My husband and I visited the Ideal Garage Solutions website to see what was available. The website included photos of completed epoxy and garage organization projects. It also showed before and after pictures. We liked what we saw and called to make an appointment for a free estimate. Chuck Shoemaker, the owner, returned our call the same day. He made an appointment for a time that was very convenient for us. He told us we might want to visit the AE Door & Window Company showroom where we could see installations of the epoxy floors. Seeing the installations made it much easier to imagine what color combination might look best in our garage. Chuck called to let us know when he was on his way for our appointment, and he arrived at the agreed-upon time. He engaged both my husband and me in the discussion about the project even though it was obvious the makeover was my husband’s idea. Chuck gave us a catalog showing the cabinet and floor finishes and showed us samples of the various floor epoxies and cabinets. He also told us about cabinet configurations and products to help organize our garage. We had trouble deciding between two different floor finishes and three different cabinet finishes. Chuck was very patient and didn’t apply any pressure to hurry our decision. My husband and I discussed the color choices after Chuck left. We decided to have both our garage and front porch floors refinished. Chuck brought the color samples back during a follow-up appointment and we made our final decisions at that time. We also showed him an inscription in our garage floor that we made when our house was built. He assured us it would be preserved. Ideal Garage Solutions offers cleaning and storage service, but we decided to clean and empty the garage and front porch ourselves. The work started ten days after our initial consultation with Chuck. The workers patched, painted, or re-mudded the ceiling and walls. They prepared the garage and porch floors and applied the epoxy finish. They applied a clear coat over the inscription on the garage floor so it was still visible. They installed the cabinets and organizational products. The cabinet installer pointed out some very minor shipping damage on one of the drawer fronts and told us it would be replaced. The entire garage project took less than one week in spite of very cold temperatures. The porch floor was refinished the next week within several hours. There were several workers involved in the project overall. All were courteous and arrived on time. They let us know when they arrived and when they were ready to leave for the day. They tidied the work area before leaving each day, and thoroughly cleaned the space when the project was complete. Chuck brought the replacement drawer front to us. He checked the quality of the entire project at that time and made sure there were no problems from our perspective. Based on information we had from other epoxy floor and garage organizer companies, our project’s cost was higher than some but lower than others. The cost was well worth it. We’re very pleased with the high quality of Ideal Garage Solutions’ work and the professionalism of every person involved in the project.

Our house was built ~3 years ago. We had been wanting to have the garage floor coated to keep down on maintenance and for a nice visual effect. After meeting with 3 companies in the greater dayton area we picked Ideal Garage Solutions. Chuck was the only person to not give the sales person vibe in our discussions. It was as easy as just discussing our desires and getting a quote. He was the reason we decided to go with the company. Scheduling and payments were extremely easy. The day the team arrived, it was clear they knew what they were doing. The explained everything and immediately got to work. We were shocked at how well they cleaned up before leaving. Our garage floor looks amazing! We will use them again if we ever move. Having the garage floor coated was 3 years overdue. We wish we would have done it sooner.

Professional consultation, workers showed up on time and did a good job. Expensive option but worth the money to get the spallation and pot marks removed off the top layer of the concrete before the epoxy was applied. Floor looks great!

Our experience with Ideal was fabulous. Chuck, the owner, came out quickly to give an estimate. It was a bit higher than we expected, but our floor had some major cracks that needed a lot of work. We scheduled to have the work done just a couple weeks later. The guys showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They got to work right away and finished the job the same day. I was super impressed by them all around. The floor looks great and you would never know how awful it was beforehand.

Work was completed in a timely manner and looked great upon completion. Workers suggested floor covering be used to cover baseboards as well in that area and worked quite well. Totally solved our problems of water damage when basement drain backs up due to roots in line.

Ideal Solutions did a great job and the garage looks like brand new. The crew arrived at about 8am and was finished by 3pm. They explained how to care for the floor after it dries and did a good job of cleaning up at they left. Definitely worth the money.

Two guys came on time and proceeded to grind a smooth out the floor before applying the coating. The fellows were very professional and attentive to detail. They did a terrific job. The results were awesome.

The install was ordered and installed within a week. Two men arrived on time, asked how where and how low the shelves were to be installed, went to work, and had it done that day before noon. The shelves are very nice, sturdy, and look good too.

Overall, very well. Job completed in one day by two installers. The new floor replaces a 40 plus year old concrete garage floor that was badly pitted and cracked. It looks great! Only two complaints which resulted in a B (rather than an A) for professionalism: 1. Much of the dust that was raised in the preparation remained in the rear part of our garage (adjacent to where the work was being done) which required much sweeping and dusting on our part. We believe this problem could have been avoided by placing a heavy plastic sheet between this area and the area where they were working to contain the dust. 2. Numerous "flakes" remained in both sections of the garage after the work was completed, also requiring additional clean-up on our part. This should have been done by the contractor. Otherwise, a great job!

Ideal Garage came on the day committed and completed the 3 car garage in one day. Extensive preparation was completed in grinding the floor, the apron, and all the side concrete showing. Finished product looks as good as the pictures and better than I hoped. All done per schedule. Love the finished product.

The gentlemen from Ideal Garage Solutions LLC were excellent. They brought the over the garage racks to our house, which we had no idea exactly where to put them. They measured the space, gave us advice of where would be good to install them, then they did the job very nicely. The racks look great! Our garage was a mess prior to installing these racks, now it's nice and neat. Thanks to Ideal Garage Solutions, we can actually park our cars in the garage now. They cleaned up, pick up after they were done. Left no debris at all. We are very pleased with the materials, labor, and the professionalism of the employees of the company. It was a very cold day to work in the garage, but the gentlemen didn't seem to mind. Just happy to perform their job, and did an excellent one. Thank you.

This was perfect. The professionalism was perfect. The work was done is an expedient fashion in all aspects. The scheduling was great - within three days or so. The time it took them to install was short - great. The price - fantastic! They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely work with this company again.

Awesome, the coordination on the appointment was effecient, the communication was great from the install team and they were very helpful with recommendation on how best to position the units in the garage.

Chuck came to my home to look at my garage floor and the work to be done. He provided a competitive quote along with the name of another contractor to some drywall repair and painting. His crew showed up promptly on the agreed date and finished all of the work exactly as promised. They left the space clean and ready to roll. I absolutely love the floor and several of my friends have already contacted Chuck about doing their floors. I can highly recommend Chuck and Ideal Garage Solutions. They were not the cheapest, but I received excellent quality and value!!

In a word, the experience was "fantastic". I looked at other companies before Ideal and no others came close to the professionalism and price that Chuck offered. I could go on and on how great of an experience this was, but compare yourselves and you'll find the same thing. I was moving into a new house and only had a few days where I was going to be able to treat the floor before moving in. I also wanted a custom color. Chuck was able to expedite the custom color and was able to get the job done before we moved in. The crew was also great. Also, the floor looks great!!! Overall, I can't imagine a better experience. If I could rate them an A+++, I would have!!!

Great experience from beginning to end. Chuck was responsive and the crew did an amazing job repairing the cracks and installed the floor coating. My garage floor had some large cracks that has now completely disappeared. There were a couple of small spots that didn't get enough top coat, but one of employees came right after Christmas and touched up the area. I am very happy with the transformed space and will use this company in the future.

We had a pitted garage floor, due to the ice, chemicals and the home just being 26 years old. We hired this company and they came out and in one day we had a new garage floor. It is just beautiful.
