Cody was really easy to get in touch with and very responsive to my requests for services. He was very thorough and explained in detail what was going on to cause the leaks around and into the window and ceiling. His prices are reasonable and I found him easy to work with.

I called Curt at 9:00 last night to ask if he could install a curtain rod sometime today to cover the opening where my closet doors kept falling out (which they had just done once too often). He came over this morning and said that he could install the curtain rod today but he also advised me that I had other alternatives that would cost me less. He said I could replace the doors, if necessary, for less than the cost of curtains and a rod. He also said that he was reasonably sure he could fix the problem using the current doors, also for less money. He explained all the options clearly including what each would entail. I decided to have him use the current doors. He advised me that he would be able to return in about an hour to do the work. He called me before he came back (in about an hour) and he arrived shortly thereafter. He added material to the top and bottom of the closet opening, installed new tracks for the doors, adjusted the bottom part where the doors anchor into the floor and verified that they worked properly before he left. He measured everything (more than once, which warmed my heart) and cleaned up before he left. The man is a jewel. I started compiling a "wish list" of future jobs before he even left my house. You can bet I'll be calling for his services again, and again, and again!

I was very pleased. They were very professional and did a very good job of cleaning up. They marked everything so my neighbors wouldn't inadvertently step in any gooey stuff. It was a very nice job and I was very pleased. The result was very nice looking and much superior to what my neighbors tried to do themselves. It was worth it to have a professional do the work. I would definitely use them again.

Cody showed up on time with all the equipment he needed. He did exactly what he said he would do and more. I find Cody extremely competent, honest and trustworthy, not to mention very likable. I am totally comfortable leaving him at my house if I have to leave. I recommend him and will definitely work with him again.

Based on the glowing reports here on Angie's List, I attempted to contact this supplier for some handyman work around my home. First I sent an email, but got no response at all. So after a couple of weeks passed, I tried a phone call. However, I got a message that his phone mailbox was full and unable to accept new messages. I suppose this means he has more work than he can handle and has no need to return email messages or clear out his phone mailbox. Good for him, I guess . . . but if a business makes it this hard even to make contact, then I'll just move along to the next business on my list . . . .

Cody is excellent! He was actually suppose to do the job on Friday but because a job exceeded his normal estimated time he came out on Saturday to install my light fixtures. I had 2 lights on my porch a light on the side of my house and bathroom vanity light I wanted installed to update the look of my home. He was prompt, on time and very efficient. I will definitely be using Cody again for my next project. Give him a call you will not be disappointed. Oh and by the way his prices are extremely fair!

The response to the request was timely; he did explain that hours of labor could increase because of the area of install, age of building etc. He was diligent and precise. A few additional labor hours were necessary due to variations in the frame measurements. Very pleased with his attention to detail. Quality job for a difficult install.

Very responsive on the phone, came out and evaluated the job. But then I never heard from him again.

Based on my experience I would not hesitate to hire this handyman for another job if it is one he can do alone.

Work was performed efficiently, promtly, and professionally

The work was completed in a professional manner. Cody explained was wrong and answered all questions. I would call again.

I have used Cody before and was happy with his work so I called him to clean the gutters, pull the ivy and do touch-up painting. He was flexible with my schedule and as always did a good job. The mortar repairs were something last minute and I knew he was capable of doing the work, so he said he would stay and do this work also. His pricing is very reasonable. I will use him again whenever need be.

Cody is excellent to work with. If there was an A+ I would happily give him one. He arrived ready to work. We immediately got started discussing my desire to have the screens on my porch replaced. Cody was very honest in stating that the screens were not in bad shape and the cost to replace would be very expensive because the job would be labor intensive. He made some recommendations that would make the screens more effective and attractive without the high cost of replacement. He essentially talked himself out of a very lucrative project. We moved on to some roofing problems I was having with water coming off the roof and puddling. He made an excellent, cost effective suggestion and discussed in detail some of the long term issues of not addressing the problem. He will be performing that work on his next visit. He repaired and in some cases replaced the components of the window frames. He showed me the problems and was very patient in explaining the fix. I had several items that I identified as exterior repair. Obviously, that would be income for his company. Instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to make the repairs, he discussed with me the more immediate need to have the house painted. He talked about the potential downside of not moving forward with the painting and based on his input we decided to paint this year instead of next. Since Cody doesn't normally do exterior painting, this was another example of doing the right thing for his client that his expense. He offered to assist in finding a reputable painter. Cody is a rare find in the service provider field. He is honest, hardworking, and excellent in his communications. He does research on various projects to ensure he is utilizing the best processes and products. I would recommend him to anyone and will continue to look for opportunities to work with him.

He never ended up giving us an estimate and I think he really did not want to do it. The first time he came out, we told him what we needed doe and he wrote down everything and said he would get back to us and it had been a couple of days and he did not call. I called him and he said that he had lost your phone number and that he was going to stop by. He came and measured again and also told us that he would leave us hanging, but we never heard from him. He is a very nice and thought he was very conscientious because he came right away the first time.

Cody was very flexible and was able to work alongside my husband and my schedules. We found a time on a Saturday that would work for us and he was more than happy to come and install the fan that day. He arrived on time with the fan and all his supplies and got right to work. Cody was very efficient with his time and worked hard, he had our ceiling fan up in a little under 45 minutes which was great! We were able to go about our day and enjoy our ceiling fan that night! Cody was very nice and friendly and a pleasure to work with. He was right on time and very flexible with us since we are working professionals. I would definitely use Hunny-do Services in the future.

He works quickly and understands construction and working efficently

I called him up and told him what I needed and he wasn't able to do it because of his current work load and schedule. He told me what to look for and what to watch out for. Even though he wasn't able to do this job, after talking with him he seems like someone I would trust to do work on my home. I did talk to someone else who had work done by him and they said he did fantastic work.

He was up front and honest about pricing and his availability to do the work. He completed the job in a day and did a wonderful job installing a very sturdy, visually appealing, secure railing. My husband and I were very pleased with the work and will use his services again and highly recommend him to others.

This was major stuff; it took him six days to do it. He did a really good job, and I was really impressed with how quickly he got back to me. He never made me wait without calling me, which I've had so much trouble with with any kind of person like that, so that was really good. It's hard to compare pricing just because I don't know how much someone else would have charged, so I'd give them a B on pricing.
