Description of Work: Our experience with Inspector CHRIS was fantastic. He performed an inspection on a new home we bought. He and his colleague provided a thorough inspection and straightforward explanations of their findings. I learned more about home safety in the few hours with them than I even knew was possible. The report is like the owners' manual for our first house. It's also an incredibly helpful budgeting tool as we finalized concessions with the seller. He is professional, passionate about the work he does, and current on topics in his field.

Description of Work: I would recommend and use Chris and his team again. Service is top notch. While Chris is a bit more expensive than some of the competition, home inspection is not the place to cut corners, and personally I left the experience satisfied that there was sufficient value added by Chris to justify any slight premium. Also, I would recommend accepting Chris's invitation to attend the inspection if at all possible. Chris was engaging, happy to answer my questions, and very instructive in that regard.

 + -1 moreI received a 76 page report in a hard binder report that said the roof had mold. The estimated repair for just the roof was $17,000. The $350 inspection fee that I paid for was worth it. I left that mold home, I was so glad to have a quality company to turn to. He and his crew were very thorough and arrive right on time. He was very easy to work with and he got the report back to me very quickly. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering buying a home, they could save you a lot of money.

 + -1 moreChris arrived right on time with two helpers. They got right to work and did their job with minimal input from me. He turned the report around very quickly, emailing me a copy within two or three days. The report, which was extensive, was easy to read and featured a lot of photographs. He has a very sharp eye. Our real estate agent said that the inspector caught things that others would probably have missed. Chris apparently has years of experience in the building trade and that pays off when inspecting a structure. I believe that Chris would be especially good for buyers of a property because he is so knowledgeable, detailed, and because his report is easy to read.
Description of Work: Inspector Chris came out to inspect our home so we would know what we needed to fix before we put it on the market.
