Description of Work: This is the second time we hired Cody. He is a great all-around handyman. We found that he was able to handle the easiest to the most complex tasks. We asked him to hang a very large, old (ca 1850) and fragile mirror that was a very difficult hang. He was so careful and went the extra mile to call various experts, makers of epoxy, and colleagues to find a solution to a complex problem. I trust him. He hangs routine pictures so easily. You wont find one off center.

Description of Work: Needed gutters cleaned out on a rental property. As it turned out, the gutters didn't need to be cleaned but needed more maintenance/repair work. Cody took the time to explain what needed to be done and completely the work in a timely manner. He was patient in answering my questions. We will definitely use him again.

+ 4 moreI needed quite a few things done at my rental so I contacted Cody of Hunny Do Services (from Angie's List) and told him what I needed done. He told me up front that he was very busy but to contact him in 2 weeks if I had not heard from him. Turns out he was sick during that time so I called him back and he explained how his pricing works. So, I scheduled him for a whole day, and he came that Thursday and finished on Sunday. He showed up early and ready to work with all supplies needed. He did everything listed above except put on some gutter guards. It turns out that the product he has access to doesn't work on box gutters. He did do some research between Thursday and Sunday and told me that I might want to contact someone who specializes in box gutters. I appreciated his honesty rather than having him try to makeshift something that might fail. I feel that his honesty and fair prices will keep him very busy.
Description of Work: Re-caulked 2 bath tubs, did large sections of drywall repair in 4 rooms and made ready for paint, fixed pocket doors that had come off the rail, put extensions behind light switches that were shallow from a previous bead board job (done by someone else), cleaned the gutters, and repaired a fascia board above 1 window.

Description of Work: I contacted them about doing work on my kitchen. He emailed me back saying it would be no problem and he was scheduling jobs about 3 weeks out. I told him to add me to his list and he said since mine was a smaller job he doesn't schedule those, he just works them in and he would contact me when he could do it. That was about 2 months ago and I've never heard another word. Time to move on and find a more reliable handyman!

+ -1 moreAll the work was done over the course of 3 months when we were available. He did a great job, was mostly efficient, punctual, responsive, and easy going. We needed to fix things in the house to get our house ready for sale and he did most of the work in less than a week (spread out over time) The only thing he didn't do great, which was partly our fault because we rushed him, was the paint job in the kitchen.
Description of Work: Cody was very nice and performed several jobs: 1. Hang light fixtures. 2. Fix Door Frame. 3. Fix tile/wood floor junction. 4. Patch large holes in drywall. 5. Remove Formica counter. 6.Reinstall dishwasher after having counters replaced. 7. Fix garbage disposal. 8. Replace bathroom fans with new fans. 9. Paint kitchen. 10. Hang Drapery Rods. 11. Caulk Tubs. 12. Regrout tile in two tubs 13. Tap nails into baseboards of master bath and guest bath. 14. Replace faucets in master bath. 15. Hang towel and toilet paper rods in master bedroom. 16. Fix Manoj's closet, anchor pulled from wall 17. Fix drawer in kitchen. Drawer does not work. 18. Change cabinet handles in kitchen. 19. Patch and fix ceiling in storage closet.

+ -1 moreExtremely pleased with the entire process. Cody returned my initial call in <24 hours. Arrived at the scheduled time, and went over the projects I needed to be completed. He fixed old work that was previously done incorrectly, and finished the projects in a short amount of time. He also took the time to look at future projects I would like to have done, provided estimates for that work, and went the extra step of explaining different options I had for the improvements. Cody was very pleasant, professional, and reasonably priced - I will definitely contact him for projects in the future!

+ -1 moreThe price was too high and the work was not reliable. He came back reluctantly to fix the problem and it did not help. He was not personable. I do not recommend him to anyone. UPDATE: He was never called for heat service. I never offered him additional electrical work or any other work. He showed up unannounced right before I was leaving for work that evening and he had an attitude and did attempt to have the inflatable characters fixed but then they fell down. I am not a widow and never mentioned I was or anything info regarding that information to him.
Description of Work: This company advertised that there is no job too small. I called him to put up some Christmas lights around the holidays. He put up the decorations but they fell down that night.

+ 4 moreI had no problem getting in touch with him, he came out and looked at my issues and we scheduled dates to begin different jobs. He brought all the equipment he needed to work on all the individual jobs, cleaned up after himself. He arrived on the days that we scheduled (I have had contractors not show up when planned). Very personable and easy to talk to.
Description of Work: Cody did a wide range of jobs for me...as follows: ceramic tile in kitchen, install new track light in kitchen, install ceiling fan in bedroom, extensive plaster repair in bedroom, wired new outlets and replaced existing electrical outlets. Caulked bathroom tub and kitchen sink. He climbed into the attic and checked the insulation. While he was working in the bedroom, there was a wind storm and a tree limb fell and hit the gutter, Cody got his ladder out and repaired that also. He spent about 3 1/2 days at my house doing all the little jobs that needed to be addressed.

In addition to repairing my gutters, I needed to have some electrical work done in my basement. On one side of my basement the lights worked, but on the side they did not. Cody quickly assessed the problem was and fixed it. I lived in this house for close to 5 years but never wanted to call someone for fear of what the job could entail. Cody's price was very reasonable and am very satisfied with the work.
Description of Work: I needed to have the gutters in the back of my house repaired, garbage disposal fixed and some electrical work completed in my basement. When I initially spoke with Cody, I was very impressed by his professionalism and honesty. He let me know that right from the start that he was only interested in doing the work that I needed to have done and that I'd be totally satisfied when he finished. Cody was prompt and worked from beginning to end. It turned out my disposal did not have to be repaired and replaced. He showed me how to reset and get the disposal working, so I was not charged for that service. He repaired 2 light sockets in my basement and repaired the gutters in no time at all. When performing the work he took the time to explain to me what he was doing.

He was professional, pleasant, and speedy, and everything is working great. The cost was very reasonable. Description of Work: Cody was engaged to repair rear facia boards on our home to remedy some ''Masonite'' issues we encountered. This was not a routine job through a Masonite lawsuit however. Nonetheless, Cody approached this job professionally from day one and accomplished this job within 15% of his uneducated bid. This was a tough job requiring Cody and his colleagues to work at least 4 stories in the air.
