 + -1 moreHoward showed up a few minutes early and got started immediately. He had to wash all windows inside the house which in some cases meant moving furniture or other things. He was careful with our things and put everything back in its place. Around the outside of the house, he avoided our plants and shrubs. He had another worker with him so it was completed fairly quickly. No mess left afterwards and the windows look GREAT. Highly recommended!!!

Description of Work: We had our carpets cleaned in January 2013 and our windows and bathroom tiled floors cleaned in May 2013 by Howard's Cleaning Service. In January we had all of the carpets cleaned in our entire house... 3 large rooms, 3 small bedrooms, landing, hallway and stairway. I used a coupon purchased for $99 and paid an additional $90 to have all of our rooms completed. Very professional, easy to talk with and a spot on our family room carpet (silly putty) was removed... Even after another cleaning company had cleaned our carpets in the past with no success in removing it. The floors were still damp for many hours after cleaning, especially the lower level... Not sure if that's typical... Just worry about mold. I'll have to ask about that next time we have them clean. Because of our great experience with the carpets we decided to have Howard also clean our windows and tile and grout for 2 bathrooms. The master tile and grout looked brand new after getting them cleaned and sealed. The other bathroom wasn't quite as bright but still looked so much better. We had every single window in our 2400 square foot house cleaned both inside and outside and also had the sills and screens cleaned. It was Howard's first official window cleaning and they did a great job! They took the time to get it perfect and even pointed out a window that needed a new seal. I DO plan on using them for my future carpet cleaning, window cleaning, grout and tile cleaning and may add in our upholste red chairs next time, too!

 + -1 moreThe carpet was in a rental house and was completely abused by the previous tenant. There were some stains that I wasn't sure if they could be removed. I was actually considering getting new carpet although the current carpet was only 2 years old. I called and spoke with a company representative. She was well informed and after talking about the nature of the stains we determined there was a good chance they could be removed or at least lightened quite a bit. I called on a Thursday and was able to book them for the following Monday afternoon. They arrived on time and called about 20 minutes ahead to let me know they were on their way.The Job was done professionally with an eye torwards detail. They were actually able to completely remove the stains. They also added a de-oderizer which was much needed in this situation.
Description of Work: Steam cleaned carpet. 3 Bed rooms, living room, hallway and steps.

 + 0 moreOriginally, in fall of 2012, I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal Coupon from Howard's Steam Clean for $99 (4 rooms). By the time I had Mr. Howard come out to do the actual cleaning six months later, I decided to have more carpets cleaned, as well as a couch or two, for an added cost of $129, which brought the total cost to $228. Mr. Howard was great to work with, as he was very flexible with me in scheduling my appointment time, which was rescheduled on a couple different occasions. I would use this service again.

 + -1 moreThe gentlemen who performed the services were very nice. The tile looked very nice on e cleaned. We had the grout cleaned as well, and paid extra to get it sealed. They did a nice job, but I'm not impressed with the sealant. The 2nd job was to clean my living room carpet. It took me more time to vacuum my living room with furniture in it than it did for them to "clean" the carpet. I had a number of stains and was told they did their best to get them out but couldn't. I was told one stain would have to be "dyed" and could not be cleaned. Another was that the carpet was too "mashed" to get clean. This one was from us walking in front of the couch. VERY DISAPPOINTED. My husband came home, rented a cleaner from the market and had those stains out fairly quickly. Even the one I was told couldn't come out and would have to be dyed to match the carpet. Nice guys, but I will not use or recommend this service to anyone. Quite the contrary.

 + -1 moreBill (owner) and Eric came 8/20/13 to clean off-white carpet in large bedroom and hallway, plus clean a sofa. They were punctual, friendly, professional, and did an exceedingly good job. The bedroom is also often inhabited by 2 dogs and 2 cats, and it had been 9 months since it had been professionally cleaned. The carpet cleaners we had used for several years contracted out their carpet-cleaning services, and the new cost was prohibitive. I found Howard's Cleaning on Angie's list, and was so pleased with the job they did and the cost that I asked Bill what else he cleaned. When I found out he also washed windows, I hired him to come back the following week for our windows. The window-washer we had hired the past couple of years did not return 2 telephone calls last fall, so was very happy to find Howard's Cleaning. Again, they were prompt and thorough. I had removed items from window sills and smaller pieces of furniture that might have been in the way, but other items needed to be moved, which they did and returned everything to its original place. They were very respectful of garden lighting and other items outside, washed all the screens and storm windows (old house, old windows), and all at a fair price. We were very pleased.
