Chris and Tom were very professional and courteous while performing the inspection of the home we purchased. They were on-time, actually a few minutes early, for the appointment, went over everything with us about what was included and what was excluded from the inspection. Chris explained all of his findings to us and provided possible ways to fix the easy things that didn't require professional contractors to fix. He also explained the more complex things that needed to be fixed by professional contractors. By doing this, he gave us the knowledge of what ask for when we requested the current home owners fix a few of the complex issues. The report Chris gave out in the end is very thorough and easy to understand. He provides an e-mail copy of the report very quickly, so you have time to compile your list of requirements to send over to the current home owner. Then he follows up by sending a professionally bound copy in the mail for you to keep and reference for the future, so you don't lose track of other items you may want to address on your own down the road. Chris and his assistant were friendly, quick and meticulous. The inspection was very professional and informative. The best pictures and details I've seen from an inspection report.

Chris did a thorough job and it helped us a great deal in understanding the condition of the home we were purchasing. His report was very detailed with useful illustrations. Sent us a binded hard copy of the report for ready reference. He was very patient with our questions and provided honest answers.

I am a "Holmes on Homes" addict so, I was expecting a lot out of Inspector Chris... and, I am happy to say, he delivered! There is always a time crunch when it comes to getting a home inspected within the time frame of a purchase contract. Chris called us back right away and set up a date that worked for us. He was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He inspected the house from top to bottom, inside and out, and gave us a detailed report, with photographs, that was over 100 pages long. He emailed us a PDF file of the report and sent us a bound copy by snail mail. He provided clear, unbiased information that we were able to use to negotiate a better deal with the seller. This is actually the second time we used Inspector Chris in our search for a home. The first time, he alerted us to numerous problems with the home's electrical system and foundation that were too big for us to handle - he saved us a lot of heartache and money... Which led us to the house we have today... We highly recommend Inspector Chris and are grateful for his insight and his honesty.

Chris was there on time with someone assisting him. He did a very thorough job. He provided a very detailed report to both me and my agent. I was not able to stay during the inspection. He met with me before and gave me a walk thru of the problem areas after.

Chris Green was very professional, punctual, knew a lot of details about relevant building codes, and was able to quickly assess actual situation vs code or standard. He also had inspected a lot of older homes, which this house was, and was able to give relevant advice about what condition should be expected for this age house. He had an excellent process, the report was much higher quality and thoroughness than I expected, and Chjris was very proficient and productive in his use of time.

He knew what he was doing, he take pictures of everything, and he put all the information together and puts it in a binder, which is helpful. He is knowledgeable in a varitey of fields.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it turned out excellent. He came here and did a roof top, radon, termite and checked outlets. He did all sorts of stuff. We earlier had him look at a property that we did not end up getting and then we had him look at another one. His customer service is pretty excellent and he explained everything. He said he had a construction background and so he explained it to me, who doesn't, as to what and why things are the way they are so that was very helpful. We had some issues with getting the reports. They kept getting kicked back saying they were undeliverable. He took pictures and it was nice to know he was not sloughing off or that we were not getting brushed off. He responded pretty promptly to any emails I sent.

Chris did a great job and his report is super thorough. It has alot of details and pictures so I could use them to hire companies to fix the issues. He also helped us with a termite inspection.

He was knowledgeable and nice, but was lacking on the customer service side with the follow up. He charges the same amount as a professional engineer.

Chris and his team were very professional, on time and very thorough in the inspection of a very large home. I was encouraged to follow behind during the inspection and ask questions. They did multiple tests as are needed on this year of home. I felt he has a vast knowledge of all aspects of structural, mechanical, and safety aspects that are valuable when purchasing any home. He was willing to speak to the sellers vendors who were making repairs and answer any questions that they had. Though the inspection was several weeks ago he is willing to return soon to go over the report with one of the purchasers who was not able to be present at time of inspection. I would certainly call Chris and his team in the future before we list the home in order to make sure that we have addressed all issues that might concern a future buyer.

Chris had several discussions with the engineering company and despite their reluctance to go on the roof due to the steep pitch, he was able to show the damage from the ladder of the soft metals. In addition, he called on a certified roofer and the certified roofer sided with Chris. While we are still in the final phase of resolving the issue with the insurance company, I trust Chris will continue to push to a get a fair and equitable solution. I will provide a final review upon final agreement with the insurance company.

The representative was on time and very professional. He explained what he was looking for and what he was finding. His report was emailed within a day or two, and he sent a very nicely bound hard copy of the report.

I contacted Chris to do a complete home and termite inspection as well as a radon test on a home that I am planning to purchase. Chris quickly arranged the appointment for the inspection through the seller's realtor. On the date of inspection, he and his assistant arrived on time. His inspection was extremely thorough. He took the time to clearly explain his findings and answered any and all questions I had. During the inspection, equipment was set up to conduct a 48 hour radon test and the results were included with the report. Chris provided a very detailed inspection report. I quickly received an electronic copy by email and he followed up with a nice hard bound paper copy. The report included detailed findings with pictures and recommendations. He also includes items such as models and serial numbers for appliances and HVAC equipment, which will be handy for future reference. I was able to use information from Chris' inspection to have issues fixed by the seller prior to closing. I was extremely pleased with his services and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We were very impressed with his services. He was extremely thorough and detailed. He really took his time explaining everything to my husband and I- which we needed as this is our first house! He found many issues with the house and as a result saved us thousands of dollars! In my opinion he went above and beyond my expectations. Because he found damage on the roof, he needed to met with the sellers insurance adjuster and another inspector at a later date. We highly recommend him and would definitely use him again!

He was very thorough & very good. He found some electrical wires in the attic that weren't spliced into a junction box, he found the vent in the bathroom was full of lint and dust, and he found a circuit breaker in the panel that had 2 leads coming off of it.

I normally use another house inspector but due to scheduling conflicts, I gave inspector Chris a call. He responded very quickly and was priced competitively. He came out to do an inspection on a multi-family home and within minutes identified major deal-ending issues. He was kind enough to not charge me full price and explained why the house was a lemon. The headache and thousands of dollars Inspector Chris saved me were worth every penny and more. I am eternally thankful to him and would highly, highly recommend!

Chris arrived on time and gave the house a complete inspection from top to bottom. He explained in detail his findings from the roof, electrical, hvac, appliances, deck and many things in between. He noticed things that the realtor nor the protective home buyer saw. He was amazing.

Chris arrived on time and got straight to work going over the home with me. We had another inspection performed one week earlier and the "inspector" said everything was good with the home we were buying. After finding this inspector was not ASHI Certified, I contacted Chris after finding him here on Angie's List. Chris answered the phone when I called at 9:00 pm and quickly scheduled my inspection. Chris saved us from a potential huge repair had we not found him. You cannot go wrong with this inspector and I will certainly use him again if I need an inspection. Highly recommended.

It has been quite a while since I have worked with them but it was a good experience. I do not remember the cost of the service. The service worked very well. We got a lot of contacts out of it and we were able to sell the house with the benefit of that book that we had. Their price was also good enough.
