I called Cody as my battery was dead in my vehicle in the garage. I texted him on 2-21-13 and he called me back immediately. He agreed to come over the following day 2-22-13 so I went out and purchased a battery for my car. He arrived timely and began to remove the battery and we determined that the battery I purchased was not going to work. He called where I purchased the battery and determined there were two type of batteries for this vehicle and the one I needed they did not have. He then called another place and found the battery. Cody agreed to come back the following morning and put the right battery in my car which he did. I have used Cody twice so far and am very pleased with his services and pricing. I have more projects coming up to include installation of a a driveway motion detector, outside solar lights, construction of my hardtop gazebo and a address sign post for my house. Once that work is done, I will post reviews as applies.

Cody was great. I had originally wanted the rods over the vertical blinds and he tried every way he knew to do it that way. Finally, he let me know that the construction of the wall did not allow for the insertion of an anchor that would support the rods. He had let me observe every step of the way so I knew he was right. He then proceeded to remove the verticals and installed the rods in a more standard way. He was extremely professional and kept me informed of everything. I would highly recommend Cody of the Hunny Do Service Co. He is very reasonable and does a great job.

On 12-21-12 we had a terrible wind storm. The gazebo on my patio ripped from concrete and blew across yard. Contacted Cody and he came out the next day 12-22-12 to dismantle and haul it away. He called me in am of 12-22-12 and told me when he would arrive and even texted me about 1/2 hour prior to arrival. During our initial conversation he provided me with his best guess on costs; worst and best. When he arrived he dismanted the gazebo and agree to hall it away for me. He also removed the screws and remaining scrap metal from patio. Pricing was exceptional and given it was Christmas week I was very greatful that he was able to come out.. I will use him again in near future for some inside home projects. I would also highly recommend him given the price, his professionalism,and punctuality. He was a really nice man! They never called me back.

I had an awning to be reattached to the exterior of the house. Cody Lawson of Hunny-Do Services called me back promptly, listened carefully to my description of the problem, suggested possible ways to repair it, and explained his pricing structure. He arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and explained what he would need to do to make the repair. He offered a fair price, which I could easily accept. He worked efficiently, got the repair done, and cleaned up thoroughly. I found Cody to be knowledgeable, punctual, courteous, fair on price, and good at communicating with a customer. All contractors should do business like Cody.

I called Cody about recaulking my shower and we arranged a time. He called me the next week to confirm and showed up on time. He spent quite a bit of time dealing with some unexpected situations. The previous owners had put caulk over caulk and that was making the job much more time consuming than we had planned. He explained what the situation was and had no problems fixing it. He even recaulked the top of the shower. He even cleaned out my shower drain which, much to my embarassment, was quite a mess. I thought that was unbelievably nice!!! He cleaned up the bathroom and the area and it looks fantastic!

Cody came out Fr iday the 21st to give me an estimate on the ramp. We agreed he would come back out on Saturday and build the ramp. He did come out Saturday with the materials needed. He works quickly, and cleaned up everything when he was finished. The ramp is very sturdy, and the crafsmanship was more than I expected. He did an excellent job! He was very knowledgeable, and professional. I've decided to look no furhter for a handyman. I had him get me estimates on several other projects that I need done around here, window replacement, draywall, flooring etc. Its' hard to find an honest, hard working, conscientious contractor these days, but I've definitely found one. I highly recommend him! He does good, quality work!!!

I was impressed with Cody from the beginning. He returned my call promptly and we were able to set a date up for him to come out and give estimates fairly quickly. As we were going over the multiple projects I was hoping to get done, he was honest and explained everything he would do. Being on a tight budget since me and my wife are expecting our first child in May, I was only able to get one project done at this time (but I will for sure use Hunny-Do Services again very shortly), I never felt pressured to do more or less or that he was not happy with my decision only getting one project done at this time. He easily worked around my work schedule and arrived on-time. Cody was professional from start to finish,explaining the work he was doing and answering any questons I had. He took the time to clean up when finished and the finished project shows how much he cares about his work and his professionalism. I will for sure use Hunny-Do services in the near future and recommened him to anyone looking for someone to do work. The overall experience was a breeze and stress free.

, Everything went well from start to finish. Cody had all the tools and hardware to perform the various tasks at hand and he was very informative about the work itself. Cody is a one man show and I think I could call him about just about anything that needed to be done around the house, knowing he could do it (or carefully explain why he couldn't). He's smart, very nice and polite: good guy, good work.

It was great. Cody arrived in a timely fashion, worked around the plumber (whom I now believe we could have dispensed with, in that Cody gave me lots of confidence in his capacity in a low-key way), and got the issues with the lighting/electricity fixed, which involved some troubleshooting. He gave back after the weekend to work on the gutters, then left some detailed instructions about how I should approach getting a new roof and gutters (when I get around to that). All in all, both the husband and I were quite happy, satisfied with the work, and felt great about finding someone that we believe we can trust.

I own an apartment building and I need a handyman to do a few things in some of the apartments as well as in the common areas. I called and left a message with my name and phone number, but no one ever returned my call.

Cody repaired a loose piece of siding near the roof of our home. It was done effectively and in a timely fashion.

From start to finish, Cody was good at getting in touch with me, explaining his work process before we met. He clearly explained where my project was in his list of work and would call me to let me know when he anticipated starting the projects. He kept his appointments, was on time, organized, and had the tools he needed to complete the work. The quality of his work was very good. He also coached me in several follow-up repairs that I could do myself. I really appreciated that he completed a wide variety of projects in one day and that he saved me money by teaching me how to do the simpler projects myself. I highly recommend Cody as a skilled and professional craftsman.

Cody was great. He answered my phone call the first time I called him and spent 30 minutes on the phone with me going over everything I wanted and how it should be done. He met me on site to review the work that needed to be done and came out the next day to perform the work. He went out and got 2 ceiling fans that he installed for 2 bedrooms. There was no current hookups, so he went on to the 3rd floor and cut spots in the 2nd floor ceiling for installation and ran electric wiring to the necessary sites. Installation went smoothly and everything looked great. Cody also installed a new brain box on another bedroom ceiling fan so our remote could control it again. He also touched up a bathroom door frame that was having issues with closing and locking. A+ work and professionalism in every aspect. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Overall - Cody was very knowledgeable and fair. We were very impressed that he had a chance to sell us something that we didn't need, and he did not go down that road. That impressed us - and we will likely call him if we have additional concerns.

I've used him before. It went perfect. I had to wait, but it was ok because it wasn't an emergency. I wanted him to come out though so it was worth the wait. I really like him, trust him, & he's very contentious. He just does a good job!

He did as superb job. He had to restring one crystal chandelier from the tip to the 10 foot length of cable on the other end. He spent two hours stripping the wires because they were all sealed and he had to rewire the chandelier. He did a fantastic job. He was courteous, worked quickly, reasonably priced, polite, and helpful.

I am very pleased with the job. Cody was polite, prompt and professional. He called me immediately when he received my inquiry. He came at my convenience, exactly on time. He knew what he was doing, did it correctly and in good time. I would highly recommend his service and wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any handyman service I might need in the future.

I called them several times and never got a response from them. I left a message with a brief description of the work to be completed. I guess it was not a big enough job for them, even though their company name implies they actually do handyman work. Handyman work to me is several small jobs. I find it rude when they do not have the courtesy to take a minute and call and so they can not do the job at this time. If they are only looking for larger jobs, they should not list themselves as handymen.

Cody arrived on time and we reviewed my list of 26 items. He got right to work and I made sure that I had the list in priority order. He helped with moving furniture, inspecting sump system, insaliing surround sound, wood repair and sealing around windows, fixing garage door opener, hanging heavy mirrors and replacing lights in high locations. He also made sheet rock repairs and replaced my hand rails on stairs. In all he was able to knock out 21 of my 26 item list. I will have him back in the spring to fix a few more things. Great Job, very courteous and professional. I even have a new basketball net.

HUNNY DO came in on time , Cody had been thinking about just sanding and painting the wndos. After thinking about it on the way out here he decided it would be better and less expensive to use pvc trim around the windows. Cody completed the job in less time, doesn't have to come back cleaned up the site and it looks like I have new wndos. Cody is always pleasant doesn't mind my dogs, answers my questions and really knows what he is doing.

He was good. He cleaned up well and did everything I want him to do. I would use him again.

It went EXTREMELY WELL and I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED by all aspects of the work that was done on my basement. The work was above and beyond my expectations. The job was EXCEPTIONALLY CHALLENGING because it was the result of a waterproofing which resulted in taking 50 percent of the drywall out. The damage to the previously finished basement was substantial. I hired a previous contractor to re-finish the parts that required it, however, the job was aborted and the contractor left due to expectations that were not being met. There was a lot of work to do and each contractor that came out told me how "challenging" the job was since they could not do it using their own techniques from the bottom up. They did not seem motivated to do the work and my budget was being exceeded significantly. Cody, however, came in told me yes it was challenging, but that since he was so PASSIONATE ABOUT PLEASING HIS CUSTOMERS and making a LONG LASTING IMPRESSION, that he would complete the rest of the refinishing in my original budget. At the time, he had an important procedure that he was getting done, however, he continued to complete the basement work around his recovery. Cody completed the work on or ahead of time and the quality of work was ABOVE EXPECTATION. Custom parts of the finished basement which required CREATIVITY such as an in-wall audio video cabinet are absolutely PERFECT and in ROCK SOLID WORKING CONDITION 2 years later. Cody even did some electrical work for me SAVING ME LOTS OF MONEY given how extremely expensive things can get when you have to hire specialists for each and every aspect of the work. 2 years later, my basement is my favorite part of my house. Last thing to note is that if Cody does not get back to you right away, it is not because he didn't care. I read some not perfect reviews that are centered around a communication aspect. This is just because he is a very busy and very popular contractor. He is EXTEMELY PASSIONATE about his job and will get back to you and REALLY CARES about what people think about his work and level of service.

Great work and knowledgable advice. Cody did great work. Described what he was going to do and why. He came out a week before to size up the job and gave a quote a few days later after checking over his notes from similar jobs to give a sound estimate. Ended up being a bit cheaper than what was quoted, which was great. (My wife, however, was not happy with the cost and had thought that $300--as opposed to $500--would have been more reasonable.) Drilling through our 12" thick poured concrete walls was not something I was willing to try and do myself and I also have no experience with gas lines. Cody's expertise was obvious and the finished work looks great. I will definitely be using again in the near future. Highly recommended.

Mr. Lawton responded to my call within 24 hours. He made an appointment to view all the things I wanted done in my home. Upon arrival, he listened intently to my to-do list. He was very kind and professional. He offered great suggestions for my plans. He asked me for a time line. Mr. Lawton explained in detail his schedule and approximate date to finalize a quote for my to-do list. Once we agreed on a price, the rest was cake. He gave me starting dates(potential rain dates since it involved staining a deck). He showed up on time, and knocked out my list in no time. He had to come back the following day to complete deck. Again he was prompt. All the work was beautifully done. No mess. Just AWESOME. Prior to Mr. Lawton I worked with a handyman/contractor for 3.5 years. Over that time, he understood what I wanted, gave a good price and delivered a great service. This was my first experience working with another handyman. I could not have been more pleased with Mr. Lawton. He immediately understood what I wanted, gave me a good price with fantastic service. I will call him again and again!!!! He exceeded my expectations!!
