I unfortnately, gave the provider my check for $6,000.00 as a deposit for the construction of a covered patio addition. After almost 3 months of delay, with only the window task completed, I dismissed the provider and requested my depost back less his out of pocket expenses. After another delay of 6 weeks I received the provider's check for $1,764.02, with the statement that the $4,235.98, was deducted from my $6,000.00, deposit because it represented the provider's cost for the task completed. I demanded a detailed listing of the items with costs that made up his $4,235.98. To date, the provider has submitted nothing but a random list of tasks with no fees associated.
