Howard's Cleaning Service

The service went well. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about an hour and a half. They also cleaned some step for us. The technicians were friendly and thorough. The carpets looked nice after the job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Fast, good job and would use them again. I would recommend Howards to any one.

Arrived on time and only took about an hour

It was a Big Deal purchase. They didn't charge me anything additional. I think I just probably misunderstood what exactly they were going to do. It was fine for what they did but I was expecting something else; it was just a misunderstanding. The gentleman that was here was very professional, very nice. He came on time.

Everything was professionally done.

Very friendly and efficient. We have some dark areas on light carpet that are difficult to clean but they even look good.

They were great! I really liked them. The service worked out well. We talked about another thing they do, tile steaming, for my bathroom.

I called them twice to schedule, but no one ever called me back or showed up.

The owner arrived on time and finished in less than 1.5 hours. The carpets were thoroughly cleaned and previous stains were completely eliminated. This was our first experience with this cleaning company and would definitely recommend him to everyone.

They were on time and pleasant and had a professional appearance. The job was completed in a timely manner but I was a little disappointed in a couple of areas and felt if they would have taken a little more time that the area would have turned out much better. They may have taken a whole 20 minutes and should have spent a little more time on the more trouble areas. Overall was a good job but I had used another firm in the past and they went way above average to complete the job. I thought I would try a new firm and really wish I would had stayed with Widmers. Again not a bad job but just had to measure up to previous company, Overall a good company.

The work was average. I was a little aggravated with the guy. I have a cat and when he propped the door open for his hose, the cat got out. I have a sign on the door about my cat, so I don’t know what to say. I was unhappy about the whole thing. The carpet downstairs looks pretty good but the carpet upstairs has areas that could have been cleaned better.

It went just fine. The guy came, cleaned, and he was prompt. He didnt leave any messes.

This is the second time I have used Howard's Cleaning Service. Like the last time, they were friendly, responsive and most importantly did a great job cleaning my carpets. I will use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. There were no additional charges. What stood out was the thoroughness of the job done. The price was a little high but comparable.

I had the room cleared of furniture. The serviceman called when he was on the way and completed the with no issues. When he left, I noticed the higher traffic areas did not seem to be any cleaner than before and really the whole room still looked a shade darker compared to where the furniture had been removed. On the back of the receipt I was given, there was a statement saying that some areas will look darker until the carpet dried. I decided to wait until the carpet dried and then look at the room again. It still looked soiled to me so I called the company to request that they come out again. When I called the gentleman was driving and pulled over so we could talk. I politely told him my concern. Before I could ask for them to come take a look, he began explaining how high traffic areas will be darker and about the age of the carpet, and fiber deterioration, etc. It was clear that he was not willing to hear me out. I said ok thank you and hung up the phone. Had he listened, he would have learned that the carpet is nearly new (~3 yrs old), and only one person lives in the house. I couldn't think of any reason why with such limited traffic and no stains, a normal carpet cleaning would not have been sufficient. I promptly called Teasdale Fenton with whom I had a great experience when they cleaned my upstairs carpet. I explained the situation (that they were coming to clean up behind another company), and they quickly fit me on their schedule. They removed all the soil to the extent that I could no longer see a difference in shade from where the carpet had been removed. I called Howard's because I had purchased an AL Deal for their company last year that I had not yet used. I appreciated that they still took it even though it had expired. I do not appreciate that they were not willing to follow through on the customer service.

They were professional, on time, and the guy was very pleasant but they did not clean as well as a previous provider. Although the carpet is older, there is only one spot that I knew was not going to be cleaned up and I was not very pleased with the work they did.

They did a terrific job. The floor has not looked this good in a long time.

There were 2 young men, who arrived on time. They vacuumed the carpet, pretreated the pet & other stains with a special deodorizing spray, then operated the steam cleaning unit. When asked, they gratiously went over the stained areas more than once. They also helped us with moving the sectional sofa, so that the Family room could be more thoroughly cleaned We requested 2 additional areas, the Living room and a small den. This was done for a small, and reasonable, additional fee of $30 + $15. All furniture was put up on small foam blocks. They did not act or seemed rushed. Excellent service, great value. A+

The two gentlemen who came by were very nice and professional. Unfortunately, my carpets just couldn't be cleaned. (I recently bought a foreclosure and couldn't even identify the stains, let alone when they occurred, so I didn't hold too much hope for them). If I ever have carpet again though, I'd hire them back. They were great.
