Inspection was smooth and easy. Noticed a lot of stuff that I would have never looked for or most people wouldn't check for. Was given a thorough report that was very easy to read and understand.

It went very well. John Cordell's people are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Inspection Plus is hands down the best in the industry in the Cincinnati area.

We had them inspect the house we were buying back in May - by June, we had a full lawsuit on our hands because the addition on the house, the bathroom, is literally falling off the house. the floor is being held up by a rotted 'deck' and you can touch straight through the crawl space underneath to the tile of the shower. How does this pass inspection? Now we're having to go through layers, lawsuits and a lot of money, when if it was caught in the inspection, we wouldn't have bought the house with over $30,000 of issues because of this addition.

Very well. The inspector was very professional, and answered all questions I had. Since this was a condo, inspection was only of the interier, and was completed within two hours.

There was some confusion about the billing though because my husband did it on Angie’s List and then when the person came, they told me I needed to pay and I didn’t realize my husband already paid so it was a little bit of a hassle getting the money back but they did a good job. Be more informed about whether someone pays or not or maybe I should be more informed, I don’t know. The woman who came to do the testing was good. She was very professional and did a good job.

We actually went with another inspector but Inspection Plus was quick to respond to my inquiries. Unfortunately they did not have an opening on the day we were available.

This is my second home inspection with Inspections plus. John (and Patrick too) is very knowledgeable, observant, and efficient. He takes his time and carefully surveys every bit of the home he can, documenting and taking photos along the way. Then at the end he talked with me about what he observed. He provided excellent perspective on every question I had.

Patrick showed up promptly at 8 am and performed a very thorough inspection finding many items we had initially overlooked, and pointing out things that we should keep an eye on as we live in the house.

I contacted this Company on 01/14/2016 to set up an appointment for a whole house inspection at a property we were going to buy in Clermont County. They set us up with Patrick for an inspection to be performed 01/18/2016. Patrick arrived at 0900 as promised and proceeded to inspect this property thoroughly and professionally. He found a laundry list of items that totaled over 20K in potential costs we would have incurred if we placed our trust in the seller's inspection report. He did a complete job and we couldn't be happier. Not only did he perform an A+ job on the job but he is also personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend this Company to anyone looking for a fair, professional, unbiased group to assess the condition of your property. Thanks again!

Don Crum was awesome! He was very thorough and walked me through every little piece of our new home. He explained possible maintenance and repairs for everything he saw, big and small, which I appreciated. He was also very patient and answered any and every question I had. Great nothing found, no worries

I had three inspections by Inspections Plus. The first two went very badly, and I did not buy those houses thanks to Inspections Plus. Each inspection was the best $380 I had ever spent. The $380 included the termite inspections. The inspectors were extremely thorough and answered my many questions. I had Don Crum and Justin Knox for my inspectors. I would recommend using them again. In my second house inspection, Justin actually gave me the option of stopping the inspection for half price after discovering large portions of mold and a horizontal bowing in the basement wall in the first twenty minutes. Unfortunately, I continued, and it only got worse from there. Don performed my first and third inspections. He was very thorough. In my first inspection, he discovered poor insulation causing a prematurely decaying roof and a garage that really needed to be torn down, on top of some other issues throughout the house. For my third inspection, he was running late from is morning appointment and gave me a courtesy call to let me know he would be starting an hour later that afternoon. It worked fine and the inspection went well.

The entire process was smooth from the day when I made the inquiry for what would be included to the inspection to making the appointment. Don was our inspector. I arrived at the home where we were interested in purchasing at the time he was supposed to arrive. He was already there. He must have arrived early. He was very professional, and polished. After speaking with him for a short amount of time, I could tell he was knowledgeable. I called my husband and shared that I am so glad we are in good hands for our first home inspection. I left and returned a few hours later. He shared the full report with my husband and I. He was very detailed and walked us through every step of the home where he found an issue or something that should be brought to our attention. We ended up not moving forward with that home as there were so many issues but we do not regret the home inspection. We are now finalizing a home purchase with a different home. We thought of this company and Don again. I called right away. I recommend this home inspection to anyone. 5 stars. FYI, we had the home inspection, termite inspection and radon testing.

He was helpful. He found some old wiring that he thought might be questionable, but after looking up some information about it afterwards, he determined that it was fine. Several things that he noted as defects have since been corroborated by others.

Inspection Plus is not the company you want to hire to inspect a house you're selling or one that you're buying. Patrick Naughton was the inspector. He left lights on, ceiling fans on, 2nd floor attic was open, empty soda can in the front yard., dragged dirt through the house (on the newly installed carpeting). I called and left a message for the owner, John Cordell. To this date, he has failed to call me to address the situation. The inspector, Patrick Naughton, called and promised to come close the attic and address the dirt on the brand new carpeting. We set a time for the following Sunday. But, I never heard from him. Not to this day. He blamed the issues on other people that he let roam the house while he was doing his inspection. WHAT??? Why were others allowed in the house without his supervision??? I called and left another message for the owner, John Cordell. But, again.......he didn't bother to return the call. One more thing......Patrick Naughton was so derelict in his duties that he didn't even write down the correct address of the house on the report!!! The house number was wrong, the street name was wrong and the zip code was wrong. My next call will be to the Amiercan Society of Home Inspectors. DO NOT HIRE INSPECTION PLUS to do an inspection of your house !!!
