+ -1 moreShe is a very good Stylist. She is a master colorist and she just seems to do what you want her to do. The service turned out very well. I think the price is comparable or maybe might be a little cheaper than most places. I would use her again in the future. In fact, I am going to call and make an appointment for next month.

+ -1 moreThere was a very good sale on the contact lenses I ordered and the service has always been impeccable. The glasses I ordered last year are the best and most clear vision I have had with glasses. They are the top quality Zeiss lenses which were expensive even with insurance. However, they are definitely worth it. The staff gives sincere and superior service.
Description of Work: I ordered contacts from a prescription that I had previously had last year. I had purchased eyeglasses last year when I had my eye exam.

+ -1 moreI felt at this rate I wouldn’t have any window treatments for months and who knows what the cost would be. So I fired her and said I’m sorry but I just can’t do business with you. The woman was just not prepared to deal with such a big order or something. I needed someone that could do the job efficiently and at a good price; and JCPenney wasn’t the one for me. I choose a very high rated window treatment service and had (22) wood blinds installed in less then three weeks.
Description of Work: Mary Price was assigned to be my window treatment specialist. Mary called to set up the appointment and at that time we disused what type of window covering I would like. I was told by another major store that I could not have wood blinds because of the type of windows I have. So I told Mary that I would like fabric type blinds or roman shades for (22) windows On appointment day! Mary and I went over the different types of fabric shades and she brought fabric samples out to choose from. I told her about another store telling me I couldn’t have wood blinds and she never said yes you can. She took window measurements for only part of the house and wrote down what shades and fabric I picked on a work sheet. Yes she did go over the many different styles and options to choose from, but never said OK sure you can have wood blinds. I was told that it would take a week before she would be able to give me an estimate. Plus she said she would have to come back to finish measuring the rest of the house. She said she had to look up prices and measurements before she could give me an accurate price. So now over a week goes by and I have not heard from Mary. I left her a phone message and an e-mail with no reply. She finally called after a second phone message. She started telling me about family issues and how she needs two more days off and it’s going to be another week before I get an estimate. Now keep in mind that she still needs another appointment to measure the rest of the windows and another week or more for an estimate.

+ -1 moreWe visited the store to look at custom roman shades. The store was having a sale and we were able to use another coupon to get an extra 10% off. We worked with Asha to place the order. She was fantastic to work with. She told us when to come in to order to get the best sale price. She recommended a contractor who would measure and install the blinds. They did a good job. She was very thorough about writing down the measurements and rechecking them. Our window treatments arrived within 2 weeks. They were packed very nice. The quality is excellent. After the treatments were hung, we noticed 1 of the latches was faulty. I called Asha to let her know and she was so nice. She ordered a new blind right away. I took the faulty blind back after I received the replacement. We will definately order custom blinds through JC Penny again. They were great to work with and reasonable.
Description of Work: Made custom flat roman shades for solarium. We also used the recommended installer.

+ -1 moreHelene was very helpful in helping to pick out what type of window treatments we wanted, what fabrics and what all the related hardware. Once the selections were finalized, prior to ordering, the installation person came out to verify the measurements, etc. When the treatments came in, I was contacted to set the time for installation. Installation went smoothly and once installed, I was shown how to operate the cords, etc. All the people involved were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. All packing material was removed after installation.
Description of Work: Custom made Roman shades for 4 windows and the installation of them. This is their interior decorating service, and not any department within the store. Appointments are made with an interior decorator to come to your home with fabrics, treatment styles, etc.

However, while the rod pockets were the correct size I ordered, due to the fact they were fully lined and no additional size allowance was done, the rods I planned on using did not fit. While, I realize this is partly my error, the sales person who took the order should have been aware of this potential problem and advised or at least suggested that I might want to make the pocket larger to accommodate the added material. I ended up having to use the header for the rods. Otherwise, the workmanship and quality of the material was good.
Description of Work: Custom order for special size curtains... total of 3 sets. These were ordered at the store and did not include any installation. They were shipped directly to my home.
