Inspector C.H.R.I.S.

We used him twice. The first home we had inspected had more issues than we were willing to invest in. The inspection on that home was worth every penny. Home number two, we felt comfortable after the inspection to purchase the home. For each home we got a bound copy of the inspection report. My realtor was impressed, she is adding him to her list. Chris and his assistant were early and professional. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This is the third time I have hired a home inspector and Inspector Chris is by far the best I have ever used. Chris and his team pointed out things I have never had inspectors show me before and spent a good amount of time explaining all aspects of the property. Any time an issue arose Chris thoroughly explained the consequences of what could happen if not resolved. They even included detailed information and pictures of the properties grade (slope of yard) which no other inspector has ever mentioned to me. I will definitely use Inspector Chris again if the need arises.

The inspection was thorough and very helpful to my husband and I as first time home buyers. Because of his inspection, we were able to request a costly repair to the roof... and when we needed additional documentation on code to support the request Inspector Chris provided it even after the inital inspection. The inspection report itself was thorough and came with pictures--as well as recommendations. A week or so later a bound copy was received in the mail for our records. Without reserve I will encourage everyone I know who needs an Inspection to go with Chris!

InspectorCHRIS was OUTSTANDING in every way. I contacted him because some friends of mine who speak limited English and are not familiar with American home-buying processes were on the cusp of buying a home without having had an inspection done. After I and a few other friends convinced them they MUST have an inspection, the time to arrange one was very short. I contacted InspectorCHRIS to see if he could squeeze them into a 2 day window when the utilities would be on. He not only fit them in, but due to the home buyer's work schedules InspectorCHRIS agreed to meet them in the evening. So accommodating! (And I'll add here, too, that we used a Craigslist coupon, so the price could not be beat.) The news was bad - tens of thousands to be spent on multiple serious problems with the water line, the electrical wiring, the foundation, leaking basement, mold and the list goes on. Thank goodness all of this was brought to light before my friends closed on the house. And thanks to InspectorCHRIS walking my friends through the house to show them the problems, they did not need any further convincing to bail on the home purchase, preventing what would have been a true financial disaster. Chris was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process of scheduling, the inspection itself and the reporting, and the report itself is extremely thorough, with dozens of photos documenting problems, along with diagrams of warning signs and the corrective measures needed. Chris is both an expert in his field and a true professional who clearly invests a great deal of care and concern for home buyers into his work. Anyone considering buying a home would be well-served by having Chris on your side.

he was already there by the time i got to the home, and he was courteous, professional and very very thorough. i would highly recommend him to anyone who need's an home inspection done and i will be using him for sure on any future home inspection's.

Chris was very professional and personable. Besides checking what was wrong he also gave suggestions of things we could do to improve the house. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend him to everyone. He has an A+ rating on Angie's List and I can see why.

Chris was already in the driveway when I got to the house I'm buying and he immediately went to work starting with the roof. I went to say hi to the homeowners and when I caught up with Chris, he was on the side of the house and he dropped the bad news on me that there was a lot of movement in the house. The cracks weren't big but there were many and he found more inside in the foundation. Chris also educated me about the breaker box and how dangerous it is. At the end of the inspection, Chris suggested hiring a structural engineer which we did. The engineer found there were no anchors tying the house to the foundation causing the movement. Chris is a very intuitive inspector and his strength comes in the incredible report he puts together. The 94 page report acts as evidence for negotiating repairs needed and also as a reference for all the little repairs in the months and years to come. Chris is a pro and I couldn't recommend someone more.

It went great! The gentleman who performed the inspection was a wealth of knowledge and experience. He was thorough, professional, and friendly. He answered every question we asked even the ones we thought may be kind of "off the wall". Mike was passionate about what he was doing and it was clear to us that we made the right decision using Inspector Chris.

Today I had a home inspection with Chris, he's very good with houses and you can tell he's know what he's talking about. He's very nice, professional and he was there on time. Fantastic value. I had quotes for more than double for the same service. Not cheap by any means but worth absolutely every penny. 4 people were on site for the inspection (1 was in training). All very helpful and extremely thorough. Seller's agent wasn't too happy with the over 100 page report but I really felt I received the most thorough inspection that could have been provided. Very knowledgeable in both regulations and recommendations over and above what is per code. Would recommend to everyone. Chris, DJ, Mike and Steve...great job! Thanks for your efforts.

It went fine. He had 48 hours to return the inspection to us and he used every minute. He said he was waiting on the termite guy so it might not have been his fault. He was very thorough. We didn't get any reports on the fireplace, we were a little disappointed with that. He was a nice guy and we would use him again.

Chris did the work in a short time frame. He was extremely responsive when I asked questions. Final report was very thorough. Would definitely use again. Radon was outsourced and the provider was equally good as Chris.

All involved were thorough, easy to talk with, and straight shooters. You can tell Chris has seen all kinds of crazy stuff throughout the years. The report was > 100 pages, including pictures, manuals, etc. This makes a pretty useful reference if you do buy the house.

Chris was on time, professional and very thorough. He prepared a detailed report that was provided the next day. He included information on what was major and what was minor work. He also advised of a change in code and advised of a recall item. The only disappointment is that the air conditioner could not be checked out because it was on the roof which was on a third story roof in a high-ceiling building and he was unable to gain access. It was not his fault though. Would use him again.

He was awesome! He was responsive in the days leading to the inspection and after. We are purchasing a home in the Cinci area and are in Pennsylvania and needed someone that was reliable and detailed. He was there on time. Very professional and took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. They took their time and went through everything with a fine tooth comb. The report was very detailed and the pictures and explanations were clear and concise. Even our very experienced realtor was VERY IMPRESSED with his professionalism and report. Based on the inspection that was performed we backed out on purchasing this house. Thanks to the very detailed report, we saved ourselves from something that could have been a money pit. We are DEFINITELY going to use Inspector CHRIS again. I cannot stress enough..we would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Cincinnati area.

Chris performed an exceptionally detailed and complete inspection. He supported all his findings with pictures. Our realtor stated it was the most detailed inspection report he had seen in his 25 years as a real estate agent. I would highly recommend using Chris for your home inspection.

Chris was extremely responsive, emailed us right away and available to speak on the phone. We showed up about 10 minutes early to the inspection and Chris and his assistant had already started the inspection. He seemed very knowledgable and told us more specific details about the roof, furnace, deck, electric and plumbing we weren't aware of. We ended up not going forward with the house due to the number of updates and changes that were required.
