELAY ON THE DAY OF THE ARRIVAL, BUT HE HAD CONTACTED ME THAT MORNING TO EXPLAIN. UPON ARRIVAL ,WE DISCUSSED ONCE MORE WHAT I WANTED DONE. AFTER THAT, THEY WERE HARD AT WORK. THE CREW AND ANDREW WERE AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY AND HAD A GREAT SINCE OF HUMOR. THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS TOTAL BEAUTY. MY YARD TURNED OUT AMAZING!!!!! I WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I DO SUGGEST PATIENCE TO EVERYONE. AFTER THE INITIAL CONSULTATION, MOST OF OUR CORRESPONDENCE WAS VIA TEXT OR EMAIL. A FEW DAYS WOULD LAPSE BEFORE I RECEIVED A RESPONSE. BUT I KNEW HE AND HIS TEAM WERE BUSY. BUT ONCE IT IS YOUR TURN, YOU WILL BE NOTHING SHORT OF PLEASED!! I LEFT FOR VACATION A FEW DAYS AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. IT IS ONLY NOW I AM ABLE TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW.

JD and his team were very professional. They showed up for work around 7:30am and worked all day until 5pm. It took approx. two days for completion of our yard. His workers were there the entire time.

They were very complete, very friendly, professional and I was very impressed.

They worked hard and cleared out an overgrown part of my yard. They cleared away the debris. The team worked well together and were efficient. They did reschedule a few times, but that wasn't a big issue for me.I hope he offers this big deal again.

Responsive, but job too intense dor him. Complicated drainage issue

SUPERB businessman. I put out feelers to four landscaping companies from Angie's List to get quotes on a cleanup of our yard in preparation for selling our house, followed by weekly mowing. Andrew from Dunninaday blew the others out of the water. Even had his price not been competitive I would have chosen him simply because he returned my call promptly, was on top of the details, and did not give me the slightest hint of runaround.Andrew and his crew of three showed up exactly as scheduled and worked at an impressive speed. They did edging and mowing of our grass, mulched or top-dressed all of our beds, trimmed some hedges, and removed deadwood from a tree I hadn't realized needed it. They were courteous and detail-oriented and although I kept a close eye on them I never felt like I had to rein them in. Although mine is apparently one of the smaller yards in their care they never showed signs of doing other than their best work. Their service was completely worth the money I paid for it.Because of this excellent performance we continued to call Andrew for weekly mowings. After several calls we finally ended up just asking him to come every week, and paid him to maintain the yard after we vacated the house. He is so reliable that I don't feel I need to send anyone to check on his work. I know the job got done. His mowing timing was flexible and when we called him to get on the schedule he came immediately every time. Perfect!

I chose this company because it was highly rated on Angies List to secure a bid to repair my patio pavers. I left a message on June 6th and as of today still haven't heard from the company.

There are always two sides to every story, but in the end three things are facts- the work was not completed as committed, I believe this company was overwhelmed by the business the coupon generated, and my experience from scheduling to execution was poor. To assure the work was in spec and completed I sent pictures of what was expected along with an email description (clean yard debris stack from side and rear of residential barn and remove 6 old landscape 4x4s from around a bed.) I also met the vendors manager Andrew on site several times. It would be tedious to detail how many delays we had in starting this project along with miscommunications regarding arrival times and dates for follow-up visits. It was not a good experience made worse by the fact that each time I had to follow-up with the vendor to find out why something wasn't complete and when would it be rescheduled? From the beginning to the end of the project there was never any claim that the work was out of scope or couldn't be completed. When I finally got a call this week that the work had been completed, I checked the site and the work was only 2/3rds complete. In fairness to this vendor, I was told that poison ivy was found which required spraying before work could continue. I understand that and wouldn't want anyone to work in a dangerous condition, but the work on the side of the barn is only 90% complete and the area behind the barn wasn't touched. I wish that Andrew would have just told me he didn't want the business or that the business was beyond spec or, best yet, he would have advised me that for $XX more, because of expenses his team incurred, that the work could have been fully completed. That didn't occur. As Andrew said in a recent phone call- those coupons are a recipe for disaster- I agree.

Original date planned was delayed by a week due to bad weather which was understandable. I was not at home while the work was done. The entire area looked better each day as work progressed. On completion, the entire property was neat and groomed well. The owner, Andrew, called on completion to confirm everything was complete, and sent an invoice.This is my third experience with this company since 2008. The quality of the plants, work and level of service has been consistently excellent.

We really liked Andrew from last year's experience but we were very disappointed with his responsiveness this year. As you know with Landscaping, timing is everything and we needed the job done within a 2 week window. Unfortunately since we didn't hear back from our emails we had to go elsewhere. Maybe they didn't want the job or didn't have time for it, but they should always respond back to the customer so we know what to expect.

We contacted Dunniniday at the end of March. Kyle responded that he would be be happy to schedule a time to come out and estimate the job. We emailed back and forth a couple of times with Kyle saying he would be coming out. After a couple of weeks, we called and he said he could be out in a few days. Once again, he never came. After three weeks of this, we hired someone else to do the job. In the end, we were very surprised and disappointed with the lack of professionalism and responsiveness.

Contacted this company because of the good reviews on Angieslist. Left message and company contacted me within 1 - 2 days. Perspon who contacted me said that he was busy with a project, but would contact me during the weekend to schedule an appointment to evaluate my lawn. Failed to call over the weekend, but contacted me early the next week to schedule appointment. Later that week, he left me a message indicating that he was unable to make appointment due to another job and would be most likely be able to schedule another appointment within the next week or so.I sent Company an email telling them that it appeared that the company was too busy to service new customers. I received an email back with an excuse as to why the Company had to cancel and that the company wasn't too busy to for new customers. Didn't like the the customer service nor the tone of the response. After the owner read my review, he contacted me and truly apologized for the scheduling difficulties and any miscommunication. I appreciate the fact that he called me and apologized.

The results are fantastic! Andrew was a complete professional from giving the estimate, through completion of work, and finally settling the invoice. He was very responsive and polite. He was adaptable as well. I asked him to move up the spring clean-up and first cut date because the weather has been so warm. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job quickly but thoroughly. The yard looks great - like a model home!! He also operates with utmost integrity. I overpaid the invoice for the spring clean up because I thought charges for mowing were also included. Instead of simply cashing the check and not clarifying with me, he made sure that I knew exactly what was due now (landscaping work only) and that the cost for mowing wouldn't be due until later. It was a real pleasure working with him. Professional and the price was right. He's my landscaping guy from now on!!

On all of the projects we were highly satisfied.

These guys were prompt, friendly, informative. They did the job as described on the estimate quickly and efficiently.

It went great! Everything was beautifully done as promised and the bushes have never looked better. I really appreciated how conscientiously and efficiently this was done -- from scheduling it to completion.

They did a great job, and with the coupon they had...it made for a fair price. I would use them again.
