What impressed me, despite the actual experience with their service, is that the company carried over our five plowings to this winter despite the clear understanding that they expired in July 2012. This is above-and-beyond professional and couteous customer service. I clearly understood the deal -- they didn't have to do that just because I got "unlucky." But they did.

I wouldn't try this business again.

They were just great, and it was a fantastic experience. In fact, they were efficient, quick, and cleaned up everything quite nicely.

I was acquainted with JD Dunninaday Landscape through a Big Deal earlier in the year. I called them again when I realized I could not clean up the yard as I had hoped. Andrew arrived to assess the work, provide an estimate via email and we agreed on a start date, deposit and contract. The weeds were sprayed on 2 different days (they didn't want to die) and the work ensued a few days later. We kept in touch via email as weather conditions changed and made the appropriate adjustments. The crew arrived and immediately got to work. They work well as a team and are efficient and thoughtful in their work. A really pleasant and nice group of people to work with. They have good knowledge of trees and plants, saved many plants that they discovered in the overgrown beds. The timing of materials was like clockwork, on the day work began the dumpster was delivered, when they needed the compost it was there. The dumpster was picked up as the mulch was delivered. Andrew and his team take pride in their work, they cut in beds with a shovel versus a weed wacker, they take care of the trees, bushes and plants, know which are which and work well as a team. They don't take the easy way out, they do the job right, i.e. they dug the roots out of an overgrown honey suckle that must have been a foot deep. Andrew is easy to work with, communicates well and is a good landscaping partner. He even managed a difficult neighbor politely and with kindness. It was a lot of work, achieved in a few days. The yard looks amazing. I'd definitely do business again with JD Dunninaday Landscape and have referred them to two friends.

All went well. Owner was courteous and kept me informed as to when they would be out and what they could do. The crew worked constantly and effectively. We were pleased with all that was done.

They showed up on time and they went right to work. They were very polite and professional.

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's list to have my fall yard clean up done. The coupon was for $249 for 8 hours of yard clean up. I should have known the Deal was too good to be true. The fine print was not clear in that Angie's list meant $249 for 8 man hours of work. Our yard is 1/2 acre with a lot of leaves and it usually takes 8 hrs to do the job. They brought three men to begin the work. Needless to say, after 2.66 hours of work by the three men, the coupon was used up. This left me to pay the balance of the work. Andrew offered the work to be completed at the same hourly rate as the coupon. I would have expected them to offer that, but they could have charged a higher rate. They completed the job in two days, as they did not come to see the scope of the project prior to commencement, and did not know all that would need to be done. They returned the next day with four men and finished the work. Due to the overwhelming response to the Big Deal for this company, they didn't have a time to come do the work for over three weeks from the first contact with the company. So if you purchase the Deal, you should expect that there will be difficulty in picking a time and day convenient for you for the work to be done. The team Andrew assembled worked very hard and were apologetic for not being able to complete the work sooner. The work done was as good as other yard clean-ups I've had with other companies. I would recommend them to others for the same work. I would not recommend purchasing a Big Deal unless all of the "fine print" is more clearly stated.

The work was postponed a few times because of bad weather, but that's no one's fault. This was one of the big deal offers, so I'm sure these guys were very busy fulfilling their commitments, yet they squeezed us in and managed to do a good job removing a lot of very damp, heavy leaves. Nice guys, too.

Scheduling coordination was quite a hassle, although this was in the spring when I'm sure they were swamped. When the guy showed up, the work was swift, thorough, and spectacular.

They showed up as scheduled and performed the desired services. They continue to come on a regular basis to perform the services.

My husband bought one of their $200 Angie's Deals. I was skeptical. They're extraordinarily busy in the fall, so it did take a while for them to get to us. But they kept us posted about when they might be here. They called my husband the day before. They were going to be a little late the morning they were to come, and they emailed to let me know. They got it done in a day and the yard looked great when we returned home.

This company is very reponsive, When I call Drew with a question he returns my call the same day. I highly recommend this company!

The first time we used them, they were very good. The second time, I had to call and have them call back. They didn't do such a good job so they came out and redid it now we are pleased with the service.

We had an appointment for them to come out to give use a bid on some landscaping projects. The guy did not show, i called to ask what happened, he said he was over booked and could not make it that day. So we set up another time, he said ok because he was close by finishing up a job. The guy never showed!

Responded to a Big Deal offer, vendor was responsive in getting back to me and followed through on the lawn cutting in a timely manner. Referred to a neighbor who also used their service this summer.

The work was never performed. UPDATE: The owner of the company contacted me and apologized for our mis-communication. He had been overwhelmed by the response to the deal that they offered and had gotten behind. He agreed to send a crew out to complete the work, which they did. I was satisfied with the work that was completed.

I needed someone to clean up my yard and flower beds. We are seniors, my husband and been very ill and I work full time there was not al lot of time for upkeep of the yard especially since we had a painter/stucco repairman leave a lot of misc. things in our yard which I could not move nor get rid of. JD Dunninaday gave me an estimate which I considered very fair due to the amount of work they had to do. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up the mess left from the painter/stucco repairman, my flower beds, and my yard including cutting and edging the grass.

They did a good job. Job was delayed several times and follow through was not the best

We've used them before. They brought a whole lot of workers this time; it was more so than the other two times. They got it done in a pretty quick amount of time. The results were good and they used quality mulch. We thought the price was fair.

I contacted Andrew over email and he said that he could stop by the house and give us an estimate. I have a busy job where I am often in meetings and unable to make a lot of phone calls, so I appreciate that he communicated over email. There were a few times that I had to call him when I hadn't heard back after an email. Whenever I called, he would call back quickly. He stopped by one day and gave me an immediate quote. I emailed him a few days later to let him know we wanted to move forward. It took a few weeks for them to get to our work because of other jobs and rain. They completed the job and everything was exactly as we asked and very nicely done. The beds looked much better than when we do it ourselves! I've found that it is not easy to find someone who gets the job done correctly the first time, even when it's something simple, so I was very happy.

He gave an outrageous estimate because they were growing pretty high up. They were winding around a power line, so I did understand that there was some danger involved, but I still felt that the price was too high for this type of job. He was going to send me a written estimate, but I decided that it would be better that he give me a range estimate now instead of wasting the time later. When he told me the price, I declined the service from him and found someone else that trimmed the vines for a lot cheaper. I had called other companies for estimates and they did not return my calls, so it was nice that he did return my call and showed up for the estimate.

Excellent, still waiting on some small modifications.

They did a great job on the service. I used an angle's list deal, but bought the mulch directly from them. They were prompt on returning calls and showing up for estimate and to do the work. I would have rated much higher, if they hadn't cut the wire for our invisible fence and then tried to get out of paying for it....originally said that the fence company would repair it for free (which I knew wasn't true) and then said they'd pay, at most half of the cost to repair it, even after admitting it was their fault for not asking if we had a fence. The owner was also very aggressive in arguing over the money. Of note, he did call later to apologize.
