Although the purchase price is small for the door sweep, I want people to know that Indus employees will not return a phone call or email if you have a concern. (Consider this fact before entering into a contract with them. ) This is something they could have fixed very easily by replacing the defective door sweep. I have sent 3 emails with photos, 4 phone calls - two went to Indus' general voicemail, one to George's (salesman) voicemail box and one to his cell phone. No phone calls were returned nor were the emails. I started contacting them on June 11, 2013 and my latest attempt was this morning, Aug. 2, 2013. Not only has this been an issue with the door sweep but we also had problems with the door we purchased from them. I should have known when we ordered the door and were promised a delivery date which came and went by months, that this was not the company to deal with. They had so many excuses. I believe we paid around $1200 for the door. Next, the door leaked and they said it was not covered under the warranty so we had to pay to have the door caulked. If you leave a message with Indus saying you want to purchase something you will receive an immediate phone call. If you have an issue, you will not get any satisfaction from them. I would never buy a door from them again. So, looking back, there have been multiple problems with little or no customer service from Indus.
Description of Work: Bought a replacement door sweep for a wooden door they put on a few years ago. Door cost about $1200.

This started in November 2010. After multiple contacts, paying their service fee to come on-site and inspect. We then learned the same model of glass insert was no longer available. 1. Purchased new front entry way for my home in April 2008 from Indus Construction. 2. During 2010, the glass insert began to separate and we contacted Indus Construction on November 15, 2010 to begin a warranty claim. 3. Indus dispatched a representative to review the claim (for a $35 service charge). 4. Indus contacted us on November 18, 2010 to accept the warranty claim and begin processing with the manufacturer. 5. We were then contacted and notified that the model was no longer made and a replacement would need to be selected. Through a series of catalog exchanges and personnel changes, processing was delayed until July 2011 6. Replacement Glass was ordered on July 22, 2011 for a deposit (>$1000) and a processing fee 7. transaction was posted on 7/26/11 8. Replacement Glass arrived on 8/12/11, tried for a week to get a response to return the defective glass. Finally drove it to the office and was received by an installer and signed for on 8/26/11 9. Sales Order calls for a deposit refund within 10 days of receipt of defective glass. 10. Through a series of emails, Indus indicated that credit would be issued the week of September 4th,11. 11. after multiple calls and emails. ALL HAS GONE DARK. No return calls, no email responses, office is locked during posted hours (multiple attempts) More than 45 days have elapsed since the defective glass was returned, and after repeated attempts to contact Indus Construction, no credit has been issued, no return calls or email replies have been made to bring this matter to a close. Am now processing claims through Credit Card company and Small Claims court (if needed). I hope you can learn from my mistakes.
Description of Work: Indus completed a remodel of the entire front entrance of the house in 2008. (>$4000 project). Summer of 2010, glass insert failed and was covered under warranty from the manufacturer. Indus was contacted to handle the warranty claim.
